The story of the "crocodile who lived for 100 days" is essentially a story about life and how your life can end in a second and then the one after that for those you left behind.
I recommend that if you saw the manga you skip to minute 30 which is the continuation of the same if you don't want to read it again.
Story
The story unravels the routine life of a crocodile who arrives in a new city and his relationships with the members of the community, there is no drama related only a common and ordinary life but doesn't that make it more enjoyable?
Art:
The art
...
is the same as the manga if you expect something complex unfortunately you will have to look elsewhere.
Characters:
The characters are people without any special qualities, just people who live their day to day like that person who greets you every morning or the uncle you meet at the supermarket, which makes you empathize with the characters and their emotions.
Sound:
I should say it's not special if you want to be critical but since I'm not I won't say it because I really loved it. And if I may put it in this part the choice of voice actors made this more enjoyable.
I read the previous review more than once but I can't understand it, the first thirty minutes are enough to make you love the Crocodile, he lives his normal life and is the kind of effusive person that you can't help but love not only as a character but as a spectator and which makes you suffer his loss.
This void was what I thought when I looked through the manga, however this movie gave the plot the right closure.
In it, a frog moves to the city and his personality is the same as the crocodile's, which prevents the crocodile's friends from relating to him and hurts this boy deeply until he gives up and realizes that for some reason he will never be enough for them and he will not be able to enter their circle.
When the crocodile's best friend, who was cold to the Frog when he met him for the reasons previously mentioned, sees him cry, he realizes that the rain that did not stop because of his friend's death has finally cleared up and he can move on and open his heart to tomorrow. (Yes I skipped a lot but I really want you to see it instead of reading a summary).
The scene of the Frog and the Mouse watching the sunset is the culmination of the pain that has accumulated for the Mouse and with it he can finally move on, but not only him but also his friends who had distanced themselves from this event begin to send messages to the group chat in which the Crocodile's last message was found and the subsequent scenes are like life continues to move forward and with them in it this time.
A beautiful film if you like simple but emotional memories of life with a greater depth than can be seen with the naked eye, you just have to stop thinking about the failures and enjoy it.
