So you have Tokyo ghoul an embarrassing adaption of a series that takes on the topics of the morality behind eating meat when a new species becomes higher on the food chain than humans. Then we've got Parasyte which takes on the same topics, the protagonist who becomes half of this new species and half human must live in the middle where he wants to stop the man eaters but along the way becomes more like them. He begins to see what makes humans different and whether it's ok for humans to throw away burgers like trash when this new species can do the same to them.

He befriends multiple people along the way to help him out from America to Germany to Italy. The second season of the show Stardust Crusaders is when the HxH really kick as the group of friends must travel across the whole world to defeat an old foe with a new unknown ability.
