I’m so glad that I dropped Violet Evergarden two years ago because I never would have experienced how good the show was as much as I have now. The way Violet gradually starts empathising with those she writes letters for and understanding how other people feel was well done, and personally relatable. Her discovery of her humanity, what love really is and the love of life, not just for herself but especially for others was so heart wrenching, touching and extremely badass.

The first thing that I noticed watching Devilman Crybaby was the unique artstyle. Honestly I think the artstyle was quite tacky and the movements of the characters were literally out of a 2000s video game (the running scenes were horrible ngl) but the expressiveness that comes from the artstyle makes it easier to ignore the tackiness. -An annoying tsundere Bakugo guy for the first 10 episodes
+Bakugo gets less annoying during the last 2 episodes thankfully (We stan character development) +Pretty artstyle especially in the opening imo +Beautiful Settings +Not as focused on the fact that they’ve been isekaid and more on surviving +Death and dealing with it quite nicely +The goblins are humanised in a way where you understand how hard it is to take their lives which adds more realism and makes it seem less like a video game and more like real life I like the message given throughout the anime of not giving up even if you’re a weak weakling. It’s basic and big ... Apr 18, 2020
Karigurashi no Arrietty

I find the mother and Haru very much annoying though Haru is the main villain in a way so it makes sense how she would be portrayed this way but it was too much to deal with at times that I had to swear to release the anger...which one could argue makes the movie even better. Aside from these two characters though, I love every other aspect of the movie. The sound and music throughout was marvellous. The patter of the rain would most definitely beat the rainfall sounds found on youtube and there is a particular scene where Arietty leaves the house for her
