My very first review!
Ever so rarely does someone come in contact with an anime like Gintama. I read the manga first and was far too skeptical of this anime. over the course of half an episode I blossomed into a full fledged Ginbro!
Story 10/10
What can I say Gintama despite being so random an episodic ACTUALLY has a very good plot. I'm a sucker for anything about samurais so I was immediately drawn in. The anime is about Gintoki Sakata, a man living in an era were samurais are no longer needed. To make a living he runs a business called Odd jobs Gin with Shinpachi

Shimura, a man who wants to learn the way of the samurai and Kagura member of the Yato clan. Honestly it is the funniest anime EVER! If I had a nickel for every pop culture refrence I'd be rich right now!
Art 8/10
It's very shounen which I am a fan of though the women tend to look sort of the same to me sometimes. But maybe that's me!
Sound 10/10
I have every opening and ending on my I pod it's my kind of music.
Character 10/10
A lot of the characters are goofs or have some sort of hang up about them but they actually do develop as the show goes on. From the the first episode onward you're able to tell how everyone has such a significant impact on each other be that an influence or a foil.
Enjoyment 10/10
I tune in evey monday during school just to watch Gintama. If you want outrageous arcs and characters, some of the best lines ever, and laughs to last you months then Gintama is the show for you!
Overall 10/10
Gintama is my favorite anime of all time! It doesn't matter if you start at episode 1 or 152 you'll understand what's going on and be chuckling by the end of the episode!
