Both of these shows feature a cast of magical girls but with a dark twist. Both animes focus on psychological elements of horror. The show, Wonder Egg Priority, mostly acts as a metaphor for depression as the anime displays this through mostly sad and horrific themes. Madoka Magica shares many of the same themes but portrays the corruption of innocence. Overall, both animes are good dark magical girl shows that depart from other series with the same aesthetic.

Both Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill have extremely action-packed fight scenes while having extremely over the tops plots. They're both shows that are just extremely enjoyable with easy-to-understand stories. While absolutely ridiculous, both shows embrace their stupidity for the sake of justifying absolutely sick fights.

If you liked One Punch Man add

...then you might like Mob Psycho 100 add

Both these series were created by the same person and share similar themes of power and how that affects the show's characters. Both shows are very comical while having amazing animation. Mob Psycho 100 has an animation style closer to the aesthetic of the writer's original style while One Punch Man maintains a more anime style while retrieving webcomic references occasionally.

Both shows are filled with dialogue and have stories based mostly on 'telling' rather than 'showing'. They both have very interesting and diverse imagery while also providing an experience closer to reading a book rather than watching an anime. They both share themes of romance while providing greatly animated action scenes as well
