Character wise, nearly every most of the character have the same personality and one even share the same aggressiveness towards the guy.

Both share the same setting where MC's have to battle each level of a gamelike survival situation, how ever SAO's plot was a bit more serious and intense where the setting is in a gaming , while Dan Machi was more about getting prestige where the MC has to do also titlewise, SAO really fits well in the anime itself than Dan Machi where the titile doesn't correspond to the anime itself in fact it even conflicts with the plot.

It has the same illustrator who signature art involves boobs and the bloody, it has the same shallow plot, however HOTD's plot was more practical than Triage X whose plot is so elaborate for an anime than only runs for 10 episodes. Characterwise, triage X involves 1 guy and a lot of older women, while in HOTD it's two guys and one older girl, however the extra guy in HOTD was basically sidelined for the most part.
