The story goes like whether you like it or not, SHE'S A SLUT WHO WILL DO ANYTHING FOR FAME.
While that aspect might be unsettling for some, I have to say, I was genuinely impressed by this movie. It's no wonder I've heard so many rave reviews about this anime.

What really stands out is how the narrative blurs the lines between reality and illusion not just for the character, but for us as viewers too. We find ourselves experiencing her struggles and confusions alongside her, which creates a deep emotional connection. It’s like we’re pulled into her world, feeling the intensity of every moment.

The storytelling is ... brilliantly crafted, twisting our perceptions in unexpected ways and keeping us captivated throughout. And that plot twist at the end? I bet no one saw it coming.

This anime is supposed to be sugary and sweet, but heck man it feels bitter shit.

First of all, the heroine is literally dumb, she can't even speak up when it matters and is ridiculously vulnerable. She's so easy to manipulate, it's like she's begging to be taken advantage of. This is the type of character you don't want to leave alone.

And don't even get me started on the creepy physical closeness between the characters. It's like the author's fantasy gone wild. I mean, it's obviously a shoujo, and I bet the author is either gay or a girl. I don't bother to look it up, ... though, because I'm definitely not continuing this trash into part 2 or any sequels.

And what really grinds my teeth is that the characters who deserve serious punishment get off scot-free, they just got away with it, like the author's fart while writing this shit. At least have the decency to punish them properly!!! Give us goosebumps!

Well then, I guess if you're a girl or into this sort of thing like the 'author', you might like the characters and spoil them, but for me, this anime is a hard pass.

I'm so done with this series, not gonna bother with the rest of the seasons. From the start, everything's been a mess. The characters are annoying, their concepts are contradictory like, what's with the actress doing shady jobs? it's only gonna come back to bite her. The pervy MC, didn't he have this beauty right in front of him?. And then there's Ruka...in what the actual heck? Even if it's just a part-time job, she's a freaking minor doing sketchy stuff. And to make matters worse, they even showed a scene where she's holding hands with some adults in suits. Like, what kind of messed ... up vibes are they going for here?

And honestly, the only redeeming qualities of this dumpster fire are the opening song and the female character designs. And yeah, I know I shouldn't say this, but the male character designs are straight-up ugly. Like, all of them. What were they thinking?

Anyway, if you're in the mood to feel irritated or just wanna torture yourself, then I guess I'd recommend this shit.

Time travel-themed anime usually delves deep into intricate details, making it rare to see one receive such a low rating. The obvious reason here is the dreaded NTR. It really caught me off-guard, I expected a tear-jerking, mind-bending experience, but it turned out to be a total heartbreaker.

Many viewers despise NTR, and in its particular arc, saga, or whatever you call it, a whopping 3/4 of it is NTR, I will not be surprised if lots drop this anime. If you're in that crowd and thinking of giving this a shot, brace yourself.

Also...
*It's frustrating to see the main character grappling with so many questions and ... moving slowly in crucial moments.
*Has bootstrap paradox.
*And seriously, what's the Beansprout name? I just don't get it.
*And did he just leave his another daughter? at least introduced yourself.
*Lots of loopholes.

Introducing a gun in a medieval fantasy anime always a terrible idea, as it disrupts the very essence of magic and fantasy. The mismatch in time and theme gives off an impression of a lazy strategy to conclude story arcs, resembling cheating game. I understand its from the lost civilization but deym, right at the start of the series?!

Dunno who came up with that idea, the director, writer or author but it totally wrecks the mc's strategical characteristics. Using a gun ain't exactly what you call a 'strategy' in a medieval fantasy world.

The story falls flat, was expecting some 'Overlord' vibes but got let ... down. And why introduce a useless teleportation if they end up trekking for four days on foot? It's painful to watch.

On the bright side, the characters are interesting and funny. The demon lord kinda gives me vibes of the vampire queen Krul.

This Love Live series is, without a doubt, the weakest and horrible link in the franchise. The group lacks unity and doesn't even have a name. "NAME" represents all members and is a significant step towards unity. The lack of a group name and cohesion weakens the storyline. The story is all over the place with no clear overarching goal.

If "horrible" is a theme, then this one definitely falls into that category.

The exchange student subplot at the end feels contrived and lacks a compelling rationale—what exactly is the purpose behind her idol ambassadorship? To spread the gospel of idolhood? This just a song and dance ... performance, and isn't a cryptic piece of art with hidden depths waiting to be unraveled; it's more like a misguided attempt at complexity that falls flat. If these 'character' were real, I'mma slap her three times to tempted to shake some sense and send her packing back to Japan.

Some good parts stand out though,
-Setsuna's performance stands out as a goosebump-inducing moment.
-Each character having a personal song inject a sense of individuality.

Unity - 0/10

This anime stands out as the most disappointing I've come across. It's a chaotic mess, leaving a trail of unresolved plot points in its wake.

-The boob teacher's abrupt appearances and disappearances only add to the confusion.
-The tangled relationships between Mizuho, her teacher, and the president are left hanging without resolution.
-Hoshi's lack of impact on the storyline leaves you wondering what his purpose even was.
-The perpetual anger of the blonde girl remains unexplained.
-The sudden appearance of adults in the station contradicts earlier established premises.
-The space-related elements and the bizarre tail-less monkey subplot add unnecessary complexity without adding value.

The narrative is scattered like confetti, with the ... supposed award-winning quality being a far cry from reality. The climax in the final part feels like a wasted opportunity after investing time in the preceding 11 episodes. To top it off, the main character's portrayal as a coward adds to the frustration of watching this train wreck of a show.
