similarities: - base of the anime is the same: mc puts down their career to find a killer (and how revenge can have a major impact on someone) - aqua and dr tenma's intelligence is similar (since aqua was a doctor in his past life lmao) - both have plot twists differences: - oshi no ko focuses on the dark side of the entertainment & music industry, as well as the relation between idols and fans + the public - monster focuses on how anyone can get to their dark sides and turn into a 'monster' - oshi no ko has a few elements of slice of life & comedy while monster is mainly mystery, thriller & crime-based (don't let the fact that oshi no ko is sorta a slice of life deceive u tho there are quite a lot of dark moments as the series goes)

- both animes have moments of comedy and seriousness - small bit of romance between the male and female mc throughout the progression of the show - hanako and yato are similar - chill on the outside, but actually hold a dark secret inside (and try to hide it by being silly and smiling) - revolves around spirits (in tbhk it's supernaturals & in noragami it's phantoms) - relation between yukine + yato and hanako + kou is similar (there's tension and differences between both but it starts to soften throughout the anime) - plot is somewhat similar - mcs are somewhat same (hanako = yato / nene = hiyori / kou = yukine) - yato + hiyori & hanako + nene 's relation is similar (male mc and female sidekick) if u wanna try school-based animes, then def give this a shot :DD
