There are certain types of manga that I leave satisfied with after finishing, and this manga was not one of them. It felt empty as a whole, but how could I lower it to a 9 or 8 because of that?
This work is bigger than a manga, it adresses some issues really well, throws out thought provoking questions that are fundamental (It is my opinion that there are several main questions that doesnt have an easy answer which majority of the people ask themselves, and their answer to those questions determine the way they live) to life so common that sometimes they are sidelined by
...
other things, depicts somewhat reality of the world we live in. Across all of that we follow our protagonist on his journey.
I am a sucker for works that focuses on the main characters but I didnt feel it for this work. Yet again, this work is interesting enough that it wasnt even an issue. There was an absolutely beautiful (I am not saying well-drawn, mind you) heroine that is incomparable to "waifu" characters thrown in just to do fanservice without the slightest hint of personality. She made me feel deep emotions that very few characters managed to do.
This work also made me realize that the way I thought how people are coping with the reality of their existence might just be me projecting me own thoughts and actions on them while in reality people can live without even having thought about it. I guess there are more misconceptions I have and the projections I do unconsciously, I hope I too will realize them and confront them successfully
Quite frankly I was not able to make sense of certain scenes and was able to make sense of some scenes, I think this is the kind of work that you have to think about at some points which might be (understandably) not many peoples cup of tea. I honestly dont know how this became this popular since I thought it was intended for a more smaller audience (psychological manga are generally harder to start as it requires a little bit more attention and thinking [which people understandably might not want in their manga they just want to read to have fun])but I am happy that it worked out.

Waifus.
We all know them, we all love them. If youre specifically looking for a harem manga chances are youre looking for them, and if you dont pay attention you might be just satisfied after your read. Which is good but I find it rather unfortunate
While this manga does provide beautiful and unique waifus who actually have their own personalities and act somewhat more realistic compared to other harem mangas (like the ones the unpopular guy does a single act of kindness to the extremely popular and good-looking heroine and she falls in love with him. Do you know how many favors attractive women get in
...
a single day?) Before the romance kickstarts, there are bad impressions, events that actually happen, and steps our MC has to take. Its romance is quite immersive
My teenage self was first introduced to the medium of mangas through this work, and it has a rather important place for me. As such I will admit that I am biased but I will also mention that I started to really appreciate it only after my rereads. Like how many people were introduced to some animes I also learned it through some Waifu Compilations, and the moment I saw Miku, I opened a new tab to try and watch it, so keep this part in mind when reading below
The girls are well-written, I re-read it more than 3 times, and every time I finished it again, my perception towards them changed so I can say you can probably find something in every one of them, yet it would be dishonest of me to say the Miku and Nino basically has fandom by the nose. They are not basic, they are likable and watching their development was fun. I watched and read shit ton of harems, played visual novels and I can say this had one of the best casts of heroines.
Yet, to me this work transcendence the limits of being a manga and becomes an experience only because of Fuutarou. If you want to turn your brain off and just watch a manga with waifus (understandable, I too like to partake in it) you might miss it. I know because I did.
Watching his journey, the steps he took and the changes he underwent were beautiful. At certain points, the author subtly dropped some details, and there were really important moments that you could miss. He is bigger than a harem MC, he wasnt kind to others for no fucking reason, he wasnt the "pervert" type where the cast somehow tolerated him for some reason nor did he ever stopped changing. It is my belief that a character does not need to be slaying monters with a sword like Guts or to be Ayanokoji to be thought of as a "good MC". Mind you, Guts is one of my favorites and I too had my "Im literally Ayanokoji frfr" phase.
His motive was his family, and his ability to move forward with the plot were caused by his backstory and his personality. There wasnt a single moment where it felt he was the device for plot to move forward, but rather the plot followed as he went on.
It is rather hard to continue on with this without any spoilers and I can keep go on and on about Fuutarou but I will have to stop here. I already have several paragraphs of analysis about him on the subreddit and at l can at least be assured that it is not just me who is trying to find meaning in things even the author thought of (kid named finger)
I want to close it of with this. Call me egoistical but if youre reading it I believe you having gone through my profile is more likely than somehow finding this from other approximately 100 reviews, and I will be repeating myself so you can close it. If you havent read my other reviews I will also mention it here that I think it is a shame how much a character has to do in order to be appreciated. There isnt anything that affects me personally, but if I was the author of this manga I would have given up on making the MC interesting and just put that effort on drawing hot waifus as for some reason they are more well recieved.
What? Did you say that its almost like real life, where a normal guy has to be actually interesting to have a chance to be noticed, while a woman just has to look good? How dare you, you misognystic incel!!

If you like Danganronpa a lot just dont think about it, I recommend you to just go ahead and read it. Reading this review will probably take more time than to finish it but I will write this anyway
As I said, if youre a fan this is some good entertainment, especially if youre a shipper. As a former Hajibuki enjoyer myself I had a lot of fun reading it. You can also check out other Danganronpa mangas if youre a fan
I think its hard to come across to this one unless you specifically searched for it but I will also add that if havent seen
...
the Danganronpa franchise you probably wont enjoy this one. You can check out the subreddit for reading order, yada yada but my sincerest advice would be to not interact with the community much, not that theyre bad or anything

Here is what this site says about reviews in bold text "Readers are not interested in how you came to watch the work or how the anime made you feel."
and what am I gonna do? Ignore it of course
This is one of the mangas that made me achieve Nirvana for some moment. It is not that it was as good as other mangas that I rated 10 or better than mangas that I rated lower, but reading this was quite the experience and I still remember it clearly. SLOPS dont do it, you read it then you forget about it
Synopsis and summary is boring, so
...
Im going to say this manga includes some weird kinks, but it is not as simple as your classic porn eromanga, no. This is beyond that, we witnessed an incapable teenager slowly but steadily turning into a responsible adult who will go at great lenghts for his loved ones. I think its the last panels that has dark colors and some depressing things but this manga always felt like it would end the moment I blink
It felt very fleeting, full of life, and engaging. THIS is how you develop a pathetic MC who cant help himself, looking at you Rent a SLOP.
If you dont mind the weird kinks, and want to read an interesting and slightly depressing manga I say go ahead

If you liked the first season then you will most likely also be fond of this one. Its the same old antics of our goofy MC doing his things with his "harem" of beautiful girls. But one thing is in this one there seems to be more romance since the first season already handled the buildup and such, besides from that there is not much to say. If you havent read the first season than I recommend you watch it first, and if you did, I suggest you watch this one too
One thing I havent seen others mentioning ( naturally, it doesnt seem to be
...
a thing to be written in this place but if people like this anime they would likely enjoy it too, it took me a while to know about that.) is there is also a manga named "Shin Seitokai no Ichizon" that is a sequel to this student council, where we see everyone leave to live their own lives and Sugisaki trying to do what he does the best, build his harem with the new student council. There is also the OG light novels and 2 VN titles that are apparently impossible to get to play.

Cum.69.Masturbation.Penis.Pussy.Poop.
If you dont think at least one of the words as peak comedy this mangas comedy might not appeal to you.
Yet, it would be a disservice to limit this manga only by its comedy, this is a story filled with grief, betrayal, love, hopes and dreams, persevering through despite the hardships and men finding their own intellectual own answers to life-defining questions such as "Ass or Boobs". One has to go on a journey of self-discovery in order to find answers to questions of this caliber after all. I did, and I choose the latter
I, like many, didnt read the full manga and started
...
off where anime left off. How was I made aware of the animes existence? My teenage self saw one clip (yes, of that character) and then locked in as the youngsters these day might say.
Anyways, the story is very engaging despite how long it is and there was only 1 arc I considered it to be bad (bad doesnt do is justice, it was beyond horrible.) I couldnt stop my laughter at some scenes, which I can say I only remember Grand Blue and Scary Consignee (SLOP abomination) made me do, and the latter definitely wasnt intended to have that effect. The characters are decent, both sides were very entertaining to see, and the villians were unpredictable. I dont have much else to say since I initally read tihs manga many years ago, and after all this time I can barely remember some of the manga Ive read but this one certainly left an impression.
So, since this review is most likely one of the most recent ones how does it hold up to mangas that are made nowadays? Pretty fucking good. Also, Gakuto is a real one. Even after seeing many characters of this kind of media I still havent stumbled upon many characters that were such as bro Gakuto was to the MC

If the saying "Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable" is anything to go by then this can be only described as a work of art. I dont know about the comforting, but I can vouch for its spectacular ability to disturb me. Now, here is what you came here for, do I recommend you, the reader, this piece of art? Dont mind the long text, the paragraph below summarizes it
If the cover art makes your dick as hard as concrete and immediately spawns a desire to read all the chapters of her doing nothing but existing then go ahead, read it.
...
The main (and only) selling point of this "manga" is the incapable, immature NEET heroine with no qualities whatsoever (besides her MASSIVE BADONKERS). Anything from this point forward you can take it as a rambling on why I think like this.
Now, I am not trying to act all high-and-mighty, I too do partake in reading and enjoying some pure SLOP too, but I believe there has to be SOME attempt to make the characters interesting. Yet, neither the MC or the Onee-san had any moment where it pulled me in, or made me interested.
Is it all bad? No. There is the hidden gem that is called the Chapter 9. We are introduced to another delivery driver who mysteriously arrives at the Onee-Sans place, immediately flashes her Sharingan to MC for upon arrival (asserting dominance), and then suddenly starts... tweaking?
Uncontrollably.
This awe-inspiring turn of events results in Onee-san declaring that the male lead is hers in a very adult-like manner, leaving the Sharingan user (and me) flabbergasted. Truly, a sight to behold
Now I just want you, the reader to imagine the genders reversed and its the guy holding a female delivery drivers hand (I never mentioned the delivery driver information, because lets be honest its not what you came here for) and declare that she is his upon witnessing her interact with the opposite gender for the first time. Doesnt look very appropriate and "kawaii" now, does it? But of course, if its a hot girl (or well-drawn waifu) everythings OK. Many such cases
For the record, my friends, I too am all for hot waifus, after all my first exposure to this media was with "Anime Waifu Compilation"s and I still pull for waifus rather than meta in gachas. Although I have grown out of the former, I can still appreciate interesting waifus. I have dropped this extremely important information not to brag (not like its really something say to brag about in the first place) but to say that I understand the urge to read some slop sometimes.
For that, my friends, I feel you and will recommend "Looking Up to You" instead, a heroine who shares similar traits with this heroine (except the personality, which our Onee-san lacks) and a somewhat decent MC. But this Consignee manga is not it, if you ask me.
It is my suggestion to just go watch hentai or read doujinshi instead of spending time on this. If you did enjoy this manga then I can say good for you. Also like my other reviews Im gonna put this here cause I think its funny
This site emphasized this to the reviewer in bold: Readers are not interested in how you came to watch the work or how the anime made you feel.

When I write reviews, I generally think of who I should recommend this particular work to—or should I recommend it at all? And regarding this particular manga, I am having some hardships right now.
The main character is "average guy", just some "nice guy" who has no unique features whatsoever who somehow happens to attract the "most popular girl in class". He is not in the slightest bit of interesting, Ive read more than 200 chapters and I dont remember a single event or single time he said that attracted my attention. Normally I would say I cannot blame the author, if I made a manga
...
and my heroines attracted more attention despite me putting significantly more thought than my female lead I wouldnt give much thought about the male lead too, but the problem is the female lead is also attrocious
"Komi-san" cant speak. This gives you an idea how this "manga" is going to work out, female lead is there without any personality, needs MCs help in order to function (somewhat) and MC obviously obliges, and after some time they go out. Just like how it works out in other (shitty) self-insert romance fantasies, and I can say it did not disappoint in that aspect. Now, Im not even "woke" or "sjw" but brother, please, give your female characters have some substance bro. And for the record, it doesnt bother me that a character cant talk, it bothers me that like in many other mangas the inability of the heroine interacting with each other IS the sole reason she can interact with the MC, and generally this kind of backstory leads to the heroine being extremely dependent on the MC. I think subjects like social anxeity and the inability to speak should be put in the story more carefully and discovered more rather than being some cover for the characters to interact.
There was also some attempt to some drama, and I think we were supposed to wonder who the main character is going to pick. I would have had such thoughts occur to me if only I couldnt read the title, or didnt know the main female leads name, unfortunately I wasnt so lucky
I can't even remember the other characters. There was one femboy(?) [no, i remember that character because they were doing some stupid shit but somehow did the most moves to lead the plot forward] I think, which seems to have become a stereotype because I saw a character just like that also in "The Student Council has Holes" or something. No, it's not an Ecchi manga. I know the title is misleading.
I would have loved to claim that "I had to ENDURE reading this manga so you dont have to! Look how amazing I am!!" but unfortunately I didn't read this witch such noble thoughts in mind. I was rather inexperienced regarding manga, "not-so-cultured" if you will, at the time I read that and just wanted to see some romance. Horrible decision.
Do I recommend it? Yes, only if you were forced to choose between Rent-a-girlfriend or this, then please go ahead. Also I forgot to mention but this story has too many unneeded chapters, and theyre not even funny
Note: If you want some self-insert romance this is still pure slop. Just read something else.

when I read this manga in 2019 my then-not-so-cultured mind was rather impressed with this work, and after reading too many mangas and checking it out on this one I can say it's not really good, not very but its definitely a good read
If you have a preference for zombie waifu just go ahead and read it, the MC is also not a pushover and while sometimes makes very questionable decisions it is not overdone. It has a unique sense of mystery and bittersweetness in it, if you're in your mild depression "arc "I recommend it, but if what you're really looking for is peak
...
writing then I say you're better of reading other mangas. I feel like some content are better off be consumed in certain states, and I feel like this manga is just that manga where you want to read romance but cant find anything better to read
There is a little part which I think as peak, though admittedly there is also a part that I despise so it makes it equal

This manga being so high-up on the list is crazy, its a good harem manga but definitely not this good. I suspect this is because of the "OG" manga readers who read this work more than a decade ago and decided its one of the best harem series (which is not a title you would have much competition to be honest) theyve read to date, in which who am I to blame them?
Nonetheless, story is good. Main character is good, waifus are nice. Pretty much everything you would expect from a harem manga. The reason why I dont think it should be so high is
...
because this is good for a harem manga, not the standart ones. Come on man, dont tell me this manga is better than Bokutachi ga Yarimashita or overall more enjoyable than Prison School.
If you want to read some decent harem mangas I recommend this one, but if youre looking to read a manga and you noticed just happens to be a harem then I wouldnt recommend. Also, I think people who like these kind of content would enjoy VNs much more in my opinion.
