Do you want to know the secret to this world?
Honestly, these OVAs are awesome. I watched and enjoyed both seasons of Little Busters so I decided to watch these. Great decision.
The story routes are great. Saya's route with all of the shadows and action scenes really reminded me of Angel Beats, one of my favorite anime. Saya's route was very profound, while making me laugh at the same time. Sasami's route has proved to be pretty entertaining from what we've seen, as it is full of comedy and transformation hijinks.
The only worry that I have is that Saya's route took up four episodes. That's exactly
...
half of the eight episodes that were created for this. I know that since Kanata's backstory was mostly revealed in the first season, I seriously worry that the pacing of Sasami's and Kanata's routes will be rushed because of this.
The animation is done by J.C. Staff, the same people who animated the other Little Busters seasons. The art was just as good as it was before, which is nice considering that I enjoyed the character designs and overall look of the anime.
Honestly, I really liked that they incorporated the music box song from the menu in the arcs. They played the song Rita sang for the first season as the opening again, which I really thought was awesome since it was my favorite opening from the series.
These characters are great, easily one of the best parts of this anime. I was a little worried that the additional Little Busters members such as Komari, Mio, and Haruka were going to end up being pushed out of the matter to pave way for the new heroines. The characters are as fun as they were before, which is a definite plus.
One character that I could definitely identify with was Tokido Saya, the first heroine. Even though I'm not a gun-slinging badass, she is shown to be a airhead at times and often acts like a tsundere, which is something that I tend to think that I am. I got super attached to her and bawled so much at the ending of her route. She honestly reminded me a lot of myself, which is a great thing since it shows that the creators worked hard at making characters relatable.
Honestly, I am enjoying every minute of these OVAs. I would definitely recommend these to anyone, but would advise for you to watch the first two seasons to become acquainted with the characters.

You're about to grow up into the real world, what's the logical thing to do? Play baseball with friends, of course!
The story seemed fun at first glance, just some friends setting up a baseball team and it seemed to deliver pretty well... Until you realize that this was made by Key. Don't get me wrong, this anime had some heartfelt moments, just not up to the typical Key caliber. The anime ended itself pretty well and could have easily ended here, but I'm glad it didn't.
In my opinion, this anime felt quite a bit like a dating sim, as Riki is the only one getting
...
members for the Little Busters, hence him being the hero. He spends his time developing relationships and learning about the girls as it goes, triggering "event flags" as they have heart-to-heart moments.
The art was very pretty, as some of the scenes made me just go "wow", such as the meteor shower and the sunsets. The character designs were unique in their own ways, though some were similar for various reasons, such as Kyousuke's and Rin's.
The opening and ending songs were very nice, as I have put the opening on repeat many times and they add to the upbeat feel that is this anime. However, there are slower and sadder songs for the more important and serious moments in this anime, and trust me, there are a few. The voice actors did great with their roles, and gave each character a voice that worked with their personality and looks.
I believe the characters were one of the best parts of this anime. Most of the characters were developed except for the main four excluding Riki. They did the developments well, giving each character a unique background and a special presence. The characters you were supposed to dislike were developed and made into something that you came to not hate so much. (Except for Sasami. She didn't get squat.)
I thoroughly enjoyed this anime. Even though it didn't have the energetic feeling that most comedy anime seem to have, but I liked this mood better as it made me feel warm and fuzzy inside. There were some hilarious moments along with fun characters that seemed to have their own quirks, like Mio's ability to have a camera whenever needed and quick to take pictures or Yuiko's possible homo/bisexuality. Or just love of cute things (Think this as you will.)
So what are you waiting for? It's on Crunchyroll now!

I really liked this anime more than its slice of life predecessors, and I feel like there's reason behind that.
Story: 7/10
The story is your usual slice of life anime plot. The plot was in the synopsis, so I'm not going into detail. The story has its usual setting at school, and in a school club, to be exact. I wouldn't suggest skipping episodes, as new characters appear throughout.
Art: 7/10
These character designs are pretty adorable. They match the characters' personalities. This anime has a very happy feel, and the lighter colors and cute characters help establish that.
Sound: 9/10
I really liked the opening of this anime, and
...
the fact that the seiyuus provided the vocals for the songs in the anime only made it better because they were able to put their own character's voice tones into it (if that made sense). The voices really matched their characters.
Characters: 8/10
Man, I loved these characters. Yuzuko never failed to make me laugh, Yukari was just adorable and at times funny, and Yui was able to deal with their crazy antics and balance out the group while still being a friendly person. Most of the characters were probably homosexual, but hey. It brought some pretty awesome comedy to the playing field.
Enjoyment: 9/10
I really enjoyed this anime because it made me happy and gave me good laughs throughout. I honestly don't think that would be very good dubbed because some of the jokes are fueled by puns that are only understandable when hearing them in their own original language. I think I'm probably going to watch a few more episodes of it sometime soon. I'm hoping for a second season!

Oh my god, where to even begin...
To put it shortly, Angel Beats is one of, if not my favorite animes. Let me share those reasons with you.
Story: 9/10
At the beginning from reading the description, I thought that I was going to be watching an action anime. At the beginning, that was a great setup for one. I watched a few episodes, then debated watching it again because my expectations were much different than the reality. However, I kept watching it, and I'm so glad I did. This anime is one that can make you giggle, cry like a baby, and have songs stuck in your
...
head like peanut butter.
Art: 10/10
The opening sequences are both beautifully animated, and the colors are bright, and the animation is consistent. I don't know much about this field, but as far as I'm concerned, I liked.
Sound: 9/10
The voice actors are good, and the soundtrack for this anime is unforgettable. LiSA and Marina are two of my favorite singers, and they did songs like "Crow Song", "My Song" and "Alchemy" justice. We can't forget Lia and Aoi Tada, the singers of "My Song, Your Beats" and "Brave Song". Those songs give me chills every single time I listen to them.
Character: 7/10
This was probably my least favorite part of this anime. The characters were good altogether, but there were just to many to remember the names of. I could remember their names for the most part, but certain characters just slipped my mind until now. A lot of the characters like Noda, Shiina, Ooyama, Matsushita and T.K. were just pushed to the side later and didn't get much recognition or development, if any. I think it was great that we got to peek into the lives of characters like Yui, Hinata, and Otonashi, but what about Shiina or T.K.? Whatever happened to them? However, I did like the broad spectrum of character types and the way they interacted with each other. But if multiple characters are added, shouldn't there be something done with them? In my opinion, I think so.
Enjoyment: 10/10
This anime had me laughing a lot, like when they explored The Guild and Ooyama was being a screw-up, forgetting all of the trap locations. It also had me shedding some tears, and enthralled me mostly throughout. There were many good action scenes throughout, despite it not being an action anime. My expectation did mess with my enjoyment at the beginning, but I thoroughly enjoyed it come the end. I would definitely recommend this anime to anybody wanting to watch some anime.
Overall, I would rate this anime a nine out of ten. This anime had flaws such as characters showing up and just disappearing with no notice whatsoever, but I still enjoyed this anime nonetheless.
