Both are shonen sports manga with pretty common "from zero to hero"main chara but more important are the similarities that you will see on every step. First of all characters. Keishin can be like Hiruma's little brother, whats more all rivals are equally fair players and extremely likable full dimensional people. You will see some storytelling common points too but I'm not gonna spoil you because finding them all give a lot of fun and satisfaction.
