Ao Ashi

Now this is quite a radical recommendation, but I can't help to think about HxH whenever I watch Ao Ashi. The first thing I notice is how Ao Ashi always tend to explain the thought process of its characters for their action. It always make you think the how and why this characters do this and that, and what is the best course of action to take before you make a move. This is very HxH. As for the MC, I also found the parallel between Gon and Aoi family. Gon -> mother figure, real father Aoi -> real mother, father figure Both their mother kinda prevent them to take a new challenge at first, but at the end they eventually support them because it's their dream. The catalyst for their action also similar, Ging for Gon, and Fukuda for Aoi. And what more surprising is, Fukuda is pretty similar to Ging in the way they control everyone around them.

- Both have the same feels. - They show the beautiful of human relationship. - Kinda have a similar setting, while Aria takes place in the future yet like 19th century Italy, Violet Evergarden takes place in 19th century Germany like region. - In certain episode, both use a similar concept of "letter that travel across time". - Great soundtrack, melancholic, have similar feels when you listen to them. Having the same script writer, it's not suprising to find these similar elements. Both are pretty good top tier slice of life anime.

JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Part 5: Ougon no Kaze

I'm surprised no one recommend HxH for this series, Jojo is all about battle of wits, if you want to feel the same experienced as this series, obviously it'd be HxH, and a little bit of spoiler, the new arc of HxH manga has a lot of Jojo reference from this part.

While Saiki Kusuo is parodying Shonen tropes, Gekkan Shoujo is parodying shoujo tropes. Both have a similar type of humour, a collection of random story in one episode, and the characters are really unique. The comparison between characters is like this Saiki -> Nozaki Teruhashi -> Chiyo Mikoshiba -> Kaidou I highly recommended both anime since it will make you laugh out loud alone in your quite room

no one make a recommendation to HxH? okay, the similariity between these 2 animes is in the way they tend to over-expaining something narratively though MPS's was more humorous and yet it's rare to see any anime that put narration dominant in a episode.

Both have a same atsmosphere when it comes to fight, wherein the one with smarter tactics will win the fight, not the stronger one.. Chimera ant arc from HxH is the most similar to Kisejuu World...
