This anime can be taken in a lot of different ways. It can be taken as an example of a miracle between two lovers in distant lands, or it can be taken as a lesson that anything is possible when you have hope. Interpreting the meaning of this anime is almost impossible for me.
This was really a rollercoaster for me, but it ended up at 9.2/10. The first episode gave an essence of it having a typical romance/comedy type of thing and at that point I really didn't expect much from it. But I decided to watch on, and I've seen
...
it in a different light.
Story: 9.5/10
Even though, the anime didn't show all the things in the novel (or I am presuming that it didn't), I was quite satisfied with it. Actually, I was really satisfied. The story development over time was one of the things I admire in this anime. It wasn't full of excessive violence that will take away the main focus of the story, but was just enough to show the stress and the intensity in it. The love development was also something to admire, even though it was already predictable.
Art: 9
The art and detail in this anime was excelent. It really gave you the feeling of Europe in that era. Also, it also went with the mood of the scenes. It wasn't excessive with fancy colors, but was enough to be well portrayed.
Sound: 9
One of the best BGM tracks I have heard. Each one fit the scene it was set almost perfectly, especially at the scenes where the characters show emotion of sadness and desperation of seeing each other. Of course the comedic BGM tracks were also admirable.
Character: 9.5
Each of the protagonists were really well developed throughout the story. The emotional development between the two was really something. The protagonists are good, but the side characters fit their roles really well. Each one contributed to the emotional sense of the story, even those ones you will only see in one episode. They were also entertaining at times as well.
Enjoyment: 9
I really enjoyed the story as a whole, but I really would love some type of follow up in the story, or something that would describe each of the protagonists adventures and feelings between the times where they were seperated and the end. That is the only thing I want to see.
Overall:
As I said in the beginning, I gave this series a deserving 9.2 (if not, higher). Definitely one of the best animes out there.

A short review about this short episode.
Basically this is what happens if Otonashi stayed behind. Whether he really did stay, a signal for a second season, or a just a short thing to show what would happen and what he would do if he stayed is out of my knowledge's reach.
Summary: A person that was in the afterlife realizes that he is dead and questions why he is there. Otonashi comes in and helps him figure out what to do buy challenging him and offers him help afterwards. The class causes a small uproar about it and
...
the teacher tries to calm everyone down and get them to finish the test. The main person refuses.
Story: 9
I'm only giving this a nine because I enjoy things that leave things out because it drives my imagination crazy. And also it also show some of the questions out there if he really stayed in the afterlife to help people. It may cause some to think that he maybe the guy who created the angel player and the Angel Beats time line maybe going in loops (which is the thing I do not want, but it's a thought nonetheless)
Art: 8
High quality art as usual. Really good tension scene.
Sound: 10
The voice acting was outstanding, and the choice of the BG was really good. It brought nostalgia even though it has only been a half of a year.
Character: 10
Otonashi showed a great deal of concern to other people in an indirect way. I like that because that's how I am. And the new character also showed a great deal of internal conflict and started to solve how to get out of it by Otonashi's help. That's really good character development in a two minute segment.
Enjoyment: 10
It brought a quench of thirst to me, since I've been looking forward to this since the first season ended. No matter what it was, I was still going to give it a 10.
Overall: 9
I'll give it a 9. It's probably because there wasn't much there, but there was something. Also, I'm sure it fires up people's imagination and excitement if there is going to be new season or not. I'm looking forward for more!

Toradora isn't your story that only focuses on one thing. Well, at least I don't think so. It conveys so much meaning to everything that is going on in life. It shows you that sometimes, even your most important wish, the with you want to come true the most, can sometimes not be reached. But it also shows some examples of how people decide their path and move on forward.
Please bear with me. This is only my third time reviewing.
The story was fantastic. Even though there are only 24 episodes, which is actually plenty, the story was well
...
developed. There are no complaints that I can think of right now. For example, the person you thought you loved just because of the way they act wasn't the one you loved, then comes another person who is a match for you. That is a good plot on it's own. That connects to what is going on in the real world.
The art... Fantastic. You could really tell they put a lot of effort into it. From they're facial expression, even the walking, they put a lot of effort. Then when the animation shifts to the parts where there is violence, the animation in that part was... Wow. That is all I could say.
The sound was great. Everything, the sound effects were timed well, and the sound tracks matched perfectly with the scenes. Although for some reason, the first ending song didn't quite get along with me. But the rest was great.
The characters were really the perfect match with the story. They're slow development in each episodes connects the viewer in the story that sometimes they might think that they are them.
The enjoyment... I enjoyed it very much. It's not like romance is my highest favorite genre, but I still like it. Especially in this one. Also the comedy, some actions, and others were also factors of the enjoyment it brought.
Overall, this show was really great. I only wish something like this will come in the future.

I apologize in advance for not making a good review. I'm not sure if I'm a good reviewer, but enjoy just making reviews.
First of all, the story is about the main girl, Miyazaki (or Seine) trying to avenge his guardian from mermaids, which isn't the mermaids we usually imagine. But she also has a job of taking out "mushi"(Bugs that take over someone's thoughts by the mermaids desires), but in order to do so, she must die at least once, meaning she's immortal. But meeting a guy name Tsugawa makes it difficult for her to do her job, because he doesn't
...
want her to die.
The story so far is great. The development of the story is going in a good pace that everyone can catch on.
The art will remind you of Karin (I think they're the same artists), which is pretty good in my opinion.
The characters make the story better. Seine reminds me of Yuki Nagato for some reason, but that's not the point. The development of the characters are going in good pace. Especially after they are taken over. They show they're true selves afterwards.
It's easy to enjoy the series because of its random comedies but also has serious action and some drama.
Overall, I enjoy the series so far. I hope you find this review at least okay.

A masterpiece. After seeing this movie, I forgave KyoAni for what they did with Endless Eight. Again, this is one of my first times reviewing so please bear with me.
The story was a very captivating. With Kyon's decision, he has seriously developed from just being a character watching in the sidelines, to taking a major role. The same with Nagato Yuki. She took a very huge character development after this story. Unfortunately, the other three SOS brigade members did not seem to appear much.
The art I must compliment the most. The animation was smooth, and they have
...
returned to their original style of drawing instead of K-ON's. The CGI was also well played. The stage directions are also worthy of a praise.
The enjoyment is out of this world in my opinion. No matter how many times a person watches this, they will enjoy it to their fullest extent. No matter what age, what country, or maybe even belief.
Over all, it was a very phenomenal movie. Everything was perfect in my opinion. Once, again, I apologize if this was not helpful.

This is my first time writing a review, so please bear with me.
I personally think that Angel Beats is a great anime. Why?
The story somewhat intrigues a person thought of what might be there after you die? It makes a person also wonder what other people might be experiencing. Is it good, or is it unreasonable. Also, it has the elements that a person would want normally. Action, comedy, slice of life, and maybe even romance for those who dig into those.
The artwork is great. It seems like every scene took a lot of effort.
...
The CGI during the animation, and the opening sequence are both really good.
The music in this anime is also very well played, in my opinion. The sfx match the scene and the voice actors/actresses play their parts very well.
The characters are great. The main lead, Otonashi Yuzuru seems to be the main focus of the character development category. Same with Tachibana Kanade, the antagonist in the earlier episodes. The character's personality is like in real life, except of course all the special abilities. You have a leader that seems to be strong in the appearance, but maybe a little weak in the inside. Mysterious people that makes a person wonder what they are like and what's their history. Silent characters who you just want to love and know about. And of course the normal people who seem to adapt to everything and try to make things better.
Enjoyment... It is very much enjoyed.
Overall, I think Angel Beats is very good. Although it will not surpass my current top favorite, it is worth while watching. I like stories that have some questions in them. Again, I apologize if this wasn't a proper review. It is my first time after all.
