Rainbow is an adaptation of an excellent manga and it excels in bringing it to life in it's animation, with it's sound design and the level of detail they go into with the language choices.
It is an almost completely faithful adaptation except that certain elements of a character are omitted which makes the character insignificant compared to the rest of the cast. This goes from an iconic line to a missing arc. But it still manages to make sense for the most part and I highly recommend it even with the missing parts from the source material.
