My name is Kurt Irving and I got several hobbies. Speaking of hobbies, one of them includes keeping track of non-anime cartoons and so far, I've only seen 165 (I have known cartoons for 26+ years and it would be great if I could talk to long-time cartoon enthusiasts who share the same experience that I do). If you want to know my age, I'll give you a hint, my zodiac is the snake (earth). As you probably know, Valkyria Chronicles is my favorite video game (aside from the two Gungrave games).
How I rate my anime:
7-10 (nice/fantastic/excellent)
4-6 (average/mediocre/tedious)
1-3 (appalling/horrible/unbearable/garbage)
P.S I'm an action comedy fanboy (albeit having a love/hate relationship with shounen) and I love hard bop music. Remember, all entertainment is subjective.
Update: I barely read graphic novels or light novels anyway because I have little time for basic literature
Another update: Let me be frank and tell you that I never liked Kyoto Animation (their anime and what they assume is their absolute best aren't good enough). Sorry but not sorry with absolute sincerity. I.e. that their anime has been boring to me since the 2000s.
2024 update: I'm currently improving my Japanese and ambidextrous writing.
Summer 2024 update: Kiddy Phenil is my other favorite character, I bet most of you dweebs don't even know who she is. Thinking about adding me on Discord? Well then, you must ask first.
Year of the Snake update: Since I started reading Copperhead, I might as well delve into other indie comics. Newer manga have not been given me satisfaction from a theme or narrative standpoint.

Thank you! ^.^
Those are some cool titles!
I started watching the Ranma 1/2 remake and it's bringing up so many nostalgic feelings. It's really fun!
I'm also watching Mospeda. I only have one episode left but Crunchyroll took it off before I could finish so I'm looking for a new place to watch it.
Happy Year of the Snake and 新年快乐!!🧧🎆🐲🐍
Hope you and your loved ones have health, prosperity, and good times.
Space Westerns are quite a ride. I love them too. Cowboy Bebop is up there for sure in that genre, also enjoyed Outlaw Star too and Trigun. Enjoy Bladrunner alot too though I suppose that is more cyberpunk/futuristic.
I finished the first season of The Expanse not too long ago, I definitely recommend it to you (though its live action series) if you haven't seen it especially if you have interest involving space, sci-fi, various of themes, and all in-between.
Haven't tried getting into indie comics, but seems interesting when I looked up the titles you listed. Big O is a good one too so maybe I should look into the comic series you mentioned.
Hehe its a small thing, but kind of tickles me you're reading Copperhead and mentioned the Year of the Snake. Happy Year of the Snake to you too, working on a drawing right now relating to the Lunar New Year sort of between work.
Your list is on point though, those themes are also why I gravitate toward the series. Though admittedly I haven't caught up with all the seasons yet. I always appreciate characters with ambiguity to them and a series that can convey multiple aspects of any journey/adventure overall.
I also noticed we have the same birthday. Haha Interesting. Also curious since I noticed Cowboy Bebop also in your top ten, how come? What also pull you toward that series?
And I was just kidding, you don't have to waste your precious materials drawing Zack. I do love him though. He's one of my favorite video game characters ever.
What I love most about Lupin is over all the characters' dynamic, the way they interact, cooperate, and/or compete (well at least Lupin and Fujiko hehehe). I also just enjoy the vibe, the art, and music as well. And thanks for your comment, how about you with Lupin?
GIS har jeg dælme ikke set længe. Den uofficielle AMV med king of my castle er nok mit GIS soft spot.
Fate/Apocrypha was fun, if you've seen the other Fate anime you'd know what to expect. Their interpretation of Jack the Ripper was really nice, and I wish they'd shown more of them. Haven't read any Fate light novels.
My partner and i just finished up watching a bunch of shounen anime, Bleach, Demon Slayer, Black Clover, really want something new like those, began season 1 of Jujutsi Kaisen, but the second season threw me off as it was quite different from what I expected.
As for other genres, Frieren was fantastic, and I'm currently going through Natsume's Book of Friends. Neither are action but have some cool fight scenes and the story really tugs at your heart.
Hellsing manga is way better than the anime, police girl's character is also fleshed out better, so I hope you enjoy it. What else are you reading at the moment?
