Subaru and Rin (Rideback) are both prodigy ballet dancers who pour there soul into it. Although Rin expresses her dance through Rideback, and Subaru is solely through ballet, readers who felt the raw power of Subaru should like Rideback (and vice-versa) as it conveys a similar atmosphere. The tempo of both stories is fast paced and keeps you on your tippy-toes. Lastly both manga display strong female leads that clash with their conscience. If you liked one your sure to enjoy the other.

You may think...?! With P.S.M.E about reincarnation and K.K about relationship, it's a far cry from similar. But for some reason one gave me a strong impression of the other. Especially the male protagonist showed parallel qualities, for example the possessiveness for their female counterpart and the fight with their inner demons. Furthermore the appearance of a male sub-character wanting to help the male protagonist; Kazama Haruhiko in P.S.M.E and Hideaki Asaba in K.K is alike. However the most profound likeness is the foreboding vibe the manga gives off. Both stories dig deep into the dark side of human nature that most of us can only fathom of and make us realize how fragile yet strong humans are. They are both great finds that are truly recommended.

Reason 1: Both are affiliated with the film industry Reason 2: The main protagonists, Kyoko Mogami (Skip Beat!) and Momono Tamako (Pearl Pink) carry double personas [Angelic x Dark] Reason 3: Entanglement with two (smexy) guys ! Sum it up = oodles of laughter and satisfactory bliss. Must READ!! Both!

This is purely art base. You either love it or just hate it. The story is very different though both have a suspenseful aspect. If you like the abstract art of Gankutsuou then you will definitely love Mononoke! It is as if two psychedelic artist decided to go on a rampage and viola! a polychromatic anime. It is really a must see for one or the other. As for the story, Mononoke is episodic and involves a pointy eared cat like looking man "Bakeneko" who names himself as the medicine seller. But he is not just any medicine seller for he can exorcise unwanted spirit. His method though is a little uncommon as he needs shape(katachi), truth(makoto) and reasoning(kotowari) to destroy the spirits. At times your eyes start to spin with all the artwork but you will definitely enjoy it!
