No problem with the art style whatsoever. The best part of it is the gore (obviously).

I've always been a fan of stories with an anthology-like structure. Each story is loosely connected via Dan but, ultimately, has nothing to do with each other. Each story has Dan finding out about someone's wrongdoings and how he deals with them.

Characters: 9/10
I love the protagonist, Hiroki Dan! He's like a mysterious vigilante who deals justice as fittingly as possible. I also like how he has flaws t help balance him out. As for the others, there are two major groups: the bad people who end up being ... punished and the people caught in the crossfire. Do what you will with that information.

Enjoyment: 10/10
Surprisingly, I enjoyed the stories. As messed up as it sounds, I liked seeing these people getting what they deserve. This is an underrated manga and I hope it gets more popular in the future.

(Well...I finally got around to watch Scumbag System...)

The story revolves around a normie guy, Shen Yuan, who gets transported into a harem xianxia novel. Not as the protagonist, but as the villain and former Master, Shen Qing Qiu. With the power of the SYSTEM, Sheng Qing Qiu must find a way to change the story and avoid his horrifying ending of the original novel.

Now, at first glance, this synopsis sounds a bit familiar, don't you think? It reminds me of Overlord in a sense of the main character being transported into the world of the novel (Sheng Qing Qiu) or game (Ainz) and having to ... adjust to the world they find themselves trapped in. Although Sheng Qing Qiu is OP, being a cultivation master and all, the SYSTEM makes sure that he doesn't cheat, making sure that Sheng Qing Qiu's fight for survival as fairly as possible.

Animation-wise, it was better than I thought. At first, I was skeptical of the 3D animations, it was actually quite impressive, and my first exposure to a fully 3D animated series.

Story-wise, it's impressively satirical, usually with Sheng Qing Qiu pointing out common tropes and using his knowledge of the novel to his advantage.

Overall, despite its somewhat short runtime, it turned out WAY better than I thought.

She and Her Cat: Everything Flows is a short four-episode story about a cat named Daru and his owner, "Kanojo," also known as Miyu, as they spend almost all of their life together.

This short series was loosely based on one of Makoto Shinkai's earliest works: a short OVA episode called She and Her Cat: Their Standing Points. The story is told from Daru's perspective, as he watches "Kanojo" live her days in their formerly shared apartment. While its overall runtime is short, this simple story is enough to draw the interest of both fans of Makoto Shinkai's works and fans who want to watch a ... short series worth watching.
As for its visuals and music, it's rather simple and sweet, but in actuality, it flows rather well with this emotional-driven story, especially in the final episode.

Overall, She and Her Cat: Everything Flows is a simple, yet captivating story.

Mo Dao Zu Shi S1 did exceptionally well. Therefore, S2 was no exception. Like always, the animation is very good, the story is intriguing as always, and the characters never cease to amaze me, both in a good and bad way.

However, I ended up repeating the first season's mistake: I didn't understand the story again on the first watch again. It's not the donghua's fault as it is on mine, so that's an easy thing to overlook.

Other than that, and the shorter run time, I didn't have any problems with season 2. Overall, Mo Dao Zu Shi S2 is great, but S1 was just slightly ... better. If S2 had around the same number of episodes as S1, I feel like it could've easily been 10/10.

Dream Festival, in my opinion, is one of my favorite idol animes. Yes, more then Love Live!.

Yes yes, I agree that the anime follows the same story as most idol animes, but it makes up for it with the character development (just the main characters, for now, Kurofune will come later).

Finally, there's the music. An idol or music anime with a bad soundtrack cannot be considered an idol or music anime. Luckily, the soundtrack doesn't disappoint. This anime gives the viewers a new song almost every episode, yeah I said 'almost.'

Overall, I think it's an alright idol anime, giving us a few hours ... of enjoyment.

Also, my personal favorite is "2032."

I agree with the majority of the reviewers. Mo Dao Zhu Shi is truly a great anime. Based on the novel of the same name, this eventually gets adapted into a manhua (manga), a donghua (anime), and even a live-action drama called "The Untamed" (which I'm watching right now).

After rewatching the first season, I found it interesting to learn the things that I didn't get the first time. Honestly, this detail acts as the only downside to the anime but rewatching it will help the story become clear while watching your favorite scenes again.

Storywise, it focuses heavily on flash-backs and builds character development.
Musicwise, it's ... one of the best soundtracks I've heard. The OP and the EDs are all really beautiful and high-quality and the OSTs are all equally as amazing with my favorite being "Wangxian."
Animation-wise, the anime is done by G.CMay Animation & Film, a Chinese animation studio that's also done few other works such as Quanzhi Gaoshou (The King's Avatar) and Aishen Qiaokeli-ing (Cupid's Chocolates). There's nothing unusual compared to your average action fantasy anime, but, nonetheless, detailed, especially the fight scenes.

Overall, Mo Dao Zhu Shi is a masterpiece that easily rivals that of equally popular donghua Quanzhi Gaoshou. It's just that good.

Isekai anime has taken the community by storm and that storm has become a full-fledge whirlwind with all these new titles and most have them seem to fall towards reincarnation or a full-on harem. There have been many exceptions in the creativity department, especially Isekai Shokudou.

Isekai Shokudou, in my opinion, is probably the most creative and the most underrated isekai anime. If Food Wars! stayed focused at Yukihira Restaurant with added isekai tropes, this is the result!

What I liked: interesting side characters, a creative approach to the isekai trope, it's not about an MC being summoned/reincarnated in another world for the nth time, visually appealing ... (thx Silver Link!), catchy OP (we need a full ver. of that song fast!), and a beautiful ED (similar to Grimgar Fantasy and Ash)

Overall, it's a nice anime that's fun and relaxing.
