This is my first review and i hope it will be helpful in someway.
I felt i had to write this to give Phantom -Requiem for the Phantom- the credit it fully deserves.
I actually loved this anime right from the start. Phantom -Requiem for the Phantom- takes you right into the underworld where there are gangs, guns and one wrong move could cost you your life.
The anime captures you right from the very beginning by really making you think. Questions are already beginning to forming that you want the answer to. Who or what is Inferno? Who is Zwei really?
The best part was, unlike in other

series' that i've watched, in Phantom -Requiem for the Phantom- your questions all get answered!
The story line was fantastic, not too fast pace and not too slow. I openly admit that i was crying from start to finish. :)
The story is set in 3 parts, with the first part being the best, but the others weren't far off. I was all but nailed to the screen.
Sadly with Phantom -Requiem for the Phantom- there's alot of plotting, planning, connections and names that you 'll need to remember, but to be honest when the story is that gripping its hard to forget.
Because the main story is based in the underground type world, you probably assume that this anime will be filled with action and gore. Luckily that's not the case, there is a good enough story line that it cancels out anything too extreme.
Before i finish i have to give my praise to the music used for this anime. It was amazing to listen too, and it all fit in so well with the different scenes. It takes alot to make me continuously listen to this kind of music, but after i heard it i couldn't stop listening to it.
Even if you don't think it's your type of anime, i seriously suggest you watch at least the first episode to experience how gripping it really is. I am always left thinking and reeling about what's happened after each one!
I can say without a doubt Phantom -Requiem for the Phantom- is MY favourite anime :)
