So, how do I begin with? As I am writing this, the LN series has over for a year. Since this is one of my first anime I really adore so mostly this post for making my soul move on once and for all.
This is, Fall of 2015, where you have big series like Noragami, One Punch Man and Haikyuu. They somewhat had been blown up and still be very memorable to recent date. And then, you have the three similar anime: Asterisk War, Failed Knight and Team 35. Let's put 35 aside and comparing the rest two, and I have to tell you, they
...
are VERY similar on the first episode. And, throughout of that time, there were having battle between fandom of these two and not surprisingly, Asterisk was the worse one.
Story and Characters:
Believe me or not, the concept of the story is great and have many way to utilize. You have the world after the apocalypse, the superpowers and the element that runs in your vein that will be unleased, that is cool.
But... Somehow all of the characters are having the mind of 12 with great flatness so it completely destroyed the series. Surely, there are plenty of way to asking where is your sister, Ayato (the MC), not just have to joining battle and win the meaningless tournament??
The MC only have two mission to join the academy: Finding sister and purposes of his life. Sure, maybe the only way is to winning it but at LEAST make it more difficult like asking: "Is there any way else?" But, no, he is so braindead that still that flat asf.
Also, it is completely pointless to helping Julis to win though. And with the cheery on top, the MC want to make Julis is his own purpose of life. Excuse me? That's not romantic, that is creepy.
With the rest of the harem, you can find its trope on any R18 sites, thank you.
No character development for them (and for the MC too).
If only the author was attention to his pieces and giving the MC more thoughts and more decision than just bring out your sword everywhere on the map, this can be a great anime.
Surely, this utterly making this high school fantasy powers with OP transferring male student having ultimate aura which catching some girls type disappeared from the anime map forever. (No, please don't bring Bahamut shit into this.)
Music:
This is the only reason I will ever watch it again, so good in composing and executing. The vibes of making the city on water with high-tech is so on point, giving you really live in that world.
Art and Visual:
A-1 and LN adaptation, name more of a destructive duo at that time. Yet, still delivering the worst AI model. Were they lacking of funds or what? Sorry, the cheap harem trope doesn't work. At least the main drawing is good enough.
Enjoyment:
I like futuristic cites battle like this. Hell, the concept of batting is also great too. It's just, everywhere is not good enough to be adequate. The only character I like is Jullis and her relationship with the MC.
Sadly, it was a huge boo. A huge mistake to make an anime to even compete with the one with the same genre. Failed Knights only takes 12 episodes to complete the journey, making huge steps, and completes its simple story, while their 12th episode doesn't finish the tournament. If it's just, just take it longer to patch out some obvious hole, wait for its time, then maybe, it will shine.
Thank you for the great memories, goodbye.

Yumemiru Danshi wa Genjitsushugisha - The Dreaming Boy is a Realist.
Do you expect some kind of good stuff and new twist to the romance, slice of life? Do you want some kind of reality slaps MC so hard that he will try to live his life again?
Too bad, this show failed to live with expectation. I have to HOPE that things going to get better but seems not possible.
STORY:
They just need first 45s to show everyone how the MC got realization is enough how bad the script is.
An average MC - Wataru Sajou (how many times we have to hear the "average" again?) who
...
deeply in love with his crush, then by accident he realize that it is no use to trying to express his feelings to his crush anymore. So, he quits following her, trying to relive his life. Experiencing new things, acting more seriously to her or just moved on. Well, it should be like that, at least, right? WRONG. But the more you progress, the more you disappointed. That MC, DOES NOT do that. Instead, trying to be the biggest fan of the girl. On the other hand, when Aika (the girl) notices the changes, what did she do? Well, being more tsundere as much as possible. End of the story. There are few more problem later showed on the shows, but there is only a little character development.
3/10.
CHARACTER:
Right in the beginning, the show does not tell the past between Aika and Wataru, like how things supposed to be like that and don't have a clear explanation. It's is really confusing and frustrating. We can just have to self-explain that "Oh, that boy is in love with the girl, but soon he realize that he doesn't have chances with her, he decided to be a low-key stalker". It is even worse when the girl ALSO have feelings for him. Yeah, tsundere. Honestly, I don't hate the tsundere type, but the plot is too bogus to continue like that. It can be much more well-executed if this is not a rom-com anime shows. And what is the best solution for this type of tsundere? Karma. No regret moment to be found for her. If life also like anime, then everyone with minus IQ still have lovers.
Do both of them have feelings to each other? Yes. But the way the girl shot herself in the foot in the relationship is quite absurd. She was expected that he would recognized that he was the one who she is in love with. Also, they both have time to stop and think about this relationship. Should they keep the relationship like this or clear themselves out? Hell, they can ask their best friend too, where is my wingman who solves everything? We need to see both of their minds, their feelings, their deep thoughts inside but as in Aika's POV, you clearly can see the naive the way she thinks.
There is only a few reasons for this.
1. This is the way they react with each other.
2. She only think that the MC is her best friend.
3. They never talked seriously before.
4. The IQ reduction when the MC talked to his crush.
The side characters are too vague, no one is remarkable. And don't ever let me begin with the how they showed up. It really feels like they just trying to made up a new drama and things to worked on with, then disappeared in the next problem.
2/10.
ART:
Just adequate enough. The underperformance to execute the story can easily be seen.
5/10.
SOUND:
Adequate.
5/10.
ENJOYMENT:
I overhyped for this show. It has a great concept to worked on, but failed to utilize everything. Is this a bad show? For me, yes. You can watch, but I am not recommend it. It is so irony that the one who tries to be realist and to be an example how you should do when you got denied by your crush in the most dreamy way as possible.
2/10.
OVERALL: STORYx2 + ART + SOUND + CHARACTERx3 + ENJOYMENTx3 = 3x2+2x3+5+5+2x3 = 28/100.

Over 10 years, we have seen so much anime with lacking brain exercises, hiding emotion from the reality. No overpowered main characters, no tsunderes or any kind of fanservice. Only some of the questions still hanging around in your head through time.
Does humanity good or bad at the first place? What is the crossing line for "good" and "bad" area? What if a system can do it and change whole society? Welcome to Psycho-Pass 1.
STORY:
I don't wait to spoil, but it is brilliant. The whole theme is trying to uplift the character surrounds it. So in short, great story that you should watch two
...
or three to understand all. It takes time, yes, but worth it. 9/10.
ART:
Well, it is not the top notch, nothing much to say. Everything execute well. 8/10.
SOUND:
If you are a music producer like me, you have to surprised that it is awesome. Both OPs and EDs are just lit, and the main theme OST? You should hear it. 9/10.
CHARACTER:
Tsunemori Akane, a new Inspector, is the representation of the ideal yet naive mindset that justice is absolute and criminals must be punished. She is smart and believe to hold the law to her heart close. Through the show, after experiencing more dark side of the society, she slowly developed through time. If law is not justice, then what is the right way to punish the criminal?
Kogami Shinya, an Enforcer, is also ideally seeking the justice. While he is normally collected and logical, his emotions cause him to act irrationally and puts him in danger situations. His detective skills are brilliant as shown in the story in which he will go through to reinforce his beliefs. What can you do if the injustice protected by the laws? He had done a bold move by killing his nemesis, removing them, making himself the enemy of the System. After all, he willing to stands against the system, and finally, he has freed himself from the darkness of the society.
And after all, we can see the clashes of the humanity, righteous vs injustice, different ideologies of mankind and Sibyl System, which outplayed your brain at the first time watching. 10/10.
ENJOYMENT: One of the best shows I have ever seen. 10/10.
OVERALL: STORYx2 + ART + SOUND + CHARACTERx3 + ENJOYMENTx3 = 18 + 8 + 9 + 30 + 30 = 95/100.

As the viewpoint of people who played Arknights for over three years, it might be different from others.
STORY:
To normal people, who never played the game before, it is quite bland. Because as the title, "Prelude to Dawn" simply the introduction of the series. So long story short, as a adaption, Yostar did a decent job. It's is predictable, just good enough to hold you for a few first ep.
But to Arknights player, well... It just acceptable so 6/10.
ART:
The animation is smooth enough, it describes the dark vibes of whole Terra, meanwhile backgrounds are quite unique. But it's still, mediocre. The side-cast are just bunch of
...
solders with very little animation. On the other hand, most of the main character are well-portrayed. But again, it falls short for imagining the "Doctor" if you are familiar with the game and wanted to compare it with your imagination. Solid 7/10.
SOUND:
The VAs did a really good job. Soundtrack is great, too, fits the vibe and the dark mood throughout the story, thanks to MSR. So nothing much to talk about. It's somewhere 8-9/10 for a decent anime.
CHARACTER:
Amiya - the main character besides "Doctor", is developing through series. Amiya, 16, is the head of Rhodes, will experience what is war really like, the matter of war and its consequences. And the "Doctor", nonetheless, is dissatisfaction because he feels... weird like the way he react.
Others are just good enough for their debut on anime. So somewhere 6-7/10.
ENJOYMENT:
For others, I think it will have mixed between them. Honestly, if you are anime lovers, this is quite bland and predictable for you. It's not that memorable, and honestly, re-watching it twice can be stale. Conclusion, if you can skip all that flaws, you can consider this season is just the opening, and wait for the 2nd season. So 6-7/10.
OVERALL: STORYx2 + ART + SOUND + CHARACTERx3 + ENJOYMENTx3 = 12 + 7 + 8.5 + 21 + 19.5 = 68/100.
