the story is about someone from Real World, being transfered to another world in order to save that world the concept is so much similar I think, even the setting of Digital World and Sound World is so much similar with all those zones and countries Shoutmon, Baristamon, and Dorulumon are designed by the concept of Music, and the voice of Xros Loader is really similar to melody of Guitar the role that Shoutmon and Strawberry Heart take in each show are the same, they want the protagonist (Taiki and Cyan) to save the world and use them as their command Taiki can do Digi Xross, so Shoutmon will become stronger, so he can become King and defeat Bagramon Army Cyan can do her guitar skill, so her Melodisian Stone will be shiny and has the power to defeat Dark Monster the differences are just in Show By Rock, the battle scene is shown in 3D (and in another form), altrough in all Digimon franchise (except X-Evolution), the only 3D scene is when the Digimon transform into superior level (Perfect & Ultimate)

first, both are colorful... really... both shares the exact real live story about producing (idols/anime), not some slice-of-life that ended with fanservice story or romance story, but these two are the real story about real life both shares the effort of being Producer, and how to step up from the very ver beginner as you should know, iDOLM@STER starts their idoling from beginner idols which is not-so coordinated each other to become Top Idols same for Shirobako, actually staff here are really beginner and as the series progress, they work harder as hard as they can, until they make a real great anime in both, we could learn anything about (idols in iDOLM@STER, and animation in Shirobako) ... and, this might not really, but... in both, we have Matsuoka Yoshitsugu's role as a great boy who're talented and nice

I've seen all series of GARO from the Live Action, and I found it a little bit different in the anime version... seems similar to Digimon X-Evolution if in GARO Honoo no Kokuin, all witches are going to be eleminated by people who're posseeded by Horor... so, in Digimon X-Evolution, all Digimon are going to be eleminated by spreading the X-Virus to the entire Digital World we can see at the very beginning of both, a minor character died, but these minor character are someone that the protagonist used care much about <= this is not a spoiler, because it's clearly showed on the very first scene at the beginning people who lived in GARO Honoo no Kokuin are scared of terror, so do the Digimon from Digimon X-Evolution but, there are some heroes who gain some amazing power who are going to defend them, and beat the enemy... in GARO, they are Makai Kishi... in Digimon, they are Digimon with X-Antibody

Yuuki Yuuna and Kuga Yuuma has a similar attack pattern such as demonic hyper ultra punch, that can bring down one monster in one punch... Yuuki Yuuna and Kuga Yuuma cares for her/his best comerades both share the same justice role and save people from some creature both transform before fighting, and still unmasked even transformed (lol) I just hope for some male characters appear in Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru, then it would be compared~

...then you might like Persona 4 the Animation add

I've never tough of this before, but after I saw some fanart crossover between Digimon Adventure and Persona 4, I think they're actually similar... Better you should compare Digimon to Persona rather than Pokémon, why? because in both Digimon and Persona, they're really share much similarities... 1. in Digimon, partner are chosen by destiny, same goes to Persona 2. the human partners in Digimon must get their crest and active it... in order to use the crest, they must understand what're their crest really means, why it deserve to be his/her crest? if they've understand it and take an action about it, the tags and crest will active... same case for Persona, they have to beat their shadows (means, their actualities, what they really are), make those shadow accept them, then they'll obtain a Persona 3. both Digimon and Persona takes the settings in real world actually, but... because of the case that happened, they have to be in another world and solving the biggest case there (Digital World and Mayonaka Terebi) 4. this is just my personal judge... I think Yukari from Persona 3 is really similar to Sora (partner of Piyomon)... and they representing "Love" the perfect comparation... Pokémon doesn't share all these, because of that, Pokémon is deserved to be compared to Yu-Gi-Oh which has Monster Summoned there and battle asign each other, and player are able to command the monster they chose by options... Digimon and Persona are not set for battling, they're all about survive and destiny.. also personality

Both started with 3 Main Characters Both share the same power source (such as "Courage, Friendship, Love, and Hope") Daisuke and Souji share the same tipical characteristic, such as careless, short-minded, wants-to-be-popular, also each of them has somekind of fetish that are really not ordinary in some Souji(Tailred)'s battle sequence in Ore Twintails ni Narimasu, it reminds me of Wargreymon vs BlackWargreymon battle

...then you might like Girls & Panzer add

people are roccomending Girls und Panzer for the first season of K-ON.. so I put the second, because there is Azusa in the cover (5-5 people, hehe) okay, let's start it... why I recomend K-ON to Girls und Panzer? first, the main character... Yui and Miho are seems to be so much clumsy, but Miho is more clever and Yui is more talented second, the group... in the case of Girls und Panzer, the school... they start the competition from the very beginning, step by step they hardly pushed their effort to become the greatest of all... third, item that the girls are using... isn't it interesting that you can buy the same Guitar, Bass, Keyboard, and Drum like what the characters in K-ON did because the item they are using in the show are the real thing... that modeled in 3D in the show?... that's also do for Girls und Panzer... the Tanks are real, they do exist and modeled 3D in the show well shortly, I see Ankou Team like HTT member with Tank, no musical instrumental items

their places took the same place, in Shibuya in ChäoS;HEAd we can see 1 boy with so much girls, but in Digimon Frontier we can see 1 girl with so much boys the enemy themselve also claim that they had surpassed "God", but it was totally failure that because they underestimate the heros/heroines the main boy fell in love with the main girl all chara combine their power to defeat enemy *nb: the way hero & heroines in ChäoS;HEAd combine their powers, it really resemble "monshou" (crests) in Digimon Adventure

...then you might like Kuroko no Basket 2nd Season add

Although it's no more just an ordinary Basketball... and really different from their first season, in this second season, they have skills, both main characters (Tomoka cs & Kuroko cs) have grown from a weakling who think Basketball is just a "game play" to be some professional who desire to win for the sake of their rival (Suzuridane for Ro-Kyu-Bu and Touou for Kuroko no Basuke) with some new character (like Mimi cs, or Himuro cs), their battle looks to be more interesting.. in my point of view, i have seen some sort of Ro-Kyu-Bu and Kuroko no Basuke's same chara personality like: 1. Keishin (which is Tomoka's Elementary School) = Seirin High School 2. the 6th grade of Keishin = Kiseki no Sedai (Generation of Miracle) 3. the 5th grade of Keishin (excluding Mimi) = Uncrowned Kings 4. Ashihara Rena = Kagami Taiga (both can do an alley-oop and also too much individualism emotional) although both main team has a coach which has an opposite gender though the players both has some comedy and gags, but also has an ecchi part... in their 2nd season, they have less ecchi but more coolness in the court i've seen so much blaming on both anime from Slam Dunk fans when their first season aired... though they just see these anime on the cover.. they think these just homo anime, but it's deffinitely wrong, these are cool basketball anime (if compared to that Slam Dunk, oh c'mon it's just a basketball)

Rin's peronallity is kinda looks like Aomine Daiki Rin & Haruka's friendship are like Tetsuya & Daiki's friendship... so as his talent, Rin is an athlete who had been practicing since he was a kid, and Haruka is someone who don't care about but love swimming so much those two are really similar with Kuroko & Aomine
