I was BRS fan since seeing and hearing the music video for the Miku Hatsune's song. After watching the three PV and seeing the various merchandrise that promote the OVA, watching the latest news, I counted on something good. I will say more - something great, or even better. But something didn't work out.
As far as school life of Mato and Yomi is still interesting, so much the scene in another world are simply boring. Fight scenes practically do not exist. It looks as if all the other fight scenes, for example with monsters or other characters, have been censored by events of the life

of Mato and Yomi. After some time of girls' school life we see BRS calmly walking around another world. It's just like it was all over. This feeling that you miss something...
What about characters? I love Huke's original characters' designs, but animation isn't anything special. Voice. Not counting Yomi, Mato and Yuu, there is total silence. Characters of other world say nothing. And characters names. It's funny that in the OVA was said only Yomi's, Mato's, Yuu's and BRS's name, but every fan knows who's this long-haired, horned girl with huge sword, strange hooded girl with mechanical arms and this curly-haired, horned beauty with scythe.
Music. Well... There isn't much music. I catch only a nice, short track at the beginning and the ending song is the only one that didn't disappoint me.
Black Rock Shooter totally led me. Anime itself looks weak and those strange eyes... First PV looked much better than anime. The plot is a onglomeration of events from the life of Yomi and Mato, unctuated with scenes of wandering Black Rock Shooter in another world. OVA dampened my fascination with BRS and I was very disappointed. Well, I hope that game and upcoming manga will use this potential, which OVA has.
