Classroom of the Elite and Oregairu are anime with school theme. Protagonists from both anime are different in character, but both are smart loners who can't fully communicate well with others. Their methods of solving problems are different, but they both do it in non-traditional ways unlike average people. They often have reflections on various problems, which they usually do not share with others and remain only in their minds. Of course anime has various differerences. For example Classroom of the elite is drama while Oregairu is comedy with elements of drama. Hovewer I think that it's good recommendation.

Kara no Kyoukai and Fate/Zero are anime with a dark atmosphere. Both are set in the same world. Graphic elements have been taken care of in both titles, making the viewer watch a lot of interesting fights with great animation standing at the highest level, which was taken care of by the ufotable studio. Also worth mentioning is the music created by Kalafina, which comes off phenomenally. The OSTs were perfectly matched to the atmosphere and action.
