I have never ran through a series like a hot knife through butter. This is one of those guilty pleasure shows you just watch and turn your brain off on. Skipping the opening, recap and ending (unless you like watching them) it makes watching the series so much faster and enjoyable.

Kenichi is the underdog and I'm all about him and his quest to be stronger. I loved all the masters including Appachi and Shigure, but my favorite of all them is Akisame!

Picking this up randomly from OTAKU USA on a top 10 list looking forward to in July I saw this title. So I read all 19 found online in manga rock etc or wherever you like to go and I'd say while the MC himself is trash, the girls he met are absolute dolls. One thing I will admit is the translation is funny, spot on, and teaches you new words. It's a smattering of ecchi that in each part where the MC is introduced to the girls' new fetish, you could literally write a doujin on it.

It's one of those feel good animes that makes you enjoy being with a cat. There's been a many like this series that mainly focuses on animals but the closest I can relate to this series is Inu to Hasami (e.g. Dog x Scissors). Both protags (a human gone dog vs. actual human who lost something special to him) relate in a way that they both love to read (and if the dog could) write books.
