Ok I am not a sports fan and baseball so long winded, however I do like this show a lot so what is its that makes it so good to watch?

Well for a start its more about enjoying something and the skills and having fun with major league baseball no longer has due to or other sports these days are all about money rather than a love of the game.

Anyway lets get back on track the main core characters are great an the story is well put together if the end was a bit of a let down but there is scope to continue the ... show provided they don't screw up if a second season is done.

Those of you who are think some of the character would slip nicely in to the Ouran High School Host Club then you would be right as at least two are have been picked look and sound like they have just been copied across. This is not a bad thing though as more shows re-use old characters from other shows and this is done well here.

Think of this like the Anime version of Field of dreams bad subject but great all the same. If you don't like sports or baseball I am sure you'll love this if you watch it it does what it sets out to do and is not over complicated.

So watch this show you might just love it.

Samurai Champloo is a one of those shows were you don't have to see every episode and the first few episodes you'll be think is there any reason behind the story. However there are some very funny moments some involving accurate history details with some very completely non relevant items that don't fit the the time period.

That said the main characters are very good Mugan I swear is borrowed from the samurai in Lupin the third. The artwork is amazing and overall you will find enjoyment from in most of the episodes as samurai manga/animes goes its not the best you'll find but has a ... style all of its own.

You will find yourself liking the main characters and wish the story had more relevance rather than the weak story line that guides the story to an ok ending. So to sum up the artwork is good the story is poor for the most part but is worth watching.

XXXholic is one truly amazing anime show and its one of Clamps finest works yet but clamps work just gets better and better with each one they do.

The characters are very lovable and the way only the characters relevant to each story are give full detail so you only focus on those characters.

The artwork is stunning and works well for the show. The English voice actors are very well chosen and Todd Haberkorn was a very good choice for Watanuki. Colleen Clinkenbeard as Yuuko is also a very good choice as she fits the character very well.

The music choice is very good the opening and ... closing songs are very good and suite the show well. Also the show is full of interesting little words of wisdom like little fortune cookie moments.

A truly great show anyone should love this show.

The street racing drifting concept gives Initial D a narrow target market and will get overlooked for being a specialized subject area like drifting. However if you can past its narrow target market you'll find it enjoyable and slightly addictive to watch the characters work better than you would expect and the underline character stories line are not bad.

With advent of drifting gain a bigger audiences a show like this will just gain coolness as it is better the fast and the furious however there was a Jackie Chan film from a few years back has a similar concept. If your not a petrol head ... or into drifting can there are still aspects to like about this show but there will always be that drift street racer dominance over the story.

I Like this show and has earned cool status well, this still will be car and racer audiences but it you should at least give it look if you have never seen it before.

Hail to a modern cult classic.

I did kind of expect a little more from Area 88 in the story department but the aircraft detail is quite remarkable. In one episode were Shin narrowly misses hitting a 747 with his F-104 suggest that weight turbulence don't have any effect, also it does leave the question if a collision could be avoid in that way.

The story has likable characters but has un-clarified story lines like why a mercenary air base exists and why they only ever seem to go up against Russian mig's. The Area 88 airbase acts more like a conventional airbase with regards to operation but mercenaries are ... suppose to work for who ever pays but this is not the case according to the story-line at least.

This could have been a very good series but it does not gel very well so you get a disappointing series to watch, its not totally bad that you could watch it if it was on but you would not want to spend money on adding this to your collection.

The only redeeming features is how stunning the art work is everything else is an affront to the genre, the story odes not make sense there like gaps in the information you are given about characters so have no real basis for how the story got to the point it started at.

So Shiguri is a show that looks cool but is just not, I'm sure this show will have a following but they are way better things in the genre to watch than this.

I'm a big fan of ninja and samurai stuff and a big fan the Ninja Scroll movie so was interested in the series and after watching the series can see why it is not liked. Now i did not expect it to be as good as the film but thought it might have been better than it actually came out like.

However I cannot fully dislike the series but I cannot fully like it either as its just luke warm all the way through, there is nothing grabs the viewers attention. It is better than Shigurui but not by much.

This series could have been good but ... fails, so so buy or watch the film but only watch the series if there is nothing else to watch.

School Rumble is one of those shows you look at on the shelf in a store and think that can be worth watching then you get to watch it and realize its really good to watch.

So what makes School Rumble good, well it has characters that are like-able and fun to watch that make the comedy factor work very well for the show. The story-line is a simple one which balances out with comedy aspect of the show.

Also it seems nearly all the characters have problems when it comes confessing their feeling for those they love and for Harima this causes some annoyance ... but fun comedy moments to watch.

School Rumble is a show you can watch again and again and never get really bored of, it shares this quality with shows like Ouran High school host club. Its a show you watch and enjoy without needing to think to much its about fun.

This show is one you should all watch if you like it or other shows like Ouran High School Host Club then won't be disappointed.

Peach girl is a a show that is not to sappy for its genre type and is only let down slightly by the male characters having eyes that look wired in a freakish way.

However this small fault aside the story is very well written and you soon find yourself drawn into the story, OK the ending is kind maybe a bit to fairy tale in its result you'll find your self not being disappointed by the story in anyway.

If you like stuff in this genre type then this should be on your list.

This works on quite a few levels, the first of which is the characters stories which are well thought out and you never disconnected to there struggles.

The second level is is the music which is the glue that makes this show special you could just like this show just for the music alone, I also like the fact that they reference most of the great in music history. Also every time the band play the volume level goes up like your at a gig or concert.

The third level is its look which is so right for this show, it gives it that rock kind feel. ... I am not sure about the ultimate band being achievable but you feel it could be possible with Beck Mongolian Chop Squad. I did have to remind myself that they were not folk rockers Beck although I sure Beck would love this to.

This show play to all of us who ever dream about being in a rock band or those who love good music after all rock and Anime never that far apart. It also tries to convey that in the modern world there is a lot of soulless pop, but if you look you might just find most of the best music never makes the charts and makes you feel alive when you here it.

This show is one that anyone who loves anime or good music should have in there collection, the work and love that has gone into it shows through and if you watch it you'll have a respect for that work an how technically hard it must have been to get right.
