This anime series suffers from significant narrative and character development issues. The first nine episodes present problematic scenarios, while the eleventh episode depicts characters making decisions that strain credibility. The plot appears to promote questionable relationships and contains inconsistencies in its storytelling approach.
One of the main criticisms is the divergence from the initially promised realism. Instead, the show follows tropes common to many isekai series, introducing harem elements with dubious justifications.
Several character arcs and plot points warrant closer examination:

Elinalize's character development: Her emotional journey regarding her granddaughter Sylphie lacks consistency. Her later actions, particularly assisting in a situation that could hurt Sylphie, seem to contradict ... her earlier characterization.
The duel between Luke and the protagonist: This event, meant to establish the protagonist's ability to protect Sylphie, is undermined by subsequent plot developments. The protagonist's actions during Sylphie's pregnancy, a historically dangerous time for women, call into question his commitment and reliability.
The protagonist's coping mechanisms: There are concerns about the portrayal of the main character's methods for dealing with emotional distress, both in his past life and current situation. The narrative appears to present problematic behaviors without sufficient critical examination.
Inconsistent emotional responses: The protagonist's reactions to potential loss of life seem inconsistent, raising questions about character motivations and priorities.
Relationship dynamics: The depiction of the protagonist's actions in his relationship with Sylphie, particularly his expectations of understanding after infidelity, could be seen as promoting unhealthy relationship dynamics.

This anime is the representation of what is wrong with modern. People are desensitized with pedophilic behaviors of MC and just simply ignore it. What the author tries to do is to put a literal pedophile into a wet dream where everything reprehensible the MC is allowed to do without REPERCUSSIONS. One really disgusting part was when MC tried to sexually assault one child the background music was playing a comedic sequence, YES you heard that right. And not only that, fans would try to giving absolutely insane excuses that MC wasn't grooming kids to be his wives, where we literallly have evidence against that. ... This is a self-insert wish fulfillment story that author tries to project himself into.

What is even more laughable that characters are just god damn awful, to the point that every single of them might hit on the head. Oh yeah the raping happened, how should we approach this topic. Just reward the rapist with another wife. Remember that if it tries to portray one of the medieval world, in which it completely failed to portray. Yes, raping is often something that happens in medieval age, and often without any repercussions from the rapist. However, this topic needs to be handled with certain care, not just everything goes well and we are family now. The psyche of the raped and the rapist must be handle with nuance and details and not come off some wish fulfillment isekai trope. This is exactly why this show is so repulsing. And it won't change I guarantee you.

Lemme tell another thing is that this show was marketed as redemption story, which was instantly dismissed when main character proceeded with having a grooming plan, sexual assault, stealing panties and many more, coming of this list. Yeah I got that. This is the redemption story that literal pedophile will try to write. End of discussion.

This is what you have as a completely generic wishfulfillment fantasy with questionable stuff happening to this. It pretends to be a story with redemption but actually isn't. If it wasn't for animation, this show would be buried under others, and be forgotten, as it SHOULD BE.

I am quite tired to see overrated chants for this show, when we all know that it is in fact a garbage show for any normal person. The only people who will call this "MASTERPIECE", will first try to use their mental gymnastics make excuse for grooming/molesting/buying slaves. And it is HORRIBLE. They also chant this show as grandfather ... of isekai, try to justify it's TRASH anime tropes. But the fact, garbage anime are GARBAGE anime tropes.

As has been seen in this season the animation was a huge downgrade. We see the results of this. Mushoku has been stripped to the barebone of the show, which is that is an incel story. There are numerous scenes that anime tried to make joke of but aren't actually funny (Torture, Sexual assault, Bully). It is really such a joke of an anime.

Characters: Your typical high school characters. Before character such as Sylphie was at least somewhat a bit interesting but now she is just a constant noise that I can't stand listen another word of her. That is not mentioning our star Rudeus, who is a complete incel that somehow got transported in power fantasy world where he can get away with whatever he wants. This show is nothing. Nothing about characters in this show interests me anymore.

Music: It has awful music. I disliked the music in this show. I don't really vibe with this show's music.

Animation: as mentioned before, animation is stripped to the barebone.

All that hype and build up ended up with MC grooming a minor. Yes you heard that right, the so called ReDeMpTiOn is MC having sex with 15 year old at the end. The show's only strong points are animation. Others not so much. It is the most overrated isekai I have ever seen. People who claim this as grandfather of isekai should be ashamed of themselves because it introduced all the things wrong with isekai. The amount of copium with "iT GeTs BeTtEr" is just absurd. How are people allowing themselves cope with 24 episodes of this catastrophic pedophilic animal.

This is an absolutely beautiful dream I had. It has very unique story which some people might enjoy, some might not. But I like it because it has consistent writing and absolutely PEAK animation. Frieren has a simple message, but what it deviates from others is how it tries to portray the core of this message. The execution on each episode is done spectacularly. The characters are just insanely done. Each character is very interesting, lovable and overall just a joy.

Art style and music are pleasure to watch. It has a very unique artstyle.

This is one of the greatest one shots I have ever read. It takes one of unique styles to tell a compelling story. We get to see Tatsuki Fujimoto insane ideas and a glimpse of his storytelling prowess. From chapter one it should hook you in with its unique storytelling and introduction. Sayonara Eri is meta of meta made by movie loving manga artist. One of the greatest traits of this manga is its panelling. Man Fujimoto is indeed a genius in terms of how he wants to tell a story. We can see his paneling are inspired by movies and you guess, it legit ... looks like a movie. I didn't know you can watch a movie from reading manga, but here you go, Fujimoto is HIM.

This novel is simply trash.

WISH FULFILLMENT
The author really wants to make this work as wish fulfillment making mc having harem and not really face any consequences from his actions.

STUPID CHARACTERS:
Characters' actions are beyond stupid. People claim these characters as interesting and believable, probably didn't read any books in the first case. Its characters are your typical isekai characters without even using brain or any emotion that a real believable human would do. And specifically female casts. These female casts are just insanely uninteresting. The more I read , the more I hate this book. The author tries to put a facade of some ... scenes that will make some people try to believe that characters are real, but for me they are not. They are superficial.

ED arc:
yeah you heard that right it has an arc about ED and people are eating as if it is the best character development.

What a massive trash. This season is just a disappointment from last season. This season is filled with meaningless cliffhangers that didn't add any value to the plot. Let's talk about buildup about villains, which are so miserable. The main antagonist being stupid and the other being a mentally incapacitated. The cops in this season are being beyond useless and don't have a gun whereas thugs have them instead. It's just so dumb. The brother deserved every bit happened to him, because for god's sake he can't even think for a bit.

I want to talk about the last episode, specifically, which was supposed to ... be emotional. But after seeing so many frustrating characters, moments and overall the pacing is so bad, such that everyone is just goons goofing around. It was enough for me. I didn't feel anything. Instead I feel funny.

I should mention specifically that I stopped watching this anime at normal speed, because it wasn't worth it. However, what surprised me, is that watching this in 2x speed still didn't the pacing. The amount of cliche moments and cheap cliffhangers was just so foul that I hated the whole season with passion.

The only saving for this anime was OP. Man such a great OP with unique concepts but a wasted potential on this anime.

The ending finale was disappointing.

I always loved AOT as franchise and was really hyped about the ending and how it will turn out. That didn't end well. Especially when it arriving to the conclusion, we got more irrelevant plot twists that made me disappointed of execution.

The whole Ymir scene was just pulled out of nowhere. Now after all the sacrifices made , you get the answer that it was all because of a girl who got Stockholm syndrome. It was very bad. I was just so emotionally disconnected from this girl after that moment.

The infamous necrophilic kiss was just even worse. Like why? It ... was going to be an emotional moment but somehow we got this scene which I don't know how to describe it. Comedic? Gross ? I really don't know...

However, we clearly know that the romance was the worst part of the story.

Mikasa memory: Mikasa is an Ackerman, so her memory shouldn't be manipulated, but I guess that's how it works.

Eren killing her mother. This single line managed to destroy all the emotional investment on this character. We got to see Eren seeing his mother getting eaten, wanting to take revenge, being betrayed by his friends, sacrificing comrades, disappointed after knowing the truth. All these character development was nulled instantaneously. All of these was caused by him. You reap what you sow. This made whole franchise unrewatchable. It is an atrocious attempt to make another plot twist that resulted in disgust of some audience.
