Kapon (>_<)! (Manga) add
Eerily predictable and wanting to be comedic when the mood does not call for it, Kapon is unsatisfying even for the die hard ecchi/romantics. It tries to be comedic when the mood does not call for it and is barely classified as "ecchi" when it has less than five PG-like nude scenes. The three volume series is one that can easily be found in bargain bins at Anime Conventions and would be lucky to be bought cheap by a foolish shopper who would be better off buying the similar in plot series Special A or likewise.

For fans of Special A and male-dominance/moe series, stick to ...

Mixed Feelings
I was tempted by the plot of forbidden love, as those always seem to be decent reads. But despite its alluring prelude of the two main characters kissing under a cherry blossom tree when they have never met before, attracted to each other "at first sight", the romance gets rather weak as it started too early and focuses mostly on whether they will "do" it or not for two of the three volumes.

Pink de Ikou! (Manga) add
As a series fan of Itazura Na Kiss I was tempted by this series by its "have to share a living space" plot. However, with this story is trying to be comedic when the mood does not call for it and pathetic, distracting art, Pink de Ikou falls short of being an enjoyable read even for the die-hard romantics. This single volume manga (with only four of the six chapters available on Mangafox) that is easily found in bargain bins at Anime Conventions and would be lucky to be bought cheap by a foolish shopper who would be better off buying the similar in ...

Preliminary (241/244 chp)
I entered this manga having little to no experience in involvement in a long-term series. Before finishing Hana Yori Dango, the longest series I had ever finished was Hana-Kimi with twenty three volumes. Hana Yori Dango, or Boys Over Flowers as it is known in the U.S., is a shojo manga by Yoko Kamio, who mostly had small works published in the weekly shojo magazine Margaret prior to HYD. The thirty-six volumes of HYD show Kamio's eleven year progression with the series, beginning with the transformation in artwork early on to the development of her characters, which began unfocused and one-dimensional to relatable and understandable. ...
