A distinctive feature of the all OVA series is the original plot, which in no way relate to the main picture. Thanks to this format, the author is able to reveal the main characters of the series and allow the viewer to plunge deeper into the universe, showing the latter some interesting aspects of the created world.
Initially, Mahoutsukai no Yome is a manga, authored by Kore Yamazaki, whose publication began in November 2013 in the Magly Publishing House Monthly Comic Blade.
The fifth volume of the manga announced the release of an anime prequel consisting of three episodes, Mahou Tsukai no Yome: Hoshi Matsu Hito. The
...
creation of anime was taken by Wit Studio. The series was sold on discs along with limited editions of the sixth, seventh and eighth volumes of the manga. The first series was also shown in cinemas for two weeks, starting on August 13, 2016. Let us dwell on this prequel in more detail.
The addition to the limited editions of the 6-8 volumes of the original manga tells about some events that took place before the meeting of Chise and Elias.
The action takes place in the modern world, where secretly from people there are spirits, dragons, fairies with which wizards, sorcerers and alchemists can contact. However, due to the urbanization of the earth's population, deforestation and the growth of the human population, the number of fairies is steadily declining, and for some reason wizards are on the verge of extinction.
The powerful ancient magician Elias Ainsworth buys at an auction for a huge sum of money the fifteen-year-old Chise Hatori, a girl with great magical powers, so that she becomes his student and bride.
So, Chise Hatori lived a life that was filled with alienation and violence, and also deprived of any form of love and care. Without family care and affection, the girl experienced all the hardships of life. Gifted by nature with magic, a girl once stumbles upon a mysterious library in the middle of a forest in which she meets a person like her, he also sees strange creatures and invites her to visit the library “every day if you like”, following some rules. Chise really begins to often come to the library, she enjoys reading and, after a while, she has less and less books to read, which is why she finds a strange book and asks the caretaker about it. Later it turns out that the man from the library was supposed to give this book to his beloved, but died while performing such a complex assignment. This is the main storehouse and source of the plot, and, in combination, the main collapse of the series.
The fact is that the drama in the plot is based on the absurd and stupid actions of the library supervisor called Riichi Miura. At first, his death can give some drama to the series, but in the final episode we will learn his story, and it makes you despise and laugh at this character rather than empathize with him. The same feelings are caused by his beloved Mayumi Niikura, for the sake of which he tried to fulfill his promise. She says that she “loves the last pages of the book most of all”, hinting that she does not love her future husband. Moreover, she makes an appointment on the platform where her new lover should bring the book. In this case, it becomes very interesting what was the number of her future husbands in the list of her suitors, and how much her nature is false, if she could go so far with a person whom, in her own words, she does not love so much that she is ready to leave for another man almost from the wedding crown. I rule out a forced marriage, since the actions of the two heroes took place not so long ago, in addition, Chise finds Mayumi old at the end of the series and she already has grandchildren. Also of particular note is the stupid death of Riichi Miura. It is extremely curious why he chose the way to the station through the forest with ditches, into which he safely fell and died in it. Obviously, this is one of the most stupid deaths that I have observed in the modern anime industry.
In the end, we have a stupid, nerdy, clumsy, awkward hero who wants to meet a married woman. Hero who has been stupidly (but deservedly) dead in a ditch, while carrying out the usual request to return the book. And the shameless harlot, a wife who wants to leave her future husband, spit on all concepts of morality. Empathizing with these characters is very difficult.
In all stories, plots, films, books, if the author pursues a goal so that to his heroes sympathize, feel sorry and worry about them, then the latter must be done in such a way that the observer can see in them a piece of a real living person, a particle of himself or Something like that. The character must be in a stalemate situation in which there are no simple solutions, only then it becomes really exciting for their fate. But when my gaze is offered the fate of a whore, who did not have another love affair due to an unfortunate (and very absurd) case with a stupid man, it becomes not interesting for me to watch this.
As a result, the last scenes evoke an absurd laugh rather than a sad smile.

Putting an end to the story can be difficult if the tale in question does not have a specific goal or "output", in which case there may be an emphasis on key events in the series and memories related to the protagonists. Quite frankly, this method is not always the right approach to the end of the story, but in the case of “Last Game” it works perfectly.
I admit myself as a fan of the sports genre, especially basketball, because I know him very well, but I have always been very skeptical about the Kuroko no basket series and I do not consider it a
...
good representative of the sports genre, moreover, I negatively perceive the existence of special abilities in "Generation of Miracles" in the series, although I watched her throughout her release.
I can hardly be called even a close admirer of this series, but despite the disapproving look at it, “Last Game” surprised me very much. Perhaps it is mostly because of a little nostalgia, because the series itself came out quite a long time ago, since 2012 and in memory there are mostly good memories coming out, well, apparently, the person is so arranged that he remembers mostly only good things.
So, the film begins with the fact that the American basketball team "Jabberwock" arrives in Japan, which believes that "In basketball, the weak is not the place." Having played in a friendly match against one of the local teams and won an unquestionable victory, members of the American team began to mock the basketball players of this country. They decided that in Japan no one can play basketball. After this, all representatives of the "Generation of Miracles" gather to prove to basketball players from America that in Japan basketball is not worse.
It is worth confess that Kuroko no Basket could always well demonstrated what happens in the game on the court, mostly thanks to beautiful animation, good music and eccentric-looking characters. But he always sagged in terms of history, the motivation of the characters and the development of the characters in particular, however, in the final film, in terms of character, the protagonists finally turned out to be worthy.
Pleases that they released specifically the film, this favorably affects the format of the narrative, because thanks to this you can "omit" some of the moments and others things show in brief, the series always had a good beginning, but later it was exhausted throughout the episodes, in the film it's completely different, it's interesting to watch him, for the most part because of the fact that we have a whole picture and nothing breaks out from the context of the narrative.
Despite the fact that 90% of the film is a game between the two teams, because of this that the characters turned out to be quite satisfactory. Of course, we are watching the finale of the series, so you need to put a kind of a point in the characters , but it's always nice that let's say a rather frivolous and simple-minded guy took the right and optimal decision for the team at the moment, which you do not expect from him. But it is also noticeable how one comes to his inner ideal, such as Akashi Seijuurou, who was able to finally get rid of his alter ego and become "himself."
The sound and music are chosen very well, as before. The voices of the characters correspond to their appearance and are perfectly suited. And the moment when on the background begins to play "Against The Wind" almost makes me start a stingy tear, but again this is mostly because of nostalgia.
Sadly, but to get the most pleasure of the movie, you need to be aware of all the events of the series and be familiar with all the characters for a long time. This is main minus of the film too much influence on it has the previous three seasons of the series. Also, if you be watch at the whole series at the present time, that is, first, the first, second, third seasons, and then the movie, you can not get all the emotions that it gives. Only those who have followed the franchise for years will be able to fully appreciate this film.
For the most part, the creators managed to finish the series with dignity, and I believe that "Last Game" is the best thing that happened to Kuroko no Basket for 5 years of its existence. In fact, the film leaves a pleasant impression of itself, even to those who are skeptical of the franchise. Fans of Kuroko no Basket would probably enjoy ”Last Game” immensely.

The picture of the world, the image of the country, cities and people is transmitted not only through movies and books, for example, such animated shows as Mushishi, Rurouni Kenshin, even Gintama can perfectly convey the spirit of Japanese culture, thanks to them, people around the world have an idea of the other people and they traditions. I must admit that I gravitate towards such shows and I always watch them with pleasure. Mokke in this case is no exception and confidently replenishes the list above.
Initially Mokke is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by manga author Takatoshi Kumakura. Later, in October 2007, created
...
by Madhouse and Tezuka Productions, begins broadcasting the anime adaptation.
Mokke is a story about two sisters: the eldest Shizuru who can see the spirits and younger Mizuki, who in turn does not see them, but is very receptive to them. Mizuki is a big dreamer, always disappears somewhere and tells amazing stories that look more like fairy tales. Shizuru is serious, since childhood she is fond of herbalism and wants to assemble his collection of plants.
Mokke has an episodic narrative format and the plot is based on the interaction of the two sisters, and more specifically in the influence of the spirits on Mizuki and some other characters. Usually, having an episodic format, the interrelation of the characters is often lost, but this is not the case, the sisters of Hibara are similar in thought, however the characters they meet refer to the supernatural in different ways, therefore so the characters turned out to be very real and alive, that does not turn off any of them during the series.
Separate attention deserves the grandfather and his influence on the sisters. Shizuru and Mizuki are naive and young, so grandfather is always serious and strict with them. He is a kind of master in the case of supernatural things and their mentor, but the reason for his rigor becomes clear by the end of the series.
The music for the series is chosen very well. All the compositions are pleasant and appropriate, the opening is worth a special praise. Everything else corresponds to the rhythm of a quiet and peaceful environment in the series. Music evokes pleasant sensations and perfectly complements certain episodes.
The series is very interesting, in terms of production and mood, which is created when you watch it. Personally for me, Mokke served like a not bad source of inspiration, thanks to the beautiful views of the sunset from the hills, flowering trees and folklore in general. However, despite all the beauty of the environment, the characters faces are simplified to a simple style, which is noticeable in emotional scenes.
In general, the series is very pleasant and unusual, the mood in it is quiet and calm, nothing impels depression, there is everything here so that you can say with a smile, "But life, in fact, is a wonderful thing." If you are a fan of such shows as Aria, you will enjoy Mokke immensely.

Usually, the plot, based on the worrying of a teenager, problems in school, inferiority complexes and fear of recognition in love, does not cause much interest in the observer, primarily because of his banality. Often the problem of one boy or girl is offered, in which the author rests with all his strength and pulls it throughout the story, but here we will see a completely different picture, which, if not forced to love this work, but at least it will not waste your time.
Aku no Hana shows that reading means thinking through of someone else's head instead of one's own, which is what happens
...
to the protagonist of the Kasuga Takao. But for independent thinking, which tries to develop into something whole, into some system, nothing can be more harmful, as excessively strong influx of other people's thoughts, because they, belonging to anothers minds, will never merge into one picture and will not give unity of thought, but rather, they form a pandemonium in the head and deprive the mind of any clear view. The protagonist understands this not immediately, but after some incident that happened to him, when he forgot his book in the classroom and came back to find it. However, he discovers not only the book, but also the sportswear of his classmate Saeki Nanako.
Such a premise may, at first glance, not cause any special interest in the reader, but fortunately, soon show how much he (the reader) was naive. If suddenly, during the reading, you try to anticipate any events occurring in the story further, you do not have to worry, Aku no Hana will completely destroy your ideas. After this incident, the plot will be unusual and will start to unnerving. Very soon, thoughts come to mind that, something unknown makes us reading more and more, causing interest in the characters all the stronger. I'm not a big fan of works of this genre, as in Aku no Hana, but somewhere from the tenth chapter, it was simply impossible to tear myself away. It is difficult to convey in words, when the genre of the work itself, does not cause much interest, but at the same time, it becomes unclear why you can not tear yourself away from reading.
The aspect of humanity is that anyone who differs at least slightly from the surrounding society will be considered strange, and also in some way stupid. However, those who would be worth listening to, people notice only when it is no more, this is the stupidity of people's as a whole. Nakamura understands this, because of what she hates her surroundings. Life for her, there is an incessant struggle with need and boredom, as well as with other people. She expresses the idea that every person must follow the rules of society, while struggling with their own desires. The idea that each person is in the system of society and that each, in fact, does not differ from each other with anything special, gives rise to the topic of what people are easy to manipulate, which is clearly shows Nakamura.
Deepening in the characters is stronger, you can see that everyone has a huge flaw in the character. Thereby, transmitted the realism of the series. And the difficulty with which the protagonist will experience his past, once again makes us understand that a person, usually, finds joys far below, but suffering is far higher beyond his expectations. After all, Kasuga almost never remembers happy memories, everything that will surround him in the future is suffering, although every single misfortune in general is a rule. So, all the events that happen to him and Nakamura bring him to the truth. It follows that we do not notice and do not delve into all that is done in accordance with our will, and in order to turn our attention, it is necessary that the circumstances come across some obstacle, which Kasuga faced. Therefore, I do not know the greater absurdity how to think that everything that happened to the protagonist is evil, on the contrary I evaluate this as something positive and even in some way I envied Takao, because what happened to him made him feel itself. And later he realizes that the agony of existence is promoted by many circumstances, and most important of them is boredom, it stands behind every perfect action.
Analyzing Nakamura's stance that all people are shiteaters and perverts, we can make up some phrase, namely "Everything that is natural, therefore, is bad, and that's why it is bad, which is natural." In other words, when evaluating any human individual, one must constantly keep in mind that the basis of it, is something that is imperceptible to the ordinary eye, something perverted. And it can be understood. After all, if you think and take into account that life, in its essence, is a state of need, and often disasters, where everyone must harass and fight for their existence, therefore she (Nakamura) can not accept a friendly face expression, but only occasionally gloating smile.
Taking into account the social component in Aku no Hana, one can reason as follows. What, be great person (Nakamura) and live among the miserable rabble, it's almost synonymous, these are two expressions for the same thing, people like Nakamura are almost always doomed to loneliness. I would like to disassemble each of the main characters in order.
The first is Saeki Nanako, who belongs to the category of those who can not move on, except in the company of someone else. She tries to hide the imitation through of the imaginary originality, which, in general, does not go beyond the order and presentation.
The second is Kasuga Takao, he is in general almost the same as Nanako, what attracts him initially to her, but he has the ability to judge and he still tries to walk on his own feet through by stupid reading of books which he not understand . In other words, "a fool is tailored in his own way."
The third is Sawa Nakamura. She is in some ways an exception to the whole society. Perhaps her position, in relation to everything is not correct, although I do not think so, but it primarily thinks on its own, and therefore, "a priori", stands above others. She genuinely does not care about someone else's approval, although, as it is learned later, she will be very glad to meet Kasuga, thinking that he is definitely of equal level with her, although this is completely wrong.
All this is evident in the actions of the characters. Nanako tries to imitate Nakamura, and Kasuga, in turn, runs after her, hoping to understand and realize what kind of person she is, although Sawa herself does only what she wants, which is certainly worthy of respect.
A happy ending is always very difficult to make original and I thought until the last that in this work everything will end if not bad, then probably the end would put a big question on the continuation of the fate of the characters. But everything turned out not so. In the manga is a good enough and full-fledged end, it can be called happy. Although taking into account all the things for which Nakamura spoke and tried to convey, to see her at the end of an ordinary, obedient and decent member of society is a little sadly. But we can not say that she is broken, because it should be understood that when someone stands at the top one, and others can not rise to him, then he should, if he does not want to be alone, to go down.
The conclusion to this series is definitely ambiguous. I can not advise this to any people, since in order to fully understand all that is said here, one needs to be at least a little familiar with the literature and even the language of philosophy as a whole. However, I can say with confidence that reading this, you will not waste time in vain, and what you will learn from this, and what position you will follow, this is not particularly important at all. Manga is read with interest, therefore, even if you do not understand the whole point of her message, at least you will touch a work that stands at the level of art. And if someone does not understand the essence of art, then he must stand in front and wait until the picture or voice inside, does say something to him.
And yet, Aku no Hana, written primarily for criticism, the untrained eye will not be able to fully appreciate the completeness of this work. However, anyone can try to somehow present his own vision of the picture.

I want to warn at once that this review is not intended for make angry fans of this series but may not be entirely objective, it is written in order for you to pay attention to some things that in my opinion are not entirely clear.
A little bit away from the topic, I want to say that I did not read the manga (At the time of writing the review) and, perhaps, I do not know some of the subtleties of the plot, but since we are offered an anime adaptation, let us stop specifically on it.
*UPD*
I've read the manga and I can say with
...
certainty that Koe no Katachi has one of the worst anime adaptations in the context of story transfer and characters. And I advise everyone to read specifically the manga, because the differences between anime and manga in this case are global.
----------------------
Initially, Koe no Katachi is a manga, written by Yoshitoki Ooima in 2013. Manga was a huge success and has many fans, so the famous studio Kyoto Animation is taking up the creation of an anime adaptation to this work.
Well, all the stories related to the school, bullying of classmates and the period of growing up of children are always subject to stamps and standards, therefore, having touched upon such themes, creators should act very subtly in order to avoid the same standards and repetitions, which have already been told a lot in other works.
Unfortunately Koe no Katachi could not avoid this. The authors could not avoid all that usually happens in these genres (Drama, Romance, School, etc.) The exception was not possible.
The story tells on behalf of the young man Shouya Ishida, who suddenly decides to commit suicide, dropping from the bridge into the river. In passing, we are told about his past, and specifically about the younger school, in which is transferred the second main character of the anime - Shouko Nishimiya. Here begins the sea of banalities and cliches. Of course, it turns out that the newly arrived girl has a pathology, she is deaf (which, of course, is not surprising, because we were clearly told that we are dealing with drama). Classmates begin to mock the deaf girl, in their opinion, because of her they have troubles and in the center of all this the main character. Not entirely understandable reasons for bullying,(which, of course, can be justifed by a small age) bring Nishimiya to a nervous breakdown and she is transferred to another school.
After, the narration continues on behalf of the same teenager, but already a high school, he accidentally meets that very deaf girl and gives her notebook from junior school. We see that karma is not slumbering and for all the mockery in the past we have to pay. With Ishida, no one talks and he does not have friends, because of what he is thinking about making friends with Nishimiya.
This is the basis of the whole plot in Koe no Katachi, the interaction of two, sometimes several characters on the screen. The main problem is not even in the banality of the story itself, but in the characters. The fact is that all the characters that are present in the film are represented by some moral freacks (except Nagatsuka, Sahara and Nishimiya sisters). All the characters surrounding the main character have disgusting natures, who at any opportunity throw their guilt on someone else. In general, it is not surprising why Ishida was such a bully in the past, because there were only hypocritical creatures around him who always judge others. And this is observed throughout the whole film, throughout all story we see only the worst and stupid sides of the characters.
The mother of the protagonist who burns the one and a half million yen that her own son earned with sweat and blood, the purpose of this is to prevent a suicide attempt once again. Not only that the burning of money has nothing to do with suicide attempts, in my opinion, this would only have pushed him to suicide. But after that she just apologizes and everything is fine already.
A girl from a junior school who pursues the generally misunderstood goals of communicating with Ishida, with stupid hatred from childhood to Nishimiya. Naoka Ueno is the worst character in the series. She always aims to blame, or deceive someone from her environment. It's not at all clear why she suddenly is constantly in a company in which (in her own words) is disgustingly and blames other people for it, just like all the other characters in the series. She just comes to the protagonist and says she wants to be FRIEND with them, although five minutes ago she took the Nishimiya's hearing aid, with the goal of "having fun just like OLD TIMES."
Ginger retard, which is absolutely silly appeared in the film. The hypocrite girl Miki Kawai simply said that the ginger boy wants to be friends with you! You just imagine this in a real high school, in my opinion, it's from the fantasy genre. Satoshi Mashiba has almost no screen time and is not completely revealed as a character although he also condemns the protagonist and calls him an ugly person, well, apparently has every right to say so.
Episode when the protagonist-rag finally said the whole truth about everyone in the face, because of which everyone, of course, offended. So what we see, lying, hypocritical guys, ready at any time to blame someone else is the basis of Koe no Katachi, because in the end all will live together and happily.
And, of course, what is missing to complete the stamp? This is certainly a threat to the life of the main characters! What finally destroys all hope for interesting twists and turns in the plot. The decision of Nishimiya to commit suicide is so surprising that it is impossible to convey in words (no). This is so expected that at the time of her departure from the festival, the viewer is already know, you can imagine the sequel: A-or he saves her, B-or she dies and we all "weep" (the point A wins). There are a lot of silly moments in the film, you can find fault with everything, of course you can omit some points for example that the main character quietly got out of the hospital chamber at night, in his pajamas, and he knew exactly that Nishimiya at this time on the bridge, on this is usually not paid attention to, but this are too many in Koe no Katachi.
I think there's no point in discussing Art and Sound, the Kyoto Animation studio was doing the adaptation, here everything was done at a high level.
So, the conclusion to this series is very sad, for me. Since I was very much inspired by the recent feature film Kimi no Na wa, I want to draw a parallel. If the genre Supernatural is specified in the Kimi no Na wa, which explains the connection between the characters, then in Koe no Katachi this is not, and the narrative in Kimi no Na wa itself is not so boring, the result there is a completely logical picture of the plot. There are not so many characters there, but this is not necessary in feature films, but they cause my excitement for them, in Koe no Katachi they cause only a lot of questions with their strange actions and views on "friendship". In the end, we have a standard whiny drama, which is derived from nothing, a bunch of frankly bad characters and the protagonist is a rag. The cocktail does not taste very much, nothing surprising is shown, although the potential was great.
Thanks Koe no Katachi for teaching the "real" friendships.

Stories associated with criminal groupings are always very popular with the public, as they usually arouse interest in all age groups, from teenagers to mature people. The creators that touched this theme, usually win, at least in marketing, because lure the viewer is not difficult.
So, as far as I know, inspired by the films of Quentin Tarantino and Guy Ritchie, the Japanese writer-programmer starts work on his own criminal composition – Baccano!
Initially, Baccano! - is a series of books in the format of light novel, authored by Ryohgo Narita, with illustrations by Katsumi Enami. Later, in 2007 in Japan studio Brains Base released an
...
anime adaptation, on it we will stop in detail.
Of course, the unusual format and criminal atmosphere of America of the 20th century beckons the viewer, but more importantly, how the creators will work out very important details. Much more important is that inside this beautiful and inviting “shell”. After all, it is very important to create an atmosphere that is original and memorable for the viewer, while avoiding banalities and repetitions.
Well, Baccano! - a really strange phenomenon. 30th years, the United States, the Great Depression. America of the 30's is a separate universe, with its unique fashion, music, good and bad guys, morality and worldview. A train approaches New York, on board which strange people started bloody showdowns. Gangsters walk on streets of the city, a young girl is looking for her missing brother, who in conflict with the mafia. All this is extremely confusing and catches the viewer suddenly. Story begins to show from the middle, after, it gradually complementing with elements from the beginning and ending. The first few series of the series are difficult to watch, as the viewer does not understand much, but here help atmosphere and style, mentioned above. Thanks to them, Baccano! still looks interesting.
Baccano is a wonderful absurdity on the verge of reality, where immortality is not surprising. Here, a whiny and cowardly lad became the founder of a dangerous and influential gang, and a crazy killer who has need for endless murders has the purest romantic feelings. That a couple of rustic talkative thieves in fact, without knowing it, bring good and positive to the whole world. And this is all told in the first episodes. The viewer is simply a participant in the turmoil, like a journalist. This series boasts a variety of different characters, with individual stories, interlacing in one place. The characters are worthy of special attention, so about them in order:
Isaac and Miria - inseparable and comical a pair of thieves, always falling into the woes, the basis of all humor in series. They, without knowing it, carry only good and joy with their actions. With confidence I can say that this is one of the best, or even the best of the duets of characters in general. Even the not very interested viewer will remember this couple first. A pair of cheerful, eccentric amateur thieves, their actions and charisma will remain in the memory of anyone for a long time.
Jacuzzi Splot is a shy and polite gang leader. He is easily frightened, but he is capable of exceptional courage and leadership abilities when the situation demands it. The second most important character, in my opinion. The manner of his actions causes a lot of questions, at first it is not quite clear who he is, so he becomes even more interesting.
Firo Prochainezo is one of the young members of the Martilo family. The boss of the family Martilo takes him to the family. Firo is a handsome and proud guy with his own principles and views of the world. He plays a very important role in the series.
Ladd Russo is a sadist, a mafia killer. At first glance it seems that Ladd is a white-haired psychopath who knows nothing but how to kill, but it's not. Ladd is very fond of Lua and expresses it through a promise to kill her, slowly, after he slay everyone else.
About the characters can talk for a long time. Listed the most memorable, in my opinion characters, I want to say that the of these characters and is a small problem of the series. On the screen flashes a huge number of people, and the story is narrated as a puzzle, it is very easy to get confused, which can cause rejection to the series. Patience and memory are required from the viewer, since the whole picture of the story will only take shape in the final series.
The atmosphere of criminal America of the 30s, of course, is best conveyed by music and soundtracks to the series. The theme is chosen perfectly, so it's easy to choose sound compositions, they fit perfectly and reflect the entire character of the series. Noisy and rhythmic compositions perfectly express the hype around. And of course, can not do without jazz. At certain moments, on background is played by a magnificent and melodic jazz, perfectly conveying the atmosphere of the bar or restaurant. Give people mafia hats, restaurants, Thompson guns and add to it great music - the effect will be stunning.
No less important is animation in the series. Art made is executed at a high level and in especially important moments of the series you can see its beauty. Characters are made in an original style and each one stands out. The movements of the heroes are bright and dynamic. The surroundings are shown beautifully and reliably. The poor, criminal neighborhoods of America, bars and restaurants, mafia mansions and so on, all this causes a pleasant sensation in the viewer's soul.
So, what is the result? Baccano! - is a cocktail of genres: action, fantasy, mystery, adventure. And I will not say that it's bad, everything turned out pretty well. Bright and interesting characters, a dynamic and unpredictable plot, as well as a lot of good and smart humor.
Baccano! Definitely has its charm. This, at least, can surprise and worth your time and your viewing, you will not regret it.
*WARNING* Here review end, and below will be a lot of spoilers. This is a brief description of the plot, perhaps someone missed something, because to understand everything is difficult enough.
As I understand it, the story begins on the ship, in 1711 a group of alchemists using a spell summon a demon to get the elixir of eternal life. The demon gives them it, as well as a way to stop their existence (those who have received the gift can "devour" each other) and gives the caster of Maiza the formula of the elixir. Maiza and most alchemists decide that what happened must remain between them, only Szilard opposes. The next night, people on board begin to disappear, devoured by Szilard, realizing that, to stay together can not, the alchemists scatter around the world.
In New York in November 1930, Szilard recreates the elixir, but it is stolen by Dallas Genoard. The elixir is constantly moving around the city because of Dallas, the Gandor brothers, the two eccentric thieves Isaac and Miria, Firo and the Martilo family, but almost none of them understand what it is. Szilard makes Dallas incomplete immortal (he is still getting old, but can not be killed) to get the elixir. However, the Gandoras, Firo Prochenso, Martilo, and Isaac and Miria accidentally drink an elixir. Firo falls in love with the daughter of Szilard, the homunculus Ennis. After she betrays her father and tells Firo how to defeat Szilard. The Gandors roll Dallas into cement and throw it at the bottom of the river to punish him for killing family members.
At the end of 1931, the Gandors struggled with the Runoratas family to manage the same area. In an attempt to resolve the situation, Luck Gandor asks his foster brother Claire Stanfield, the legendary murderer, to come to New York. Claire agrees and settles on the transcontinental train as a conductor. The train is captured simultaneously by Russo and Lemure gangs, between which there are fights. Meanwhile, the Jacuzzi Splot, and his gang is trying to protect the passengers (by the way, I still do not understand how Jacuzzi and company have appeared in a train), while Clare portrays a monster that kills train passengers. The last remaining members of the Lemures are defeated by the Jacuzzi gang. The train arrives in early 1932.
Meanwhile, Eva Genoard is looking for her brother, Dallas, talking to Luck Gandor, who is still angry because of the murders committed by Dallas. However, later Luck secretly tells Eve where the brother is.

Many people perceive the combination of genres "School" "Romance" and "Drama" as usual "stamps" in the anime industry, and this is understandable, since often such shows are filled with a lot of banal events. Having started watching Cross Game, a skeptical viewer, most likely, will be pleasantly surprised. It is pleasant to realize that already the genre in which, it would seem, it is impossible to find anything new, there are some exceptions that not only make it interesting to watch what is happening, but also in certain events can surprise.
Story tells about a boy named Kou Kitamura and four sisters of Tsukishima living with
...
him in the neighborhood. The sisters are called Ichiyou, Wakaba, Aoba and Momiji. Wakaba and Kou were born on the same day in the same hospital. They are so close that Wakaba refers to Kou, as to his boyfriend, although Kou does not think so. Aoba, who is younger than Wakaba for a year, dislikes Kou for the fact that he, in her opinion, is trying to take her sister away from her. After, Kou and Aoba are gradually converging and are striving to realize the Wakaba dream - to see their play at the school championship on baseball, held at the stadium Koshien.
Cross Game is a story about a hard-working young man and a talented girl who is very fond of baseball. Without excessive pathos, with the charm inherent in the classic anime, this series tells about the most important things. Story is relatively simple - like the plot of most films about human relationships. The series covers a rather large part of the narrative, it describes more than five years of life of the main characters. It should be noted that, with the "Slice of life" genre, every episode of the series looks with interest, the narrative does not break into events that are not necessary for the viewer. One of the main advantages of this series are the characters, let's move directly to them.
As it should be, in the works of Adachi, his certain style of art is preserved and it is on him that should be paid the main attention. Thanks to his own style of drawing, such amazing characters are obtained. Simply painted on the outside, similar in appearance to each other characters, inside are very deeply worked out, which causes a pleasant surprise.
At the beginning of the narrative, Kou is a fifth-grade pupil of primary school, and later goes to Seishuu High School. Since his childhood, he spends a lot of time with Wakaba, and their families look at them as if they were a couple. He does not show outsiders his interest in baseball and regularly trains in the center of Tsukishima, he began training since he learned to hold a baseball bat. The series tells not only his story: the plot is divided roughly equally between him and Aoba, whose interests are incredibly similar. Aoba is the third daughter in Tsukishima's family, she is one year younger than Kou and Wakaba. She a tomboy, very fond of baseball. When she was little, her father often played ball with her, and so she became a strong pitcher. Mysterious Kou and energetic, persistent, mocking Aoba. These characters give two visions of the same story. Kou externally amused and carefree, whatever events happen to him. But in fact, these events worry and upset him more than others. Noisy behavior Aoba is just a mask, she understands that thanks to this no one will hear what she really wants to say. This plays into her hands, because she prefers not to give out her true thoughts and feelings. In this series, characters can play a crucial role, almost not appearing on the screen. For example, Wakaba is not the main character, but her role is very important, in connection with what she means for the main characters. The genius of the series lies in the interactions of the characters, it is they who create such a living atmosphere.
Interaction of secondary characters, also performed at a high level. Here will not be stamped characters for waste of screen time. Every character will disclosed enough to make you remember them. This is surprising, because, as mentioned earlier, from such genres you usually expect standard stamp-characters.
It is worth paying attention to the humor. It is very important to present it at a certain moment. The main thing in humor - this is the right time for filing, with which Cross Game handles perfectly.
As for sound and music, everything is done at the highest level here. Soundtracks perfectly match the atmosphere of the show. Energetic and cheerful sounds, at some point in the series can be replaced by sad and melancholy pianos, which perfectly convey the mental state of characters.
And yet, the anime has a sport genre, which is one of the most interesting, as it always "unties the hands" of the creators. Due to his correct representation, he constantly keeps the viewer in suspense. That is, in addition to the personal relations of the characters, the viewer is also interested with the sports component, since the combination of the two genres "Slice of life" and "Sport" is just perfect.
So, how much on your memory do you remember such kind, unpredictable and touching stories? How many times have you been given the opportunity to follow the story of the character since his childhood, and so that it was interesting? Cross Game having a simple look, with a kind of banal genres, completely inverts the notion of them. This is new word in the anime industry, to repeat such an ideal combination of genres will be very difficult. Also, with confidence, I can say that even if you are not a big fan of baseball (or not at all fond of them), you will still be interested in this series.
This is the best sports romance of all time. Take time for Cross Game.

"The festival like world, had slowly settled to a leisurely pace. To think that an era... came to its twilight so pleasantly. I think i will continue... watching this twilight world...as long as time flows".
Nothing remains motionless; all - whether quickly or quietly - moving, mutating, turning, hesitating between being and non-being.
The world is conceived as a single stream, eternal emergence and disappearance: some things go away, others come; some blossom, others wither and dry up; some become stronger, others weaken; The wet dries, the dry moistens; some things are created, formed, others are destroyed. Formed with time again transformed. Everything gradually passes from one
...
state to another. Appearance and disappearance, life and death, birth and death - being and non-being constantly pass into each other. Change, origin, disappearance is an endless process of transition from non-existence to being and vice versa: something that does not exists - begins to exist or disappears what it was. Everywhere birth and everywhere death.
So, Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou - popular manga in Japan and abroad, written by Hitoshi Ashinano.
Format:
Manga written in a laconic style that allows you to take it to the works of literature. In some chapters completely absent dialogues, and the feelings and the atmosphere transmitted only by graphically. And this is one of the basic qualities and features of manga. Melancholically and succinctly, this original style quickly hypnotizes the reader, plunging it into this amazing world.
Story:
The story takes place in the distant future after an unknown disaster. The main character - woman-robot Alpha, which looks exactly like a human. She lives in a small cafe, in which waiting for the "host".
Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou - is several interconnected stories that describe the world of Alpha. Humanity has reached unprecedented heights in the science and technology, but the cutting-edge of the city is gradually overgrown with grass and go under water. Motorways are filled with sand and crumbling. Sunset of humanity...
The author very skillfully portrays the charm in sad things, through the protagonist, It shows something that people usually do not pay attention. Alpha is a kind of a window for readers in this "era of twilights".
Characters:
So, story telling on behalf of Alpha, throughout his life, she meets other characters who, in turn, give her a new look at the world. The main thing is pay attention is how well the characters interact with each other, that is, they paid a lot of attention, such as Takahiro and Matsuki does grow up before our eyes. I can not call no one manga, where the characters revealed so well. This difficult to convey in words, how brilliant this idea, author shows the Alpha, as an immortal robot, thus creates a perfect environment for the disclosure of the other characters. Alpha - never gets old, but the surrounding people are gradually changing, this is the whole essence of the drama and melancholy, Alpha (and the reader) will see how things will change, all begins to fade, earlier civilized and noisy life.
Art and style:
Art is made at a very high level, although it may have drawbacks, namely in faces characters, but environment shown is very beautiful. From the first chapter of the manga, the first thing you notice - this is the beauty of the environment, some episodes are striking rendering quality and landscapes force to admire them for hours. Sometimes, even the simplest landscapes beckon his post-apocalyptic style, it is causing a lot of interest to details.
As for style, it stands out separately. YKK has its own invented by author the art style. Here we see the old technology, radio, gas stations, fields, all this gives tranquility and relaxation while reading. Soothing, unhurried, sometimes bitter pace of storytelling give set of different emotions in the soul. Style largely corresponds to the relaxed atmosphere. Certainly this is one of those things by which this work can be considered a true masterpiece.
Overall:
The conclusion to this series is very subtle moment, since it is not easy to mention all great aspects of such a large work (manga was published 12 years).
In summary, YKK does not belong to any genre to which it refers, but ideally show their best advantages. I think that is hardly possible to find such a deep and thoughtful stories related in one, except in Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou.

Look around you ... feel all this life that around you. Think about the change of seasons and look again at the sky filled with ever-changing clouds. Understand that all exists independently from you and not for you, but with you. Try to least once in life, believe in what you have lived and will live forever - as part of this ever-evolving world. Should we be afraid of death, if the world will not end out with you?
The joy of existence - is not the main goal in life? A method and measure, you choose for yourself...

Sometimes anime studios surprise me by their ideas, expertly hiding all drawbacks by the good animation and a silly comedy.
Give people great animation, with exciting characters, they immediately lose any logic.
I understand that KonoSuba is primarily a comedy, and talk about some sense, it's silly, because humor, in itself, has no boundaries, but humor in this anime it's a main problem.
Bitter talk about it, but humor was never been a strong point in anime, because comedy often try to limit in school genre.
The problem is that any comedy scene takes place with the participation of someone's girl's pants and mostly with hints Hiki generation. I
...
do not want to say that comedy in this area was inappropriate, but it continues throughout all ten episodes.
Since we understand this is a comedy, the viewer is immediately ready to be a lot of absurd things, and in this is collapse of KonoSuba . Showing himself with a humorous side, it continues stretch all ten episodes unchanged. From third episode, when we already seen all characters (about it below) humor is monotonous. All comedy scenes will refer to perversion by female characters and center of all this will be the protagonist. And of course they not forget to show shaking chest all the main women's characters, by the way, some of them even going without underwear.
The story begins with death of the main character from shock, he finds himself in so-called purgatory, where goddess invites him to get into another world, with a particular feature that he should think it himself. He chooses to take a goddess with him, and from this begins their way in the new world.
This world is built by all the canons of MMORPG, to earn money and increase, need to do out quests, with main target kill the King of Demons.
Although KonoSuba has a specific goal in mind, it is still have more episodic format, and this is second main problem in this series.
With its episodic format, some characters are not remembered, while others simply disappear without a purpose in series.
The four main characters, is actually pretty standard, they are arranged according by rules of the genre "Harem".
- Goddess Aqua, a bit silly, not wearing panties, seductive and sometimes useful, serves as a very close girl of protagonist.
- Knight Latalina is worst character, in my opinion, she has a masochistic tendencies that are supposed to entertain audience, perhaps for the first time and it will seem ridiculous, but KonoSuba repeating same jokes throughout of the anime. Not to mention that Knight Warrior is one of the most common characters in hentai.
- What regard Megumin, she plays role of so-called clown in the series. It's strange to talk about it, but it's only character who pulls this anime from the pit.
- Kazuma is a typical retard with flat jokes and do idiotic action.
However Art & Animation made at a high level. Environment shown is very beautiful, moments of casting spells, magic and other things made in good style. I think this is only thing that really turned out well. I dont seen a defects in animation of characters, each of them is made beautiful and attracts attention.
Music and sound, dont have particular drawbacks too. Opening and Ending is average, throughout the series is a good sound in battles.
But still, look for flaws in music or animation does not make sense, as I previously said that this anime hides all their flaws. And to do bad, then, that immediately catches eye, is to doom himself to failure.
Presenting itself from first episode, as a comedy, KonoSuba doomed themselves to failure. Comedy in this series does not improve the show, conversely only spoil it, by the end it becomes clear what to expect a clever humor is meaningless. All ways go only to a many silly dialogues, to depraved poses and jokes in "Ecchi" style.
Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo! - this shows how should not look comedy, it can be considered one of the unsuccessful attempts to make a joke on Hikki generation.

It's always very interesting to read manhwa, in which we have only 3 volumes and 30 chapters, as well as a huge number of genres.
So "My Heart Is Beating" published by Ha il Kwon in 2009, which is now known for such works as the Annarasumanara and although Annarasumanara published later than MHIB, it is most popular. "My Heart Is Beating" see into teenagers problems, which in turn consist in understanding between father and son and a strange fascination of swimsuits.
The story begins from the face of high school student Bai Sugu, it is a excellent student in the past has always listened to his
...
father. He has a strange fascination (or fetish) with on swimwear that inadequately perceived by other people, confirmation of this was in the school.
Later he learns what assemble a women's water polo team, where he can watch the swimsuits and even photograph them, and the story begins from this.
---------
From the above it can be concluded that this manhwa is intended primarily to the teen group of people (14-15 years), after this retreat, Let's look more closely at the idea.
Each of teenagers trying to find their place in life, based on the interests and priorities. But what happens if no one not understands his interests? That's the problem faced the main character. Such admiration of swimsuits, causing resentment of others.
The protagonist will experience abrupt exit from the comfort zone of the unexpected changing into a girl, new friends, a new favorite hobby, first love. All this exposes the self-awareness is not only a main character, but also the reader. In Manhwa raises questions over the actual problem for teenagers, self-challenge themselves in a society that can not understand you.
In general, I remained satisfied throughout the reading manhwa, but since here we have a huge number of genres, there are drawbacks. A lot crammed into a small story in 30 chapters, and of course the characters, involved here, smart beyond his years. Children say clever phrase, in 17 years they have more problems than adults. Lost hope, death of loved ones, complexes and much more. I do not trying to say that it's all bad show, I am only to the fact that in my opinion, not enough length of manhwa, for so many genres.
This manhwa shows itself as a story that will suit everyone. The manhwa was introduced a lot of different characters, so everyone can find their favorite. It have a nonstandard story, some interesting characters, romance, sports and a bit of humor.
"My Heart is Beating" leaves a pleasant precipitate, which promote teenagers to move forward and to open itself to the world, despite the difficulties that they will face.
