Right so here everyone, we've got Sekime-shinaide, Sekime-san–a nothing and I *mean nothing but wholesome* manga. It's a very simple plot; the same ol' high school romcom that most who read it can enjoy. Now I've read some other reviews here with low ratings and... I can't say they're completely wrong about Sekime-shinaide being quite typical to all the similar romance manga and stuff etc., but it actually gives a heartwarming feel. Of course that "feel" is pretty much subjective, however, this manga is really all just sweet fulff vanilla.
(Also TL;DR at the very last part btw- all the same, really =3=)
Story:
Sekime-shinaide is a
...
slice of life so what exact plot do we have here? None. It's just about the relationship development between the two mc's which is pretty cute ngl (however some may find it repetitive and boring, perhaps even annoying–but chill bro, it's a simple story so see it simply without expecting anything =3=..)
Tbh, I can't actually remember why these two fell in love in the first place ._.
There is absolutely no drama. None of the characters receive any backstories whatsoever, so this whole manga is literally: "the everyday life of a high school couple (consisting of popular girl and ordinary boy who blush in every chapter) and friends ft. a few adults and little sister.."
Characters:
The characters... are all nice. That's it. That's literally how you can describe each and every character in this manga; "nice."
Nothing very interesting about them. Th'all have similar personalities and not much of a distinction among any of them. It's not truly a bad thing tho- perhaps it's better than a super annoying chara who's there just for plot convenience. Well, all the extras in Sekime-shinaide are for plot convenience.........
But I did enjoy the relationship of Takadono (mmc) and his friends cause you can see they're real bros ig lol
However there is no amusing character. In my opinion, the author might've focused on developing the relationship among all the characters so perhaps, in order to not make things difficult, the result was like placing the exact same amount of delicious batter into each cupcake mold and identically placing each topping as it is– what I'm trying to say is, although the characters are good- yes, they're good characters- they all have the same amount of everything the other has. Just average and nice, every single one of them.
Art:
No probs with the art here folks. It's all good.
It's a cute style, kinda chubby faces and bodies. Simple and nice to look at (but not the kind I'd be willing to stare at all day unlike, let's say, JSHK/TBHK).
Enjoyment:
Certainly, I did enjoy this manga, without a doubt. All of it was vanilla, sweet fluffy, plain, cute and simple. Look, this story, Sekime-shinaide, was not meant to be taken seriously. It's a romcom for goodness sake~! Don't expect fanservice because here we don't have any–and that.. is actually what I appreciated the most. Seeing how most high-school romance have intercourse chapters, I was glad to see this one did not.
It was refreshing really, but it could have been more. The main issue is truly the lack of expressions with the characters, but eh. It's a smooth ride, and the relationship development between the main characters is good. It wasn't rushed and you can compare the Sekime (fmc) from the earlier chapters to the last (unfortunately not Takadono/the mmc..)
So I can recommend this, yes, but it's better to read if you want to relax. When there's nothing important going on cause you won't really get to enjoy it (unless your tastes are opposed to mine ofcs ^^; there's no need to try it out if you think reading this particular manga is a waste of time).
Warning you tho: "Sekime-shinaide Sekime-san" is only a pure innocent and completely nice manga–nothing more and nothing less.

Doron Dororon, a new series published by Shounen Jump. It's a pretty generic to be honest, and very similar to Kaijuu 8.
As there aren't many chapters yet, this review can't guarantee how good it could get in the future. At the moment, it's a common plot to shounen genres.
Story: 5 <
[ Our main character, Sasaki Dora has his dream to be a "samurai." Samurai are those people who defeat monsters called "mononoke." However the problem lies with Sasaki having zero supernatural-energy, a necessary requirement to become a samurai. Sometime after failing the test to be a samurai, he meets a very kind mononoke who is
...
called Kusanagi. Kusanagi despises the monoke for they always hurt humans (his complete past has not been revealed, so the reason is still unclear..) Sasaki, although has no supernatural-energy, has incredible strength, and Kusanagi, who is able to transform into a katana, team up to defeat the mononoke ravaging the city. Sometime after, they met Ginchiyou (a samurai) who later assists the two and the rest are spoilers. ]
Now, it does have potential, but it's extremely common. The pacing however is a bit fast, so if it turns out to be a long series, it could get better or worse.
Truthfully I don't expect much from it, for if the author is not too creative, it could get repetitive.
Art: 6
The art ain't so bad... battle scenes are interesting enough, and easy to understand. But if you consider the overall quality, it's not that good. Of course, there are times when the character's expressions give some impact, however, it's just up to that. It could use some work. Though I don't have any problems with the artstyle lacking, I only wish it could be better.
Characters: > 7
Well, I gave the charscters a higher score than the others lol
Hm, generic story with generic characters, tho they are enjoyable. None I could particularly say are worthy of being the top in my list, but eh. Good enough for me.
The thing I like bout the charscters here however, is that they're consistent and they follow their goals (still a common feat tho...)
But I guess they're fine =3=
Overall: 5 <
Now I don't think this manga will ever reach my standards, but give it a try anyway. A lot of people still enjoy these types of manga. As I said, it is similar to Kaijuu 8. Like really.. just tweak n add some stuff from Dorondororon, an BAM–! It's an actual copy.
Still... depending on how the author does it, this manga could get amazing or just fall into waste. It's a 50/50 chance, but no matter which direction it goes, I still believe this'll be successful for the genre is common yet popular. Personally, Dorondororon is a bit boring (probably cause I've seen types like these a lot lol), but if you just want to have fun, go with the flow, etc., then feel free to read this. However, it's not something that would come to mind when you mention "favorite."
That's all, thanks for reading. The review could get updated, or I might just forget. Lol bye~

A short review for now, but somehow, I managed to read 83 chapters in 2 hours. The chapters are quite short, but the story itself is very serious. The art style is very pleasing to look at. I believe most of the colored pages are watercolor, so perhaps the whole manga was scanned/made traditionally.
About the plot...
It's insane. A mentally unstable mother. A mentally unstable son. A mentally unstable girlfriend. Mommy is a compulsive liar. Her baby boy got some sort of disorder. And his girlfriend is really just crazy to some extent. Throughout the series, I was able to see these quite clearly with
...
provided hints from the author. It's actually quite intriguing and similar to the first few chapters of Oyasumi Punpun (at least that's how I remember it).
But damn the art...
The facial expressions are extreme. The way this manga was drawn gives more effect on the characters. With a semi-realistic style, I certainly love it.
Well I don't know if I'll recommend it, since it feels as if I'm gonna go mad to while I seriously want to slap the MC back to reality, yes this manga will give you a "Wtf" reaction most of the time. It's good though, if you like psychological horror.

Dandadan is a very wild story with aliens and yokai combined in one tale. The concept is unique and I recommend it, just be prepared for the usage of somewhat dirty jokes (like Okarun -male lead- losing his own "schlong").
~Story
The story sets out with Ayase Momo finding Okarun getting bullied for being a nerd invested in occult related topics and such. Well, long story short, she basically saves him from that, Okarun opens up to her cause he's got no friends and they have an argument whether aliens and yokai are real or not. So then they decide to challenge each other and Ayase almost
...
ends up being abducted by aliens while Okarun getting possessed by turbo granny.
Honestly thought it was going to be some crappy generic plot again, but jokes on you, they made grannies badass.
~Characters
Well they're not to shabby. Ayase and Okarun's relationship is pretty fun to see.
Ayase is a huge fan of this guy Ken Takakura and is constantly trying to find a boyfriend with the same muscle ton as him, but instead finds wimpy Okarun, whose real name is also Ken Takakura. And every time someone says "Ken Takakura" or any of his famous lines, she basically goes on a fan-girl-freak-out (perhaps it's used as a character quirk to lighten up the series -not like it's actually dark horror type like Another). Also, her supernatural abilities which she didn't have at first, awaken during the first chapter, just so you know.
Apart from that, we have shy boy no friends but is in development, Okarun, but turns out depressed and pessimistic, woe is me character when the curse of turbo granny is released within him.
Next is granny Dodoria, has supernatural abilities and pretty thicc even if she's the actual grandmother of Ayase.
Maneki Neko Turbo Granny (is cute).
Followed by popular and egoistic (and annoying) Aira who later in the series gains supernatural abilities similar to Okarun's situation, but through a "tragic happening".
And last but not the least, the most obnoxious one of them all: Jiji. Ayase Momo's childhood friend and first love. I seriously dislike him with his optimistic sunny airhead character (80% of the time, I'm okay with that, but he's just over the top) (edit: this guy earned my respect later on)
~Art
The art here is gold. The simple faces and extreme monsters, it is amazing. Now, there's a little bit of panty shots and naked characters in a few chapters, but not to worry! It's not ecchi. All these are relevant to the story. You know, an action scene wherein the female battles a supernatural her skirt lifts... but Ey, that's not- We must look at the subject, which is the monster. (Seriously tho, unlike other manga, underwear and boobs don't get shoved in your face when you read Dandadan)
~Enjoyment
10/10. Although for some, the story may seem in all sorts of places, you really shouldn't worry about that. Just let the plot take you into it's horror house via roller-coaster.
Up until now, Dandadan has kept me interested with it's funny aspects and sad backstories. It is possible you may not find it funny to use the disappearance of male reproductive organs, but the use of it makes the story consecutive. It's very wild, but it's been keeping very excellent pace. I recommend this, but I understand if you don't get to enjoy it as much as I did.

I'll be honest here: I doubted this manhwa very much. Having watched many K-dramas based on mahnwas, I didn't expect Annarasumanara to be any different. But as the story came close to its end, I realized there was a slight touch the author made which makes it unique.
FINAL VERDICT: 7/10
~Story: 7
+ keeps you interested at the most
- frequently used plot in manhwa/K-dramas
~Characters: 8
+ good development
+ all characters have some purpose even if it's minor
...
- they are cliche at start
- main characters have common back stories
~Art: 5
+ simple to understand
- it's too simple, as if the author didn't want to exert much effort
- uses 3D elements which make it pretty weird
+ but the 2D/3D combination is fascinating at times
*The plot is quite similar to Oyasumi Punpun
*One of the character's appearance is used as an interpretation of their situation
I believe the main idea was that you shouldn't let go of your dreams. It's hard to be an adult in a fixed society where everyone expects you to be something of the norm. It's hard to live in the world of poverty, when people with money can live comfortably. Even so, you can ignore them. Ignore those who tell you to be someone. You can still live and achieve your dreams, even if you're a nobody.
Just make sure you get to earn money at the very least lol.
RECOMMENDATION RATE: 62%
The story is good for people who can't decided whether to work big or start small. It's good to use it as a reference, yes, but I'd advice you to leave it as that. The characters here... not everyone can relate since it's part fantasy, and for the most fictional. Perhaps, reading this story can help you realize something, but give it a try anyway!! Stories like this were made for everyone to read :3

Although I can see most people saying this story is underrated, it's not. People just don't talk about it that much. Also, I am up-to-date with the manga, so I can say this much:
Story: It's not that bad, but not entirely the best. But one thing about it is that it's not at all predictable, unlike other manga series. Okay, maybe sometimes it is, but it's still good enough for me. One more thing about the story is that it somehow related astronomy and used their own words for it.
Art: It doesn't really suit my taste. It's a simple style though, which I can
...
easily understand. I can figure out how the fight/battle scenes are supposed to look like, which is okay. I've only seen a few colored parts in this manga, but it's simple and it doesn't hurt your eyes, so it's okay.
Characters: The characters in this series are likable enough. There are times when I slightly find some to be annoying, but it doesn't make a huge difference. The characters slightly relate to some people in real life, so I think it's fine. You can easily tell the characters apart, which is a good thing too. All their abilities are explained well and the way they think in this series is good.
Enjoyment: Personally, I'm really enjoying the manga series. It gives the right amount of twists and turns, not in every chapter though. Eh, it's not especially better than other manga series that I'm currently reading, but it's not bad at all. Although to be honest, I don't think those who like a lot of action would like this. It stays loyal to its "sci-fi" genre. The characters, plot, and how things work in this manga are well thought of, so it would be hard to say you don't understand what happened.
So, would I recommend this? It would depend on the person, but I think it's worth a shot.
