I really like and enjoyed Quanzhi Fashi but this Special/Season was really bad.

There will be spoilers in the following sections.

After starting the first episode you get immediately confused. Why? Well, starting without any context is not actually bad and can bring fresh air into a series. But the plot and especially Mo Fan are so different from what we used to know at the end of season 6. This "Season 7" however is skipping everything. There are no explainations or hints or just a story that makes clear what happened between S6 and S7. Nothing.
I red somewhere online, that many chapters were skipped for ... no reason. So the problem for me - as a person who never read any manga, etc. - is that I will be missing many chapters of story development, character introducement and especially Mo Fans development. From getting the Fire Fairy/Princess - whatever - to being a "super mage(?)" and controlling now 8 instead of 5 (if I remeber correctly) elements are sooo brutal skips. Basically EVERY element he is controlling is now on high end lvl. But how this happened is more than unclear.

What they did good was completly forgetting about the story between because the watcher is always getting the feeling that he or her has skipped something on accicent. I was looking for 30 minutes for a "real Season 7" and things like that. Realising that they just yoinked you was such a slap in the face.

Sooo in conclusion:
The story was... well, for me a 4/10 - I just could not understand many parts and was always confused. The characters tho were very intersting
Music was good: 6/10
Character development 2/10 - the characters more or less did not grow in any particular way. Mo Fan was just OP ass hell - as always..
BIG -10000/10 for the Story Skip. Was the worst decision ever. Left me so confused and I couldn't enjoy watching the series.

I don't want to talk about it that much, but as far as I have watched this Anime, I have to say, that I like the way the story is written. There is this typical romance stuff I am normally bored off, but the fact, that this is reflecting the otome game itself, with the protagonist annoyed of it the same way as me, makes it quite unique. It is funny to see him hating this world. He hates it even that much, that he decides to stop watching the otome-protagonists doing their storyline stuff and interrupts the whole plot. He mastered the whole game ... before he died and knows nearly everything about the characters. That is why I am hyped for the next view episodes, beacuse the potential of the story is actually good enough for a pretty good anime. Hopefully the author noticed that too.
