Possibly one of my favorite Shonen-Ai's along side Given. This series does things different than other Shonen-Ai's does and its very refreshing. I already loved the manga and they handled the anime so well.
I loved the characters and the anime made me love both Sasaki and Miyano even more, even the side characters like Kuresawa, Hirano and Hanzawa just lovable characters but I especially love Sasaki, his cute reactions and face just made me love him more and more.
The visuals and animation was really good not over the top, but they made sure to capture the mood with the right colors and visual even
...
the soundtrack was very pleasing to listen to so I have to praise them
They handled the story well and it didn't even feel rushed they handled every moment well, even adding little moments that were just extras into the episode was a surprise, but seeing that they did that was just very nice and I loved it.
Overall I loved this show and they did everything right I just enjoyed every episode each week. I'll be honest if someone wanted me to recommend them a good Shonen-Ai to start out with, I would 100% recommend this series along side Given. This show just has good representation of LGBT relationships and everything from the story to characters were just handled with so much care. So 100% I'd recommend people to watch this series its just a fun watch with great story and lovable characters you won't be disappointed, I'd recommend read the manga as well its just as great as the anime. 10/10 series!
Its over for now but with a possible anime season in the works (or even a movie) we have something to look forward to, so I can't wait for more, from this great show ^^

Umibe no Étranger this movie was great but of course its has its flaws but it doesn't fail to deliver on the emotional scenes. I've read the Manga a few times before the Movie got announced and I loved everything about it, personally the Manga is a 10/10 for me, and I'm gonna be honest the Movie was still great but I'd probably give it a 9, I'll explain in my review.
I'll start with the Story. So I've noticed they have skipped scenes and it kind felt a little weird in some parts and they rushed in some areas, and I noticed it because I've
...
read the Manga for it many times that I was able to catch on to that, but lets just say if you don't read the Manga you might think there is nothing wrong. My Sister didn't read this so she went into it blind, and when I asked what she thought, she loved it a lot that she would gives this a 10/10. So I'm not sure if its the same for everyone who didn't read it, but from what I see if your a Manga reader then you'd be more aware of the flaws, but whose to say. But still overall I still think they handled it quite well and they explored Shun and Mio's story well enough. And lets be real, when we all saw young Mio he was the most cutest thing ever, I'd just literally get teary eyed every time he was on screen. But I'll be honest whenever a Movie or even a show gets me on the brink of tears then I think they did a great job, hitting with the emotions is what we all want and some of the scenes in the Movie did just that, and for that I'm grateful and pleased with the results.
So the Art, not much to say I mean we can all agree that the scenery was breathtaking in almost every shot in the Movie. It was colorful in moments when things lightened up and dark in moments when it sad so they did and fantastic job with the art in the Movie.
The Characters, my boys Mio and Shun, they both deserve to be happy, and literally every scene in the Movie when they were together I couldn't help but wanting to protect them both they're too precious. I love Mio the most, he ends up losing his Mom and is alone until he meets Shun and his world becomes brighter and happier and he even ends up loving him and Shun accepts his feelings over time seeing how serious he is, and that one line at the end of the Movie where Mio says there is nothing wrong with liking the same gender, it's such a powerful message and I loved it. That's why I love both my boys Shun and Mio, they're happy together especially Shun because now he has someone by his side that he can always rely on now, he's not alone anymore.
Overall I still thoroughly enjoyed the Movie and I'll be honest I would give this a 10 over how much I love this series, but of course I'll be honest, if they maybe fleshed some of the story a bit I would've give it a 10/10 easily, but they rushed a bit and they lost a point for that. But everything else was perfection, the Art was beautiful, I loved the characters especially my boys for how cute they were whenever they were on screen, and the music was great. So I'd give this a 9/10, it was still amazing that I could enjoy this story again in Movie form with my two favorite boys Mio and Shun. So I hope you liked my review and the Movie, and if you liked the Movie you should check out the Manga as well, its so great I highly recommend it. Thanks everyone, I'm gonna now re-watch it again.

The Movie has Arrived, Thanks to Crunchyroll, my Sister and I watched it together.
Here is my Review about the Movie.
Just to Note, I'm a Manga Reader so I won't spoil for any later stuff, its just gonna be my Review on the Movie.
Can I just state that Given is a breath of fresh air when it comes to Shonen-ai series, I love Yaoi but at times you just want something chill with romance, something sweet, with a bit of drama and we got it. Of course the Movie continues from where we left off, and right away I was brought back into the story
...
like I haven't been away from it that long, and I remember what happened previously, so that was great.
So the Story of course is amazing, we dive into Akihiko and Uegetsu's relationship and learn more about them and more about Haruki and his feelings and how he feels towards Akihiko and himself and the band and just some of those scenes were emotional, you could feel it, especially with that Akihiko and Haruki scene in the beginning it hurt and you could feel the emotion, even those scenes with Uegetsu at the end just hurt so badly that you felt bad for him, and cried for him. But yes of course I would notice they skipped some scenes and one of them was with Ritsuka and Mafuyu and I was a little peeved but I was more in for the story with Akihiko and Haruki so I let it slide since to me its not a big deal, I can always read it.
The Animation, don't have much to say, the visuals for certain scenes just looked so beautiful especially Uegetsu's scene around the Autumn leaves it just looked stunning, and especially near the end the visuals just made it better, it look so good. I also have to say how well they made the characters look so similar to the manga, personally to me I thought that was amazing how well they replicated it.
All the Characters were just well done, but I already knew it since I've read the Manga so there is not much to say. But besides that the Voice Acting going into these Characters were amazing the VA for Akihiko, he portrayed his character so well in certain scenes that you could feel the emotion going in them all through out the Movie, and a big shout out to Uegetsu's VA as well he was great that ending scene, it was impactful.
The Music.... Amazing, Top Tier, Beautiful, so many things to describe how great it was. All this time reading the Manga I always wanted to hear Mafuyu's song and how it would sound and during the series I was blown away and in tears, and the Movie did the same thing. Right away I loved the song and especially the lyrics you could feel even the emotion going into it, and I have to give it Mafuyu's VA, it was just another great song to add to my playlist. And that end credit song... my god was it sad, it was amazing don't get me wrong but the song itself was so sad I literally cried half way through it, this song suited the Ending of the Movie so well I loved it, and its another song to add to my playlist.
Overall, even though I know they skipped some stuff, personally I didn't care. I didn't notice it until someone mentioned it, and you know what I didn't feel like they rushed it so that's good, and that's why personally this will be my rank for the Movie, 10. You can either agree, or disagree. They handled the story with care as much as they could, the Characters were fleshed out and they even made me feel bad and care for Uegtsu a bit, when before I never really cared much. Overall everything was perfect especially the music it fitted so well the movie and especially if it gets you teared up you know the music and songs are great.
So these are my thoughts. It sucks, it was short but it was great every second of the way. So I hope you liked The Given Movie as much as I did. I do wish it'll get a Sequel, maybe in the near future. Until then I'm gonna re-watch the "ENTIRE" Given Series again and then the Movie again. So if you haven't started the series yet and chose to look at both my Reviews before diving in to it, thanks a bunch I hope it helped you all like this series as much as I do. Thanks Everyone.

I was skeptical at first since this got announced way back, but I knew I was going to be alright with it even if it was just good, but tbh after watching the full movie (which is 53mins) I was surprised with how great it actually was.
I actually got the LN not to long ago and read it and I loved it, and so I was fully prepared to watch it and see if it could live up to the LN... and it did.
I wasn't too familiar with the studio and a bit worried thinking it wouldn't be as good but I have
...
to say they did really well.
They handle certain scenes well and the animation was great but of course its never perfect but I can overlook it and its not really something I care about as long as the story is there and handled right, that's all I need. Also I have to say the music was good as well, I especially loved the ending theme song it had me teary eyed.
Of course, Ushio and Kei are two great characters, I love these two, whenever they're on the screen together I couldn't help but have a smirk on my face the whole time they were together.
I love Shonen-ai and of course I like to watch my occasional Yaoi, but sometimes we want that romance with a story and this had it and it was all I wanted.
Overall it's a great story with two cute and amazing characters, and it was handle quite well and I hope many others will enjoy this Movie as much as I did.

Now that I've finished the series I have to say Given is perhaps one of my favorite Shonen-ai anime adaptions of all time, it was just perfect right down to the music which was absolutely breathtaking, not many Shonen-ai or Yaoi shows can do that.
The Characters are easily likeable and the animation was really good as well, especially during that performance which was amazing and just seeing the romance blooming made me want to come back and see more.
It was just perfect, if I had to recommend any Shonen-ai shows to anyone I would recommend this, it was just an amazing experience that I'll
...
miss but not for long with the Movie coming in 2020, but until then I can still re-watch this entire series again to enjoy the music and romance.
