This specials you have to see when you've already finished Shiki but... theyre not to be taken slightly since theyre are proof that everyone in that town had something to do with the outcome of the series.
With that being said here are some points i'd like you to know so you can make the desicion werther to watch these or not.
Since i guess that you have already watched the full series, you have already compenetrated with the situation and you know the feelings of those who you will see involved in these two specials.
The lives of those who are victims of pandemonium are portrait in
...
here, you will see the impact on the people and how the sudden deaths of different acquaintances leave them wondering for their own safety. (for you to know it, it was Outstanding).
The art was not something i really enjoyed since i felt already awkward with the character designs and the colors. After getting used to it, i could move forward, hence the fairness of the score.
In matters of sound you will expect that it fits the dark theme and the dramatic and mindblowing situations, well, you wo'nt be dissapointed since it'll merge in a way that the music will also guide you through what the characters are feeling. i recommend for you to look forward to listen the second ending of the series to see how it fits perfectly.
The characters in here are great because it becomes obvious that everyone is involved and, decisions have been made; do not expect that people's spirit won't crack facing a demonic experience such as this; knowing it might endanger your loved ones.
You will definietely enjoy this since it'll show a darker side to those we weren't able to fully understand, and you will see how the choices they made, affected everyone and when i say everyone it means also those abandoned by god.

I was really surprised when i started to watch this show, from what i though it was to what it came to be. I can assure you that you will be turned up side down; do you wanna know why i was and how could you be? well then i guess you could keep reading.
The story, it put you througha conflict between the fears of a remote town about outcomers and their curiosity towards them. Dead is a word that will be bouncing in your mind while you watch and feel powerless; expect to get confused just to realize that the truth was much
...
simpler.
Expect to be scared when you step back and think on yourself being in the different situations that the story put our characters through.
Darkness is everywhere and in shapes so direct that we can't believe they will be so easily manifested. It is not predictable even tho you might thing you solve it all. Who has the right to live or the right to take a live? (ask yourself that and it'll make your experience a lot of fun).
I wasn't really attracted to the art in this one, for me it was more of a 'getting used to' situation since it didnt fitted really well the story; i rated it fair just because i couldn't stand some of the character designs and i felt awkward when they were presented to me for the first time.
The sound; oh my oh my it was a delightful experience, fear mostly comming from the melodies presented on each episode and darkness that came from the openings and endings but... if you ask me why in the name of everything sacred i rated the music with an outstanding; well after a while of seeing the show you will notice how the second ending (BUCK TICK - Gekka Reijin) fits in a weird way more and more perfectly to this anime; its like a symbiosis im sure you will enjoy.
The characters, hopefully you will hear it from anyone who enjoyed the show: everyone you see will be involved somehow and this is what is amazing. From the old lady sitting beside a store to the bartender serving the 'tough guys' of this town, theyre all involved, you just watch and be shaked when you rediscover 'human and monster's' will to survive.
Once you surpass the slow beginning you will be immersed in a world of medical conjectures, nightmares come to real and kids who are actually not kidding. You just watch and it'll come to you.

I came upon this show not really expecting anything, and even tho i read some of the reviews i told myself not to be so prejudiced about it.
As long as the story unveils you start to realize that this will be a mixture of different themes and that won't really make a lot of sense; that can make you really uncomfortable since you can't piece things together very well which will make you find a lot of uncoherences beetwen the story, thats why you have to try hard to understand it, and that process won't be interesting at all, it can sometimes get irritating.
The Art
...
its something else, i found it great, clarity on every aspect that you see and beautifully done. As i told you before this show mixes a lot of things so... there will be mechas and sometimes the movement applied to them can be awkward; thats why in my opinion it is not outstanding.
The Sound by the other hand, was something i really enjoyed, most part of my feelings and sensations came thanks to the mix between the sound and the situation wihch made me forget from time to time about the clumsy story.
Talking about the characters ill tell you something, there will be always that wall that will not allow you to fully compenetrate because you will not be able to naturally see them evolve, it's like the characters are imposing their changes to you instead of flowing naturally but... that doesn't exempt the fact that sometimes even more towards the ending you can find those moments on where you can compenetrate.
With the awkward story and somewhat strange character development some of the twists they tried to make and some of the situations that nailed what i was slowly expecting once i started to watch (not before as i said i came with no expectations) and adding the fact that i liked the music a lot i can say that i enjoyed this... maybe it was the art and the music afterall what made me stay.
If you enjoy a colorful, clear, well animated battle you will like those moments and embrace them on your journey through this one.

I wasn't expecting as much as i received from seeing this one, i was blown away.
This story is about that, not being able to control most of the things that happen to you on a daily basis and despite that you want them to work on your behalf, the universe seems to find a way to make it even harder for you to get them. When that occurs you can't actually choose what the outcome will be and you have to take whatever it comes even when it might not be something you would like.
The amazing art that comes with this movie, put you in a
...
context on where you can actually identify with the characters and their situations, the colors fit the situation, you can't get confused on what is wanted to be portrait where and why, you understand what you're looking at perfectly which make u compenetrate even more with the story, since you do not need to think a lot about what you're looking at.
The music is so well done that you don't notice how it pushes your feelings in some scenes reinforcing them, it doesn't take you out of the story, it does immerse you even more.
From the characters you can easily find yourself identified with them and with their feelings, they can be so human that you can't help but to think in your own life, when they have to sit and watch how the world conspires to make forget or try harder to succeed.
You will surely enjoy this if you can compenetrate with the story that you can start feeling what the characters are feeling and can make a parallel with your own life and most of all if you enjoy those bittersweet endings that keep you thinking "what would i do if that happens to me".
