This is exactly what I was looking for in a supernatural drama. This is like taking some parts from Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai and the parts where powers are a reality from Inou-Battle wa Nichijou-kei no Naka de and adding a sprinkle of "life" and how fragile the human brain is which is kindve how I felt Clannad was portrayed.
I really enjoyed watching an anime that doesn't try to make you believe that everything is always gonna work out peachy just because the MC said so. It never works that way in life. There are definitely going to be some unforseen hindrances in your "Master plan"

I wish someone warned me ahead of time so I wouldn't fall for the characters so that I would wait in anticipation wondering "what will happen next?" Its an interesting take on love spells where anyone who sees his butt will want to screw his brains out. It may be your basic "I want this girl only!" harem but it had a few twist that i didn't expect in it which I really liked. But alas there was a scantilation (is this the word lol?) issue among a few groups. Manga Pirates wanted to take over from PROcez who ...

There are people who say the first two seasons of Digimon were the best ever, but then there are people like like me that would MUCH rather this season.
I accidentally watched this season before the others so that might contribute to my bias but compared to ALL the other seasons id much rather the dark turns in this story. And for some reason i feel like the animation was different from the other ones too (different studio? i didnt check..)

Ill try my best not to spoil it.
I really like this anime and im sure everyone else would like this too because basically it touches almost every genre you can think of. I will complain alittle bit because in the anime (not sure if the manga if different but ill read it soon) they dont really use the powers they are given. So if you are about to watch this, dont expect "battles in common places" as the title would suggest but they surely made up for it with their "battle" of friendship. I came for battles but stayed for friendship. |
