When I started reading this manga I honestly thought it was going to be terrible.
It isn't. It's really good.
This manga is the perfect length for the story (although maybe slightly rushed at the end) has great characters, cute romances, and an excellent portrayal on gender and why it doesn't matter.
There are a couple things I have a problem with in it. One relationship that's hinted at in particular, but it's very lightly hinted at so you can just ignore it. Also the way Aikawa is treated sometimes brushes me the wrong way.
But, those things, aren't enough to ruin the enjoyment.
All in all it's a sweet, ... fairly wholesome (there's some dirty jokes/references thrown in) good manga.
I'd say read it if you want to read a decent manga about gender, boys love, or girls love (cuz there's a lot of the latter)

When you think "sports anime" words like 'teamwork', 'friendship', 'hard work', and 'excitement' probably come to mind. A good sports anime has an exciting plot, lovable characters, twists and turns, and heartwarming themes of "friendship" (Jk Jk I'm sorry) Run with the wind has all of these and more.

Most sports anime I have seen take place in high school, thus, giving Run With The Wind (which takes place in college) an added edge. It takes sports into the real world, where jobs, money and cost of living, are obstacles as much as the opposing teams are. Another difference is the variety of characters. Unlike most ... sports animes, Run with the wind has characters of varying ages, appearances, and attributes. With the added bonus of an excellent ending theme, an amazing main character (whom I adore), and decent animation, it certainly meets my personal expectations for a good anime.

Now, Im not saying this makes Run with the wind the best sports anime ever, but it certainly brings something new and exciting to the genre. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what this anime has in store for us.

Overall, It's a pretty good anime. The concept is great, the plot is decent, the characters are interesting, etc.
The episodes though, are too short for my taste. They always seem to end right when it's getting interesting.
The op is pretty good, and the soundtrack too, although you end up hearing the same song a lot.
If you like any sort of teen genres, or music, or something of that sort, I'd say give it a try. It's pretty good overall, and has some funny bits even.
I personally really love the main character. The other characters are decent, but underdeveloped compared to the main.
Honestly, ... if the episodes were just a bit longer to include a bit more plot and character development, I would have given it an 8. It definitely has the potential to be really good.
So all in all, I'd say it's definitely worth giving it a shot.

The highly anticipated third season of Free! is here and better than ever!! With all our old favorites, and new characters, the plot is more dramatic than ever. Now that Haru, Makoto, Rin, and Souske have graduated, we get to see what their future holds and what the future has in store for the swim club without their older members.

Dive to the future is my favorite season so far. With a perfect mix of humor, drama, and swimming it takes everything to a new level. Obviously, if you are new to the series watch the first two seasons, Starting days, and Take your marks first. ... (A prequel movie to the first season, and a movie that leads up to season three)

Story 10/10: The story is filled as many twists and turns as always, with new characters being added, and old characters reappearing. A lot of gaps of what happened to characters are filled, and everything slowly comes together. It's excellent.

Art 10/10: From the cherry blossoms, to the water, to the eyes of the characters when anything dramatic happens, the art of Free! Is superb.

Sound 10/10: The Opening and ending themes are fantastic, as well is the general background music during the show, often adding a powerful effect to dramatic scenes (of which there are many)

Character 10/10: Every single character in this show is unique and wonderful with interesting back stories and personalities that add different aspects to the show. From the main characters, to side characters, all are perfectly crafted characters that I guarantee you will fall in love with. Seriously. It's a problem. I have to many swimming children.

Enjoyment 10/10: Free! has always been by far one of my most favorite anime's of all time, and this season is no different. I find myself counting down the days for the newest episodes, and terribly sad when they end and I have to wait another week for the next. This anime is truly a creation lots of people could enjoy. With it's themes of friendship and swimming, and incredible plot twists, it's not just a show for people who like muscles to watch, as some seem to believe. I fully enjoy this show, especially this season, and everything it has to offer. Swimming, friendship, drama, humor, great music, fantastic animation, unique and wonderful characters, Free! has it all.

Overall this season is a solid 10/10. So Free! fans rejoice! It doesn't get any better than Dive to the future! I can't wait to see what the rest of this outstanding season brings us!

I am fully ... enjoying this rather unique anime and look forward to its future episodes.

Prince of Stride Alternative. I truly loved this anime. With fantastic themes of friendship, connecting emotions, and never giving up, it's truly wonderful.

I've seen that a lot of the reviews for this anime are pretty bad, and I really don't understand why. No, it's not the best anime ever, not even out of sports anime's, but even if it's not flawless, that doesn't make it any less enjoyable.

The story is your basic sports anime story line, a team of high-schoolers getting together to become a team and set their sites on victory.

The art is very pretty, the Opening theme is great, and ... the characters are adorable, and all very different. You really come to love each and every one of them.

Overall, I think this anime is really good, and I think everyone should give it a try. I'm definitely glad I did. (And I really wish there was a season 2)

As someone who has severe social anxiety (and anxiety in general) I can not praise this manga enough. It perfectly shows what dealing with social anxiety is like. The main character is a very shy girl who has severe trouble talking to people. The characters are all very adorable, although since there are so many of them it take a while to get to know all of them, and to remember all of them. The plot sometime feels a bit scattered, but all in all, it's a wonderful story that truly portrays what it's like to have anxiety. Adorable, truthful, and full of themes of ... friendship, this manga is truly a wonderful read.

Although I haven't finished this anime yet (since only 10 of the episodes are out) I wanted to make a review since there's only like one right now. This is the second season to 'Spirit pact' and personally, I think it's much better than the first season, although I enjoyed/am enjoying both immensely. This season two has very good opening and ending themes, great character development, and lots of drama that adds to the show nicely. This season two focuses more on romance and drama then season one did, and less on the supernatural elements. The story is a bit drawn out in parts, which ... was frustrating at times, but not enough for it to ruin the enjoyment. Definitely watch season one first, or it wont make any sense. This is a boys love anime. If you're are new to the genre, I'd say this series is a fairly good place to start. I think that the romance(s) presented in this are very good and sweet. It doesn't just focus on the romance either, so it's not completely something just "female viewers"would enjoy. All in all, it's a very good anime, especially this second season. New characters are introduced, there's some humor mixed with the drama, and some very adorable moments. I would definitely say this anime is worth the watch if you're interested in supernatural, romance, and/or somewhat dramatic anime's.

When I first clicked on this anime and watched the first episode I have to admit: I didn't enjoy it. It was alright, but I was fully prepared to drop it until I saw that some of my friends had seen it and given it high ratings. So I decided to give it another shot and kept watching.

At first the pauses throughout the anime bugged me (you'll have to watch to get what I mean) I ended up loving them within a few episodes. I am so so glad that I kept watching. I loved this anime. So much.

The overall themes of friendship ... (and listlessness of course) are great, and the opening theme is fantastic. The art is amazing, and I love the characters. Although the ending did not satisfy me (simply because I wanted more episodes and I don't think they covered every story line they could have) it was still good and at least gave ending to one of the main stories.

What I mainly loved about this anime was the friendship between the two main characters, who are very close, and have an adorable and often humorous relationship throughout the anime. The other characters and their relationships with the two main characters are great as well, I quickly found myself becoming emotionally attached to them all.

The opening theme I really can't praise enough. I loved it so much, and I can't stop listening to it. It's really pretty and the lyrics are wonderful too.

The last thing I really want to repeat and bring attention to is the art. It's honestly really pretty. The main character especially is beautiful (a bit Haru (from Free!) like in looks and personality, and I love the scenery.

Overall, I would say to definitely watch this, and if you're put off by the first episode don't let it stop you. I really loved this anime, it's characters, it's music, it's humor (I laughed a lot watching this anime), and it's heartwarming themes. I fully recommend this.
