One word to describe the entire show's main idea, Vengeance. But is it actually normal to seek revenge? Vengeance, or revenge, is one of the things that people often do (with different reasons). Revenge is one of human nature/trait. An event that occured in the show, triggered the male MC (Aqua) to take revenge for his beloved one. Every action Aqua takes, in the end, intends to achieve revenge.
My Star, or more known as Oshi no Ko, is a spectacular anime about the entertainment world, showbiz (show business) to be exact. Idols and actors/actresses for example. The show also involves the existence of reincarnation,
...
which is experienced by the MCs. So far, what is known, there are only two people who have been reincarnated, namely Aqua and Ruby.
Starting with the first episode which has a duration of 82 minutes, which is an hour longer than most anime's first episode. That exact episode, if broken down it could be 5 episodes, rather than just one. Despite being that long, it wasn't anything such as being boring/dull, rather it was a great introduction to the story.
Initially, I thought Ai Hoshino, a rising star of pop idol from the group B Komachi, was one of the MCs. However, unexpectedly, Ai died right away in the first episode due to being murdered (stabbed in the abdominal aorta) by one of her hopeless fans. But her death played a vital role to the whole series. As I mentioned previously, without Ai's death, there won't be a thing called vengeance in the show. The entire Oshi no Ko is based on her.
Four years before her death, Ai Hoshino gave birth to twins, one boy and one girl, Aqua and Ruby. Apparently, both Aqua and Ruby have lived past lives, meaning they were reincarnated as Ai Hoshino's son and daughter. In their previous life, surprisingly, they both knew each other and also had a relationship, although it wasn't a romantic relationship (it was one-sided). But, until the last episode, they were still unsure that they knew each other after being reincarnated. I wonder, why didn't one of them confirm about it by asking?
Aqua, was a doctor specializing in obstetrics and gynecology and the one responsible for delivering Ai Hoshino's babies. Right before Ai gave birth, he was killed by stalker of Ai, who is also a fan of her. Her daughter, Ruby was a child patient but then died from anaplastic astrocytoma (a type of cancer in the brain). As I mentioned before, the two was pretty close. In fact, Gorou (the doctor, which later reincarnated as Aqua) was Sarina's (the patient, which later reincarnated as Ruby) caretaker during her time at the hospital. Due to Sarina being a hardcore fan of Ai, Gorou also became a fan of her. Previously mentioned, their romantic relationship was one-sided. It's stated that Gorou was Sarina's first love after the two grew close, regardless of the age difference between them (almost 20 years difference). Nonetheless, Gorou didn't harbor romantic feelings for her mainly because of her age (she died at 12 years of age).
Later, the show introduces us to other important characters, such as Akane Kurokawa and Kana Arima. Their lives in the entertainment world, both show how hard it is to live up to people's expectations. The entertainment world demands very high expectations. Of course, to do so, both characters work really hard to achieve it. Just like that controversial motivational quote: "Effort will not betray the results."
Studio Doga Kobo, adapted a magnificent-looking manga, into a work of art even more wonderful, elegant, and glittering. Many people say, the whole budget goes into the eyes, especially Ai Hoshino, because of how beautiful it is. The animation quality from start to finish is very consistent, consistently outstanding. Can't forget to mention how colorful every scene is. The songs featured are all fantastic, particularly the OP, "アイドル" (Idol) by YOASOBI. YOASOBI is famous all over the world, with its J-pop songs, and "Idol" isn't forgotten. As a matter of fact, "Idol" became one of the most played songs at the time.
Watching Oshi no Ko is a must. Not only is the animation eye-pleasing, the songs are ear-pleasing, the story itself is excellent (including its themes). At least try watching the first long episode, it is the main base of the whole story. If you liked it, I believe you'd like the show.

Go! Go! Loser Ranger! or Ranger Reject (Sentai Daishikkaku), an anime which was probably inspired by the widely-known, famous action superhero television series, Power Rangers.
The following is a brief summary of the Power Rangers plot:
Power Rangers series revolves around a team of youngsters who can morph into "Power Rangers", with the the result that they gain special powers and superhuman abilities to beat the villains.
Sentai Daishikkaku has a fairly mediocre animation. The studio Yostar Pictures used CGI quite a lot for this show. What's pathetic is that most of the CGI scenes are actually bad, why? They look pretty much like Ex-Arm's animation (although
...
this is surely better) which is disappointing. But, besides the CGI scenes, the non-CGI ones are somewhat decent. At least the OP and ED can make up for it. The music itself is great, especially the ED which is interesting.
The plot of Go! Go! Loser Ranger (Sentai Daishikkaku) is contrast to Power Rangers. Unlike Power Rangers, the Rangers here, who are usually the protagonists, become the main antagonists because of the way they act. Particularly the higher-ups, the Dragon Keepers. Their actions in front of the public make them look like true, bona fide "heroes". However, deep inside, the Dragon Keepers are rather rotten and pretty much corrupted. Not to mention, they're also extremely brutal, notably the leader of Dragon Keepers.
This show obviously makes you feel nostalgic if you've watched Power Rangers before, especially for kids in the 90s until early 2000s. Besides that, it's an enjoyable show as well as humorous.

Looking at the posters, and reading the title, you might be expecting for another highschool rom-com story. But apparently, it turned out to be quite "unique". How so?
My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, also known as Oregairu, or My Youth Romantic Comedy is Wrong as I Expected, for the literal translation (Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru.) is an anime where the characters live as highschoolers with various traits that can be found among them. Including friendship and romance.
Studio Brain's Base, animated the LN pretty decently. Despite the show has been for more than 10 years, the animations don't look "old". On
...
the contrary, they look lovely and stunning. Hence, I can give the studio, Brain's Base, a good job. Can't forget to mention the OSTs (OP/ED) too, they are great, pleasing to the ear.
Just like what the others have said, this show is mostly about comedy. I personally find it hilarious, it made me put a smile throughout the show. The romance in the show is rather obscure and inconspicuous, but it isn't completely absent. It's because of the relatively slow romantic development between the characters, which is adequately realistic. Therefore, if you're looking for "average" highschool romance, this might not be the right one for you, you might pull a long face.
Thus, Oregairu is deeply entertaining and enjoyable. It's a show you don't want to miss, especially for those who are interested in rom-com with specifically more comedy.

The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten (Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsunomanika Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken) has the theme of where the popular girl falls in love with a boy who is a nobody.
The animation brought by Project No.9 is quite good, it's definitely better than their past works, My Stepmom's Daughter Is My Ex (Mamahaha no Tsurego ga Motokano datta), as an example. It's eye-pleasing, with its details and colorful drawings, including shadowings on objects and characters. I personally like their artstyle.
"Don't you wish you had a girlfriend to take care of you?"
The male MC, Amane Fujimiya, is
...
an average looking highschooler whereas Mahiru Shiina (the female MC) is definitely one of the most well-known figure in Seijo High School because of her beauty, and she also excels in academics and athletics.
Surprisingly, Mahiru is Amane's next-door neighbor when their lives are absolutely 180° different. Amane lives in his apartment all alone. Not really sure why (it could be because of his laziness, negligence), but Amane doesn't clean his own room, let alone his entire apartment. Therefore his apartment is really messy, rubbish scattered everywhere. Not only he doesn't pay attention to his apartment's cleanliness, he doesn't even put enough care to his own wellbeing.
This anime fits into the rom-com genre as it's funny and also romantic. Both the MC (Amane and Mahiru) were something that you can call "strangers". Sure, they knew each other's names, but they weren't even in the same class. Despite they were pretty much "strangers", in the first episode, Mahiru (a girl) already gone to Amane's (a boy) house due to a circumstance, which wasn't actually that important. However, through this, we can see how much Amane cares for people, especially for those who has helped her. Thus, on one side it's abnormal and on the other hand it's wonderful.
Lastly, you must know that this anime is real sweet, sweeter than Thaumatin/Talin-sweetest substance (as of now). Hence, if you're looking for a romance anime which focuses on the couple only, The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten (Otonari no Tenshi-sama ni Itsunomanika Dame Ningen ni Sareteita Ken) is undeniably one of the best out there. As for the second season, it's confirmed that there'll be one soon! So yeah, let's just patiently wait for it!

As always, this review may contain a few spoilers.
Well, let's keep it simple. Not sure why the MAL score for this anime is quite low (6.66 as of now), but it's actually a very good anime. There are a lot important messages that can be taken (although it depends on how the way you think). For example, you better not try to date your own teacher, etc. This anime is clearly at the border of "H" anime. Therefore, you better watch this with the family (more fun ofc).
Animations: Kinda disappointing (a bit bad)
I first thought that this was made before 2018 because how
...
it looks. The average 2019 anime qualities are still better than this. For example, let's say Kaguya-sama. Both are released in Winter 2019. But Kaguya-sama has better animation quality than this. So basically, the animations are pretty much worse than average 2019 anime.
Soundtracks (OP, ED, and also BG music): Probably average?
The OP is definitely pretty good (from the music side), I mean like it's made by Minami. But one thing, it's just not memorable or that iconic. Same goes for the EDs, even though not made by Minami too, but those are still pretty good. As for the background music, I find it quite terrible. Why? There are a few moments when it's supposed to be sad, but the background music is that of "idk, party probably"? We all know that BG music plays a very important role when it comes to dramatic moments and such (it adds the atmosphere). Sadly, this is where they failed.
Plot/storyline: Great
As I said in the beginning, I don't get why people rate this so low though? The plot is pretty clear and the storyline is neat. The pacing is also pretty much perfect, not too fast, not too slow. And because of that, I personally don't feel bored watching this at all (fyi: I watched this 12 episodes in the same day). Oh yeah forgot to mention, this anime is full of emotions, and it'll make your emotions change, and mixed together at some point. It somewhat also not cringe at all.
Character developments: Great
Episode per episode, slowly the characters undergo changes in the way they think, talk, do things, etc. It's not just one, two, or three. In my opinion, all of the characters experience great character developments. The most visible character development here is Rui Tachibana (the blue haired girl). At first, you can say she was kinda indifferent, ignorant, and doesn't held any feeling towards anybody. But after a few ep, her character changes quite a lot.
Conclusions (Overall): 8/10
I guess that's probably all of it. The anime is definitely not perfect, but you definitely must give this a shot. And remember one thing, WATCH THIS WITH YOUR FAMILY FOR THE BEST EXPERIENCE!!!

Spoiler Alert!
Still, the title of these series are just making me confused (I don't really get what the titles are supposed to mean). This anime movie is basically a sequel of the first season. But in this movie, the story is more about Shoko and Mai. If the first season makes your emotions drive like crazy, this movie will basically wreck havoc of your emotions. Literally all: happiness, sadness, etc.
Animations: Pretty good
Although it's a movie, the animation isn't something big, it's probably like those average 2019+ anime, but just simply better. I personally think that the 1st season got better animation than this ngl.
Soundtracks:
...
Still be hitting hard
The only soundtrack in this anime is the ED, which is the legendary "Fukashigi no Carte". One thing for sure though, they did the song better (movie ver.) than the 1st season's version.
Plot/Story: Very good
The plot writing is definitely neater than S1, but to be honest it looks more rushed (like, they forced to shorten the movie as short as possible). Because it was rushed, sadly there are quite a few "plot holes" in the movie or at least events that happened and didn't get enough explanations. For example, they didn't explain about Shoko's condition fully (specially about the quantum entanglement or so). I mean like, this movie is more towards just Shoko and Mai. The time and date of every moment is very clear even though there are A LOT of timeline jumps.
We got to see more about the characters in this movie, including Sakuta, my bro MC. Them be showing a lot of expressions that we haven't seen in the first season. Well, it might seem to childish to some people because the characters are showing more expressions. Oh yeah, just like what I wanted, the movie is more dominant towards Romance (finally bro).
Alright so, it deserves an 8/10 from me.

Warning: This review may contain spoilers.
For starters, to y'all that think this is really going to be a Bunny Girl senpai anime, well it's not wrong. But sadly the story has basically nothing to do with Bunny Girl (there are literally only 2 moments where the senpai wears the costume). The anime's title is just not right, and misleading to be exact. It should've been something related to a popular figure. The point is, if you're looking for ecchi scenes, this isn't the right place. Or even if you're looking for a literal bunny girl, it won't be what you think it'll be.
Animations:
...
MAGNIFICENT!
Breathtaking animations for real, it's definitely one of the best animations in 2018. It's really good that it could make you want to see more and more! CloverWorks really nailed this one.
Soundtracks: Unforgettable
Well, although the soundtracks are only the opening and ending theme, but those soundtracks are just pure masterpiece ngl. Even I knew both the OP and ED theme before start watching it. It's just that great!
Plot/Story: Great
First of all, this anime will literally make your feelings, emotions, all mixed up. You'll literally feel all human emotions in just 13 episodes. Just so you know, the anime is more towards Supernatural (Mystery) and Drama. That means, if you like thinking, solving mysteries, this'll be a perfect fit for you. Oh yeah, I also think that it has a Comedic side too, which some people might find it funny (including me). Although it's not realistic, there are quite a lot of relatable moments in the story. Honestly, it's not what I wanted. I thought it's going to turn out to be like the average Romance in School anime. But SOMEHOW I really enjoyed it MORE than what I expected.
The plot is actually crystal clear and quite simple, even though people are saying: "I don't understand what I'm watching" or so. I mean like, hey, it's about mysteries. And because of that, it's prone to "plot holes". Huge respect to the author for making ONLY a few plot holes, if not unsolved cases.
Character Development: Superb
I forgot to mention, the character development is crazy! Episode by episode, you'll know about the characters more (their personalities).
OVERALL: 9/10
It's definitely a must watch anime.

Animations: siCK
First impression, the animations are sick, pretty good, you can see there are lots of details in every scene. The shadowing in most of the scenes are fantastic. And they aren't broken (I don't know what to say for this word). Osamake's animation is surely better than average 2019+ anime. I gotta say Doga Kobo did a really great job.
Soundtracks: average ig
Soundtracks are pretty much mid. The richness of the soundtracks' aren't that much. It's pretty much average, nothing too special.
Plot/storyline: hmm I don't even know what the anime is about
The plot is definitely super messy. It's not even clear like what
...
this anime is about. Comedy nah, romance nah, harem well yeah, and also most of the time cringe obviously. Let's start with comedy, I don't really find a lot of moments to be funny or at least exciting. And there aren't really much things that you can relate to.
Romance, there's basically nothing about romance up until the Okinawa trip (episode 7+). The romance developments aren't great at all. Because of that, the character developments are also bad, but not horrible. Oh I forgot to mention, there are also lots of moments that are pretty much weird? Yeah I guess so.
Not to mention, the end is just pretty quick. I don't even know which girl that Haru "loves" the most/who wins. I mean, it's definitely like the average harem anime where the MC doesn't even pick a girl. I don't recommend watching this unless you don't even have anything to watch.
Episode 1-6: 4/10 (Bad)
Episode 7-12: 6/10 (Fine)
Y/all that like this anime, please forgive me but overall it's a 5/10 from me.
