Legend of the Super-beast and Violence Jack share an awful-lot in common. both have an amnesiac protagonist with superhuman strength who fight against evil thugs, rapists, criminals, etc. And both are set in a bleak and deserted wasteland. Legend of the Super-beast is pretty much what would happen if Toshio Maeda did his own version of Violence Jack.

both are about an innocent human that transforms into a monster and kills people without being able to control themselves. both are very gory and disturbing, but one of the main differences is that urotsukidoji contains graphic scenes of rape, while pupa doesn't.
