Mashle - a mix of Harry Potter and One Punch Man.
Not going to lie, I really enjoyed reading Mashle. The comedy was pure gold, the character designs were good, I liked the fights, and I really loved the main group, even though they were all extremely stereotypical.
But that enjoyment lasted for at most 40 chapters. Don't get me wrong, the new side characters were decent, but the fights didn't excite me as much, mainly because they became too repetitive and predictable really quickly. The main villain also didn't intrigue me as much, they seemed like your typical overpowered antagonist.
I thought that I completely lost interest
...
after reading the 90th chapter like I started to not care at all about what happens. But I noticed that every time Mash was not part of the fight, I would immediately get back my excitement for the action.
I didn't want to say it, but it does seem that my biggest problem with this manga is Mash, the walking disrespect. In the beginning, he was a character you could relate to. But later on, he becomes an unstoppable protagonist with no real consequences. Every time we get introduced to a new side villain who seemed more powerful than the last enemy Mash faced, some chapters later, he completely overpowers that antagonist, they tell their backstories or have a flashback (this could be said about every villain in this Manga), and once again a new and even stronger antagonist shows up. The side characters have to fight for their lives or even risk their own lives for the sake of others. They show much more growth through their battles than Mash has ever done.
I have never rated a show by splitting it into segments: plot, characters, action, art and so on, but I have my own simple system which I really like. Therefore, I give Mashle manga a 4 - bad, but I can see why others like it / enjoy it. I am just not a fan of a main character who is overpowered and wins every single fight. I am more into deep world-building and character writing, but that is not present or explored in this manga.

Sakamoto Days short review (without spoilers):
Sakamoto Days is a refreshing manga series in the shounen genre. I wouldn't call I peak fiction, but it is still damn good and overshadowed by other mangas:
First of all, there is little to no magic involved, with superhuman strength and unique talents (like Spy X Family or Gintama).
Fights scenes are not too long nor too short, they are creative, with different characters, situations and weapons.
The character designs are made so well that you can easily recognise and distinguish pretty much every single character in the series.
Comedy is present but hasn't made me laugh yet, however, conversations between certain characters
...
always make me smile.
What I don't like is the overall assassin world.
I don't get why there are so many assassins, people who want to be assassins, and others who seem okay with seeing destruction and fights happen, and move on like it's just an ordinary day, even though hundreds of assassins die during the entrance exams and even during schools days...
But that is it!
It's a good manga - 8/10, aaand it's worth a try...
Try it!
Okay, bye o/

Chainsaw Man short review (without spoilers):
Background:
I read Chainsaw Man manga due to its popularity, going in without knowing anything about the plot or characters. The first chapter was quite promising and made me want to read more. The fighting scenes were gory but epic at the same time, the art style was quite messy but simple. However, the following few chapters made me feel uncomfortable for how much Denji, the main character, was horny. I stayed and kept reading mainly for Aki, the deuteragonist, having little to no hope I would enjoy the rest, which somehow ended with me falling in love with the manga.
Story:
I
...
gotta say, the story is one of the most memorable stories I have read. It may be a simple story, easy to follow, yet intriguing, knowing the author can pull anything to play with our emotions. Compared to other mangas I have read like Noragami, Pandora Hearts or Magi, I can't remember more than half of what happened in those stories (but that might just be a me thing...). The story is not just about fighting and touching boobs. There are character developments, plot twists, emotional scenes, and panels that are heartfelt (especially in Part 2).
Characters:
The characters are the ones that grow on you throughout the journey. Especially the main character Denji, whom I disliked at first, seeing him in Part 2 breaks my heart for what he has been through, and how much he has grown. And digging into his character as a protagonist, I also want to include the fact that Denji is the most realistic main character in the Shounen genre, with realistic goals and dreams.
Powers:
I am also very into power systems, and I enjoy well-thought-out power systems in animanga, rather than them being random gained abilities. I have to say, the power system in Chainsaw Man is one of the best, gaining abilities by making contracts with a devil which are not only based on its fear, but also the payment.
Conclusion:
In the end, all I want to say is... Chainsaw Man is great. I would even consider it a masterpiece.
Chainsaw Man manga is something you can easily read within 2 days, but if you speedrun it, you must reread it again.
That's it. Bye

A quick review for people who have finished the anime (no spoilers)
Noragami - it feels like each chapter has something important to tell and spice up the plot. It has a lot of mysteries and plot twists which make you read more and more. A lot of characters can grow on you and they become likeable.
That said, it is a well-thought-out story as well as world-building. It feels like the author has thought of every single possible situation.
The adaptation itself is quite strange. They rearranged a whole lot of scenes, but I also have to say that I very much prefer anime's order to
...
manga's. However, I must say that the last arc of Season 2 is way different from the manga's so I suggest reading it either from the start or from chapter 35.
I would definitely recommend Noragami to anyone, especially for those who have finished the anime, just for how good it is.
