Well.... I was honestly expecting more. That's why this doesn't get a perfect score. Honestly i dislike this studio. Going as far as using CGI for a 1 on 1 fight ... With normal-sized individuals and such .... Ahhh, i just want to see more ufotable masterpieces, but i doubt they'd do a sort of "remastered" version of this story like they did with stay/night ... But alas, one can hope. Storywise, it's way above the other seasons . Fanservice's gone .. Not that i mind it really, i ain't a really big fan of loli and all. Maybe some longer ova series with the

Well, the story is the usual solid entry in the Fate Series. I can't however give a perfect score . Especially when i was robbed of a ufotable unlimited budget works masterpiece. Wish they'd keep all the entires in the series to themselves. But i guess they have their own circumstances. But those circumstances did lead to this tragedy . I recommend it as a story, the animation ain't bad but it's clearly not ufotable. It will never be .
That being said, normally it's a illiya route, but the illya route is actually the Miyu route. Honestly im not certain myself . But that's ...

Well, there's not much depth into this one , as it's an OVA meant for the fanservice obviously. And it that regard it accomplishes it's objective 100%. Honestly jumping into this series, i gotta admit i ain't a big fan of loli stuff ya feel me. But art is art . Well, this was quite the ride if i do say so myself. The girls who straddled this anime's MC would say the same . Jokes aside, this anime was actually surprisingly good. And what i mean by that is the plot. Usually these sorta fanservice anime have a paper-thin plot. This one however has an actually intresting plot. The animation is allright, except for the CGI(obviously). And the fanservice is rather weak as well. The way powers work and all is also very nice,with all of them having drawbacks. With an exception here and there though.

A real good watch. A stand-out MC is this anime's strongest point. The best part with this sorta MC is when his ruthless solution to the problems are deserved for the receiving party. If he would be cruel for cruelty's sake then this premise would fall off pretty quickly. Now... there's quite a few issues to be adressed. The worldbuilding . It's very thin,outside of the clan system .Most jobs are not explained at all, and barely use any god damn abilities. The other big issue is the other characters. I sound like a broken record at this point, but counting on these ratings to do any justice to any anime at all is a mistake everybody should learn from . This one especially . But what can you expect when generic power of friendship shounen are this well recieved in here.
Now enough about things that don't matter. This is a solid watch . From the world building to the story. It's not anything that's gonna have you thinking real hard about it,although there is some slight mistery and subverting of expectations . And i have no clue what people are on calling this generic. ...

The world building is weak, most characters don't even get named and all, the one character that got me riled up only appears in like 2 episodes, and with these many chicks in the anime you'd at least expect some semblance of fanservice ,but it's non-existent. I was reluctant to watch it at first . But when i finally gave it a go, it didn't dissapoint. The first 2 episodes are meh, but it picks up afterwards. The dry and morbid humour reminded me of The Amazing world of Gumball in a way . I laughed plenty at this one . The animation is very basic though. Really bad . There's not much of a plot really. There is however somewhat of a character development. This anime is the real PG-13 experience that other anime with the same rating don't give .

Disappointed would be an understatement. I actually enjoyed the first season quite a lot. It had that polish most isekai really don't have. And in the last episodes of the last season they showed that even as strong as he is, he isn't invincible. He's still very much mortal. So i had hope. Then this season came along . And my hope was jumped in a McDonalds parking lot. It's never gonna fully recover . And now i will explain the why.

In the first 2 seasons i could look past it . But it's plenty of time and the world is already pretty well built. The world itself and the system around it are easily the biggest forte this show has and judging by how the story's going it's the biggest strength it will ever posses. The reason is easy to explain. Too much talking. Too much "strong character introduced by name alone" going on. Barely any actual fighting and any actual show of the spoken power of most characters.
Hopefully i am wrong ,and in the next season they will pick up the pace, but i ... |
