There are a lot of different styles when writing High School romance. This one's actually simple yet still captivating. The story is not that complicated, but the plot still runs smooth and gives a worthwhile time for the reader (like myself).

The art is alright, it's not bad nor good, but it's fitting enough for the theme of the story.

The character designs might not be that iconic, yet they portray their roles well for the story.

Well, this is a one-shot, but it did its job well enough and brought new story in the genre.

I recommend giving this manga a read if you've got few ... minutes to spare, I guarantee you'll get something out of it.

Well, what can I say? It's an excellent and adorable one-shot.

I first heard of this manga when I recommended Runway de Waratte to my friend; he did some research and told me that the author had a one-shot entitled "Hoshi ni Negai wo" or "When You Wish Upon a Star". As the manga of Runway de Waratte just ended, I figured it wouldn't hurt to read this since I know this author knows his stuff in the manga.

And here I am, writing a review on how amazing it is.

It started with just a simple "snub senpai and a cheerful/annoying kouhai", but it later ... became a touching and wonderful piece of literature.

Since it is a one-shot, I won't spill some crucial details of the story, but trust me when I say that the art style fits so well with the story, and the panels are gorgeous. It is quite a simple story to follow where the story is explained in just 3-5 minutes of reading.

Overall, it is a solid one-shot, and it will probably be one of the great one-shots you'll read.

Choppiri Toshiue demo Kanojo ni Shite Kuremasu ka? It is kind of weird but also spicy.

On the surface level, the premise sounds illegal, but who cares? This is a manga -a fiction, and the author is not promoting it; they are just writing a cute story about it.

It's weird seeing a very young boy entering a very mature relationship where one must have patience, experience, and understanding. Most of us know that youth loves are the wild ones or the most unrestrained love of them all. Nothing is limiting them except that they are underaged because they do not have any responsibilities. This series exposes ... our protagonist, a young male student, in the life of an adult (his partner) who is very pure as she is sheltered from any "sins" of the world.

It's quite cliche how this big-breasted woman who would most likely be lusted by her peers has no experience, yet she gets exposed to some lewd some just when she got her first boyfriend. But still, it's cute, so I do not really mind.

What bothers me, though, are some forced dramas throughout the series to progress the story. Personally, a little bit of daily life focused like casual dates are enough, but throughout 19 chapters, a lot has happened (tho each chapter has about 30-40 pages). If you are more into a slow-paced one, I don't recommend binging to the latest chapter.

Overall, this is very inoffensive but also not impressive. I categorize this as one of the "trash" manga that we consider our guilty pleasure series.

This one is a no-brainer read, so you can just turn off your brain and just enjoy reading this cute yet "horny-inducing" story with a very not legal couple.

This is just a clean read.

We all read one-shot mangas because sometimes, short but fantastic stories are what we crave.

Nanokakan Shokudou or 7 Days Diner is a very wholesome and sweet manga. As a one-shot, it does not explain every detail due to the limitations. However, this one provides a simple transition which most of us wouldn't notice that some elements are missing, and honestly, they are just simple ones.

What I commend about this one-shot is the constant romantic tension present for both characters. Most importantly, you can genuinely tell that these two characters are meant to be, just like that one couple in ... your class who hasn't started dating yet just because they are still shy.

This also has a solid conclusion that will not leave any reader hanging, and it is truly worth reading if you want to kill time and crave romance at the same time.

A one-shot manga that is suited as a one-shot and at the same time isn't.

A unique take on the grim-reaper stories with creative chemistry between the characters. It is literally a roller-coaster ride where it goes from depressing to wholesome to sad to joyful and etc. Character development and world-building natural and interesting. Overall, the story is quite fun to read.

Being a one-shot, the story is short, and it was structured beautifully with different plot elements and twists. However, there were some parts that I personally wanted to be expanded upon. For example, when plot A happened, plot B proceeded, but, as a reader, I ... wanted to know what happened between plot A and B. Still, when approached critically, the story is better off that way, which is why I couldn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to because I wanted it to be at least a volume-length manga.

Nevertheless, the story is unique, wholesome, and fun. Since this only has a single chapter, I do not want to disclose any major plot for you to enjoy your reading. It only takes few minutes to read this one-shot, and everyone should give it a try.

The MC is very likable. Change my mind.

Do you know any series where there's a harem full of beautiful women, and this lucky bastard is just dense and is annoying the hell out of you? Like with no other reason? Like they're just born to piss us off by being dense and petty?

Then my friend, the MC here is different. (Not as great as Yuuji from Grisaia nor Issei from High School DxD tho)

Anyways, the story follows a young boy with his group of valkyries-cute girls with superpowers. The twist is, they need to undergo some romance-thing before the girls power-up. In Norse mythology, there ... are 9 valkyries so obviously, there are 9 girls. And yes, all of them are well written. Btw, expect some norse mythology references so yeah, literature time.

The concept is actually impressive, as they made a convenient plot device to explain the supposed to be not explainable ecchi elements. And yes, it works

As I've flexed a while ago, the MC is well written. As first, you might get annoyed by his attitude, but as the story progresses, you'll come to sympathize and understand the MC for his action. Not to mention, his growth.

Most people would not take this manga seriously as this is another "Typical ecchi harem", and yes that's true, but this is my guilty pleasure anime. I know it's trash to others, but I enjoyed reading it even if people think of it as trash.

Critically speaking tho, yes, this is trash. But I'm a man of culture, who appreciates art, and I'm proud to say that this is a great read.

You want a group full of badass serial killer women? The one where they murder others while being extremely hot and sexy? The one where they have sex with a man then kill him afterwards in a gruesome way? The one where there are also lesbians and they go full yuri and make us some horny bastards?

Then welcome, intellectuals who have a great sense of culture.

Seriously tho, this manga is not for those who are sensitive to rapes, gruesome murder, and any kind of exaggerated violence.

To start, I would like to say that the author is very creative in making scenarios and building up ... the core elements in the story. The goal is clear, the setting is well setup, and the characters are not left aside (of course, except for the usual side characters whom we don't give a f*ck). The coolest thing in this manga is the knowledge of the author in serial killing (history lessons baby). However, for me, it falls short in making it more interesting that it should be. While I was reading, I would know who'll die, who'll get raped, who'll have sex, and worse, I'll be able to know exactly what will happen in the next chapter. I'm not sure why, but maybe because of the obvious hints or I'm used to this kind of story telling. I did't make the manga lose its worth tho, it only ruined my experience.

But I can promise that you'll have moments that you can't wait to turn to the next chapter, as I was not able to sleep just because I wanted to read up to the latest. It can make you hype, tbh

Personally, I'm quite disturbed on how the author made such beautiful and bright characters just to make them whores, but I guess I'm just a simp :<. These elements are essential to the story btw, you'll learn later on

To sum up, if you want a badass women and don't give a sh*t about sex and violence, then you might find this interesting

Basically, that's the gist of it, at least from the first 5 translated chapters. They made ecchi as the central focus of the story (Like literally, just read it), and there are psychological elements everywhere.

At first, you might not understand what's going on, but slowly you'll be able to. I'll give a 5 as of now since there aren't too many chapters that are being translated, but it has potential.

If you can read Japanese, I believe the series is already completed.

This is one of those stories where the MC is some kind of genius who tries to hide his abilities.

Well, in these stories, the MC has some kind of reasons why he wants to hide his intellect and live a normal life, and in this manga, the reason is quite simple.

The story follows a "Kakegurui" style of high school where gambling is the core system to survive. The interesting thing is that unlike those edgy-psychological gambling school, this has goofy and humorous take on this kind of genre. But don't worry, there are serious moments in some chapters that can easily surpass the mainstream ... gambling school conflicts. Think of it as a fresh take on
the gambling genre that you might like or dislike

If you want a psychological/comedy type of series, then this is for you

Note: If you are sensitive to incest, then I suggest you to turn away from this. Although it's taken as a joke or a plot device and there are no serious incest scenes. If you get easily triggered, then sorry, this ain't for you.

This is one of the stories where you are introduced with the world that the characters are in, and it's up to the characters to make the story interesting.

As of now, there are only 11 chapters that are translated and the story hasn't really progressed that much. However, the latest translated chapter was able to introduce the plot devices and the different colors of each character. Personally, the story is still average as there hasn't been any big conflicts, but there are already hints that this will be an interesting series. I hope that this won't suffer from the mainstream thriller/psychological manga that start ... interesting but ends very generic.
