There is no reason for a promotional video to look this good, but it does!
It displays the events in Asagao to Kase-san in a amv format with visuals that are very pleasing to look at and the song is nice. It effectively shows the daily lives of the two heroines without spoiling a single thing to get the viewer wanting to find out more about them through the manga. Even though it was mainly created to promote the manga, you may want to watch the OVA that had came out for recently if this had interested you as it is basically a full version of

Ryuuou no Oshigoto! or also known as The Ryuuou's Work is Never Done! or even more commonly know as straight up loli shogi. If you check the studio's past works, you'll notice that they have done two other loli-based series, one that is pretty well known, Ro-Kyu-Bu! (Loli Basketball). This with how it sounds from a general description gives off the vibe off just being another loli-centric series with shogi as a tool to just further the loli-pandering. But boy was I wrong. This show does have a focus on lolis, but also on shogi and although they do not go in-depth and explain how
...
the game works, it can still be very exciting to watch. They showcase the many different matches of our characters, ranging from a JS all the way to our Christmas Cakes with each of them playing at a higher level than the average player as they're not only trying to compete to become a professional, but against other pros too.
This show does take advantage of it's use of lolis to put in whatever quips it can to make our protagonist out to be a lolicon, but it does have other jokes available as well, so you won't be tired of seeing them outing him out as one. They have different jokes for the cast they have, with Ayumu, it would be chuuni stuff, with Ginko, it would be just her icy demeanor as she tries being a 'tsundere' and so on. You would see more different characters as you watch and most add something to it for their time there.
Now back to it being exciting to watch. They put some superhuman like abilities into use for some of these, as well as having the intensity of the matches being able to keep you at the edge of your seats. They do add some visuals to add onto this which can make it look ridiculous as to what it is going on, although some may be overboard. Personally I found this to be more fun to watch. I had also decided to pick up on shogi and learn the rules a bit which makes the show even more enjoyable with the added knowledge of knowing what the characters were doing, although it is not necessary in my opinion as some of these matches can go by so quick that you wouldn't be given enough time to see it happen but just have the general idea.
The music is pretty fun, I did like the oriental bits they played during the matches, but can't really say to much about it. And I would have to say the story is not it's strong suit as there is not much to tell other than they are learning shogi and trying to better themselves while facing their opponents. The appeal is from the characters and the matches which is to be expected with these kinds of shows.
All in all, it is something that can be very fun to watch if you are looking for a sports/game show without being too familiar with it. It does tend to glaze over some matches, but definitely puts focus on the major ones which is what really makes them more appealing to watch. The fact that this show gave me the final push to go and start playing shogi because of how much fun I was having watching them play is the reason why I decided to give this at least a 9.

Two Car is a sidecar racing anime following the the high school duo Yuri and Megumi as they race against fierce rivals in order to make it to the Isle of Man. Or at least it would have you think. Instead, we are given a rather episodic show where they would follow the formula of introducing a team and presenting a problem they may have that prevents them from competing in top form. The next episode would then have them solve their problem while improving their bond with each with the help of our power couple, who ironically hate each other (or at least that's
...
what they say. In reality, they have a pretty decent relationship as rivals in love and partners on the racetrack.) The races are a side thought, and instead could be thought of a metaphor for how each pair's relationship is currently doing with their performance getting better once they have solved their problem, but sadly most of them are in the same position as before they even had a problem which makes it questionable if any of this meant anything. Even worse is our power couple, Yuri and Megumi improving from the frustration they have with each other and toward anything that may be a nuisance to them. To make matters worst, all character development that occurs for our two protagonist is instantly dropped during the last few minutes to keep everything at status quo.
Story: Terribly boring as nothing is really happening for the most part except for the racers to work out their problems that doesn't really contribute to anything and practice racing for the qualifiers that happens at the end of the series.
Art: It's pretty average and run-of-the-mill. I heard it was supposed to be Silver Link.'s 10th anniversary anime, but it is honestly nothing special to look at.
Sound: Nothing too memorable except for the final insert that plays during the actual race. Motor sounds were okay I guess.
Enjoyment: Initially I was pretty excited to see some racing with this sidecar gimmick as it had looked quite interesting in the trailer, but sadly my expectations were not met. I will admit that it was quite enjoyable at times, but as a whole, absolutely terrible.
Characters:Our main characters were okay, as it was interesting to see their hatred drive them to victory along with the unexpected best duo Hitomi and Mao who have short scenes almost every episodes where they will do some type of gag involving their love toward each other.
Overall, I would not recommend this and would advise anyone who is interested to stay away. If you're looking for a CGDCT anime, they're a plethora of others that can at least be mildly amusing or short enough to make for a quick watch where you can be braindead.
Score: Two (Car)/ Ten

THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS
Psycho Busters, a series with potential that I feel did not live up to it.
I happen to come across this series while reverse image searching a friend's profile picture and came across this, which happened to have the same author as Getbackers, a series that I had enjoyed as a child. Despite the terrible summary online, it can be fairly easy to assume that it was going to be a battle comic involving psychics thanks to the name and the cover art for the first volume.
It starts with your typical wimpy protagonist (which others comment about during the series) but that
...
is not where the problems begin to start.
The story is rather plain with a rather generic problem that our protagonist, Takeru, needs to solve. But that's fine, the actual problem is how it felt pretty rushed where we being flooded with new characters and abilities rather quickly. In some cases, we may learn about a character and they may get developed within that very same chapter, but because of the poor pacing, it can feel rather out of place.
The characters were actually rather lackluster and could definitely been improved upon if given more time to them.
The art was not that great which is even worse when they kept on shoving in whatever fanservice they could for their 'shounen' demographic, as well as with it not seeming to be consistent at times in my opinion. But in no way is Akinari a poor artist, it just did not seem that great for this work.
A rather big element that I thought was done rather poorly is the romance. Yes, it was very obvious from the first chapter with how the mc leads into it, but I could not really believe the progression of it given the last minute backstory of Ayano.
Overall, my enjoyment of it was from the interesting concepts they had despite how overused it may be and the cheesiness of certain scenes along with how nice some of them were. I personally am a big fan of those.
One thing to note though would be the ending, it can be rather hit or miss depending on the reader's preference, although I will not exactly say why.
4/10 It felt like it could've done better if they took more time to develop the story and characters along with making sure the art was not choppy at times. But even though I did not enjoy it that much, I can still see it as a series that people might like.
