Hello guys,
Imma just says that my rating for the show will probably be a ten when the season is over, considering the manga material that is going to be animated now or in the foreseeable future, which I won't describe in any way, shape, or form besides it being pretty f***** good.
The anime is hyped up more than Chainsaw Man, also partly due to its ridiculously good opening.
The art style is clean as hell and the eyes have an original style as well, which I always focus on and like to see happening.
The voice acting is imo superb and the music+sound design in general is
...
also very good.
Ep1 was just awesome! A movie-ish duration first episode is always good in my book. Take Rise of the Shield Hero, a very good show as well.
Fr tho, it explained what the show will be about nicely and showed off everything they have to offer in terms of quality.
So far they have definitely kept up the quality and I will most likely update this review after the last episode to give a way more detailed review.
For me, it's a 10 right now in terms of hype, art, music, VAs, the cast and just the complete vibe of the show.

This Review contains spoilers.
After the Seven Deadly Sins seasons made by Studio Deen, the series has had many setbacks and problems. This movie has the same problem as all of them.
While the story was pretty normal and a good ending, since the supreme deity wasn't even ever really shown in the manga, this was pretty satisfying.
However, the fights scenes were once again bland, the 3D animation (which was never used in Seven Deadly Sins originally) ruined the final fight and the whole scene with the Supreme Deity. The voice acting on her was pretty bad as well and her powers were lacking a whole
...
lot.
Obviously, the first movie wasn't canon either, but it was the last time we had good animation, which just by that makes it better than this one.
The movie pacing was very bad as well. The start was too slow, while it just rushed through everything after half of the movie. Escaping the prison stuff and the whole Demon Realm part was just too rushed and had the same feeling as in the first movie. At the start of the fight, they didn't stand a chance, while afterward, they beat the 2nd Fairy King and Dubs instantly without breaking a sweat.
Merlin and Arthur were shown in one scene and one last time in the end, yet they didn't have any actual interactions in the movie. Completely wasted screen time.
Even though it's a short movie, it feels long to watch because it sucked hard enough and the rushed parts felt like they took more time to watch than the build-up of the movie, because it was just so bad and boring.
Verdict: The movie is ok if you're a Sins fan but is pretty bad overall. The first half was actually pretty enjoyable but it started turning to garbage in the Demon Realm fight and when the 3D fairies entered the fray. The sound effects were meh and the voice acting + effects of the supreme deity were garbage, which is a real shame.
Art was ok but also started going to shit when the 3D fairies came over.
Sad to say this was a 5 and the only reason it's a 5 because I like Seven Deadly Sins and wondered where the Supreme Deity was in the manga. The movie itself was garbage tho.

-Intro-
As a fan of the Seven Deadly Sins (manga/anime), I had to watch this movie and the 6-month wait was worth it!
Timeline/Plot = 6/10
The movie takes place in between the 2nd season. It's after Meliodas has regained his powers but before Gloxinias and Dolores's competition. This is because, well, Meliodas is very strong and Diane still has her pretty weak golems. The timeline is definitely not made clear in the movie which made me pause the movie, look it up on Google to no avail and made me feel a bit confused in trying to figure it out during 30 to 45 minutes of
...
the movie.
There are multiple interesting new characters in the movie, my favorite being the main villain, Berlion. I also liked the villain group the Six Knights of Black with their powers.
It was said that they were comparable to the 10 commandments, but they were not. That made the lore/story a bit flunky but it is a movie so it's understandable.
-Art- 10/10
The art was beautiful and just like the 1st and 2nd season. The fight sequences were sometimes pretty short but had awesome art and it made me smile. The art made the environment look stunning as well. They added in a bit of fan service so to say and made an emphasis on boob-shots every now and then when hovering the camera over characters like Merlin and Diane, which simply made me laugh cause it's added as a bit of a joke.
-Sound- 10/10
The sound was amazing as always and they made fighting scenes very immersive. They used music at the right time and of course, used a few songs we all know and love, which made the movie even better.
-Characters- 8/10
I already mentioned the villain characters. What was a shame though was them being pretty weak and almost instantly losing Don't get me wrong, they looked awesome and interesting, but they didn't have a lot of story or cool-ness behind them, except for their leader. Berlion. I liked how he looked, acted and his motivation, which was a bit flat but still kind of enjoyable, to me at least.
-Enjoyment- 10/10
Not once did I feel like I was bored or skipped anything. Not once were the fight scenes disappointing. Not once was the music badly timed or just bad. It all fitted and made me laugh countless times like the seasons. As someone who draws, the art style pleased me as always and the attention to detail was amazing. I rewatched the fighting scenes and they were made without flaws.
As already stated I rate the movie overall 9/10. This is because of the flunky timeline representation + sometimes flat story of the demon knights. Those flaws were still overshadowed by the rest of the movie, which is 1.5 hours of pure enjoyment to the Seven Deadly Sins fans.
