I would be an understatement to say that I like Black Clover. Black Clover is next to Mononoke my favorite anime of all time. When episode 170 got released I was sad that we wouldn’t get Black Clover for a while especially since reading the manga. Then however it was announced that a movie is supposed to come out. I waited two years being incredibly excited only for my hopes being shattered when I watched it. This movie is a 4/10 and here is why. There will be slight spoilers for the movie and series.

Art: 9/10
The art was something I absolutely loved to bits. It ... was so fluid and fun to look at especially because it’s something Black Clover related. The fans started getting top tier animation around the Spade Kingdom Arc and the movie was pure eye candy as well. Sadly, this is the category that makes about two points of my rating.

Sound: 6/10
The sound was fine. The song at the end was nice and them using Haruka Mirai was a nice callback to the first season. The rest was just fine for me. There wasn’t any music that stood out to me that much and it was pretty generic. It wasn’t horrible though.

Characters: 3/10
Oh how disappointed I was. I saw the four wizard kings in the trailer and enjoyed their appearances. They looked cool and Conrad was using a cool magic type I found interesting and unique. And in the end that was all I enjoyed. I liked the character designs and their magic types. Their personality’s were basically nonexistent and so cliché it made me cringe. For prior wizard kings there was not a lot going on. But it’s not only the wizard kings. All characters in the movie had almost no personalities maybe with Asta and Mereoleona being an exception. I was surprised how lifeless the characters seemed and I was so painfully obvious that the movie wasn’t canon.

Story: 1/10
Yes I went there. Black Clover is my favorite Anime and here I am giving the Story a one out of ten. I seriously don’t understand the hype. Why are people liking this movie? Why are there’s so many 10/10??? The story is what ruined it all! The concept was so interesting and it was something I really wanted to see. Wizard Kings who ruled before Julius and were “evil”? Sign me up I’m intrigued! *Smash* You hear that? It’s my hopes and dreams shattered on the flood. Yes I am salty and maybe even passive aggressive but I have a reason to! People even admit that the movie is cliché but still say it is good. I cannot agree with that. I watched the movie yesterday and I don’t remember crap. That’s because over the course of the movie NOTHING happened. Wizard kings show up, they fight, Asta and friends win. That’s all. That’s the story. They don’t even elaborate how exactly Conrad broke free he just did. The fights in this movie are also all so loooooog. Like bro can you not stretch out the fight for an eternity without showing anything new?? The fight with Yuno and the Captains against that one dude is literally this: ”Haha I’m strong you can’t defeated me Yuno! Haha I’m wiping the floor with you. Oh crap you are suddenly so strong. Nevermind I got a Powerup and now wiping the floor with you again. Ahhh no! You got so strong. You activated my trap card. This is my final form… NEVERMIND THIS IS MY FINAL FORM.” LIKE PLEASE JUST DIE ITS SO ANNOYING!! We also know that the world will be saved because this is supposed to play during the time skip before the Spade Arc! So there are no stakes! There is no tension because no one can die because they need to exist in he Spade Arc! BUT THEY SCREWED THAT UP!! How?” Well first of all: Why is Kaiser in the flashback of them holding Conrad captive there? It should have been Gueldre since he was the original captain of the Purple Orcas! Even if he wasn’t the captain yet he was the top candidate! Asta also uses his black arm against the fight with Conrad WHICH HE GETS IN THE FIGHT WITH DANTE WAY LATER! Not only that but it also disappears when Asta transforms back which is bull crap since he sacrificed his arm! ALSO WHY IS NACHT GIVING ASTA POWER AT THE END OF THE MOVIE?? THEY HAVE NEVER MET AND DONT KNOW EACH OTHER AT THAT POINT IN TIME!

As you can see I’m frustrated and salty. Very salty. So I advise you to watch the movie and keep remembering that this movie is thank goodness not canon. After my little rant I will forget the entire existence of this movie because it sucks.

Yu-gi-oh. I don’t think that there’s anyone who hasn’t heard about this show. It’s a classic but not for everyone. Watching some anime characters playing card games might be boring for some people. In this review I will tell you, why you actually should watch this movie even though it’s not that popular. I apologize since English is not my first language and there might be some mistakes. This review includes mild spoilers. I watched this movie in Japanese.

Art: 9
I was actually surprised. The animation of this movie is pretty good and all the characters look dashing. The designs of the characters were very ... pretty and well made. Mokuba got a big upgrade and looks quite cute. Diva’s design was also very refreshing to see.
But not only the characters were good. The scenery was well done as well. They looked interesting and unique and they actually had the budged to include more background characters that were NOT cgi.
The Monsters looked pleasing for the eye even though they were cgi. It somehow fitted with the scenes and they didn’t necessarily stand out in a bad way. After a while you won’t even notice that a lot of monsters were cgi.

Sound: 7
The sound was fine. It’s nothing breathtaking or spectacular but still nice to listen to. In some parts it sounded a bit weird because the music didn’t really fit to the scene. It didn’t ruin it by any means but it was still a bit weird. However it could have been much worse.

Characters: 9
I think the characters are the best part of the movie. Or, to be honest, Kaiba was just the best in this movie. He completely steals Yugi the show. It’s literally so entertaining how gay Kaiba appears in this movie. He is so obsessed with dueling the Pharao that he tries to reassemble the millennium puzzle. (And something even more insane but I will not spoil it) He literally is such a jerk in this movie and this is why we love love Kaiba.
Then we have the Antagonist Diva. He’s okay. He’s good. Not outstanding but pretty enjoyable to watch. He had some cool moments and some actually unnerving moments. His backstory is also fine. It does it job well. (But I didn’t really like his voice acting)
The other characters like Yugi, Jounochi and Bakura were important and necessary to the film but because Kaiba overshadowed them, it didn’t really feel like they were the main characters. But I’m not mad to be honest.

Story: 9
This is the reason why I think some people would definitely not enjoy this movie. Even if they were a Yu-Gi-Oh fan. The story is actually quite weird. I would almost call it a bit stupid. Just look at Kaiba. He literally said: Screw your magic I’m to cool to be affected by it. Screw everything, I’m going to summon a monster that I technically cannot draw, but who cares. I’m Seto Kaiba.
Some people probably don’t enjoy this. The plot itself has a lot of issues and some things don’t make sense. Why do I still recommend this movie? It’s entertaining. That’s why. Have I laughed at some moments that very serious? Yes. (The scene where Yugi tells Kaiba that the Pharao cannot come back after after the puzzle just floated from the sky. Then Kaiba just making the funniest face ever. I literally died.) Have I looked confused because I didn’t understand what just happened.Also yes. (The whole dueling system. Like what the heck was that.) But that is the fun thing about it. Even if you need a story that makes sense, you can watch this movie with ironic pleasure. It’s fun to watch and worth your time.

So all in all this movie was really good. At some points it seems stupid but that’s it charm. It’s still really entertaining and you definitely won’t regret watching it. Some may like it but I don’t judge you if you don’t like this movie. However you should give this movie a try.

What to say? Its good but there’s just one question in my mind. Why? Why does this exist? It’s basically a recap of the movie with a few extra shots almost nobody noticed. But let’s look at is piece by piece. I will mention the story last.

Art: 10
It’s Demon Slayer. The animation is gorgeous the opening is animated very beautifully. But that was to be expected and there’s nothing to add in this category.

Sound: 8
The opening was really enjoyable and was fun to listen to. Out of the three openings Demon Slayer has, it’s my least favorite but nonetheless really good.

Character: 9
We got to ... see a little more of Rengoku and his personality. It was fun to watch.

Story: 2
I’m sorry but this was just unnecessary. Don’t get me wrong I adored the Movie. I gave it a 10/10 but when I would like to rewatch it, I would just watch the movie. The first episode was amazing but then it’s just a recap. Why not make a special episode? They don’t need to recap the entire movie just in form of episodes. I personally think that it’s somehow easier to watch a two-hour movie, than seven twenty-minute episodes.

Overall: 5
Why not just make a special episode? I don’t get it. I would recommend everyone to watch the movie though.

The second season of Demon Slayer. If you didn’t know, it was actually watched more than the olympics. Is it that good? The answer is yes and I would recommend this to everyone to watch it. But there’s one small little thing which makes this second season not completely perfect to me. I’ll explain why. (Sorry in advance, English is not my native language. I have no idea where commas go :S)

Story: 10
Ever since the first season came out I was really invested in the story. I think it is very interesting even though it might sound a bit basic for some people when reading ... a wikipedia article about it. But the show doesn’t disappoint. The more the story progresses the more interesting it gets. Whenever you might think it could get boring, the Mangaka always manages to make things interesting again. I personally think, that the story is pretty well paced and the events make sense. This second season was just straight fire. It has really good emotional moments and action. I don’t think that I’ve spotted any plot holes but I could be wrong of cause.

Art: 10
Surprise surprise. Who would have thought. The Artstyle is a ten? How unexpected. But seriously. How? How could they have made such an visually stunning anime? All those rotating-shots alone! This shows how talented people can really be. For me the animation is pure perfection. They even seem to have improved a bit. Or they’re just flexing on us and showing what they can do now with the upcoming fights and all. All in all, if you want to watch gorgeous animation Demon slayer is perfect.

Sound: 10
There isn’t much to say about the soundtrack. It’s just magical. It always fits to the situation whether the scene is emotional or full of action. The soundtrack in general is really good and the op has grown on me. At first it didn’t sound as good as the first op but after listening to it multiple times it gets better. There’s no debate on the ed. It’s just that good.

Characters: 9
The first nine on the list. Who’s “fault” is that? I’ll cut straight to the case: Tengens wives. I know that their not that important to the further story nor are main characters. However I personally think that the three are a bit bland. I can’t really explain it but for me there’s just nothing really special about those characters. They’re not bad characters don’t get me wrong but... there’s just something missing. (I know I’m the only one but how are the chest sizes of all three of them exactly the same? How long did it took to find the woman with the exact same chest size like dammn.) Still like every other character in the show. I enjoyed the demon(^^) as well as the main squad. Just like in the first season. Tengen Uzui has actually grown on me as a character even though I thought I wouldn’t like him. (He is also really fricking attractive <3)

Enjoyment: 9
What?! This doesn’t make any sense! You gave everything except characters a ten out of ten, so why is Enjoyment only a nine out of ten?! Let me explain. There’s one issue I have with this season. Most people would probably disagree with me, but my biggest problem with the show... is the comedy. It just doesn’t feel right. The comedy is placed at the most random moments and don’t really fit the mood. It doesn’t ruin the scene and make it less impactful but it’s just unnecessary. The comedy in the first season was better in my opinion since you actually had time to laugh. In this season something comedically happens and then five seconds later, he’ll breaks lose. Like... why? It can be just left out.

Overall: 9
All in all would recommend everyone to watch it ^^. Can’t wait for season three. :D

When we read this title we already know that this anime won’t be a masterpiece. But still I thought I could get some ironic enjoyment from it, which I actually did the first six episodes. From that point it got significantly worse reaching a point where I didn’t really pay attention. The bad thing is that I didn’t miss out on the story because there is little to no story. The villains are just laughable and funnier than the actual comedy. The characters are bland with everyone wanting to smash the protagonist (even an old “grandma”). This is basically the only characteristic of the dozens ... of girls with one even falling in love with him so badly that she can be seen as a yandere. She is one of the characters I’ve hated the most in any anime. The Protagonist is just overpowered, innocent and in some way, perfect. He is actually the best character. The animation is acceptable. Not good but watchable. However this Anime is still really bad and I wouldn’t recommend anyone watching it except if they want to watch it for organic enjoyment.

There isn’t much to say. This anime is an adaptation from an Otome Game. We all knew that it wouldn’t be a masterpiece but it still exceeded my expectations. Everything was fine. Just average. It isn’t good but there’s also nothing wrong with it. It’s just cute boys doing cute things and I think that it was the right thing to do. There was no female protagonist with her harem which would have made it much worse. I don’t regret watching it but I wouldn’t watch it again. I wouldn’t really recommend it either but I wouldn't advise you not to watch this Anime either.

The first thing I have to say about this Donghua is that it is criminally underrated. I personally think that it doesn’t get enough attention and here is why.

Story: When you hear the English title “Fog Hill of five Elements” it sound like a basic story about the elements. But this story has much more to offer that you might think. This Donghua has only three episodes but still has an really amazing stetting. The way the first episode starts (I won’t spoil it) is just so interesting that you get hooked and want to see more. Those three episodes have a lot of potential.

Art: ... This Art is beyond my understanding. For me it’s the best animation I’ve ever witnessed. Demon Slayer had gorgeous animation but this is something different. The art is something else. (That doesn’t mean Demon Slayers animation is bad because it totally isn’t) There’s literally nothing I can say to express how well done the animation is. When you are a fan of awesome fights. You will absolutely not be disappointed or dissatisfied.

Characters: I can only say this again. Even though it only has 3 Episodes there’s already more to the characters than just blank pages. Every character has some depth what makes them great. Again, lots of potential for upcoming episodes.

So overall I don’t have any criticism. I think more people should watch it and look how gorgeous animation can be. Again I don’t say that all other animations are bad. I’m just thinking that it has such a different art style that everyone should experience it.
