Blue Lock doesn’t redefine sports anime. Instead, it approaches the genre with a fresh perspective, focusing not on teamwork and overcoming challenges but on competition and selfishness, offering a unique take on the pursuit of greatness. While one might question how finding the most selfish striker in Japan could work, the compelling premise and well-developed characters each facing their limits and ambitions in every episode make it a captivating watch.
The characters are the core of Blue Lock. Their individual motives and backstories intertwine deftly, creating rivalries and partnerships that add nuance to the evolving plot. However, the extreme focus on ego and competition, while intriguing, ... may not meet the expectations of viewers seeking a balance between collaboration and individuality, a hallmark of traditional sports anime.
The cast is diverse and intriguing, but not all characters receive the development they deserve. Isagi is a solid protagonist, but his arc can feel predictable at times. Even so, the anime succeeds in building tension and excitement in the matches, with twists that keep the audience hooked.
Blue Lock is a good anime, but it has room for improvement. It impresses with its boldness but lacks the depth and balance needed to reach its full potential. It’s worth watching, but don’t expect it to be the definitive masterpiece of the genre.

It was just a normal day when I was 8 years old until I watched the first episode of Inazuma Eleven on RedeTV's TV Kids program. The year 2010 was one of the most memorable of my childhood, and this anime became a huge source of nostalgia for that era, which I remember fondly. I won’t lie, i miss these days, rewatching some episodes still brings a tear to my eye as I think about those times, lived fully but never to return. For a while, there was some hesitation about Inazuma Eleven due to the success of Captain Tsubasa. However, it not only stepped ... out of that “shadow” but also secured its own place in the spotlight, completely innovating the sports anime genre. Its charming characters, each with unique abilities, united by their passion for soccer, make the anime captivating, But that’s not the main point, this is not just about playing soccer, It’s about teamwork, overcoming challenges, and the friendships we make along the journey.
It’s impossible not to get caught up in the story, it’s full of inspiring, emotional, and sometimes sad moments, a mix of emotions in every episode. The experience is valuable not just for children (as it was for me) but also for adults. The anime delivers light-hearted fun with positive messages, along with a touch of humor and drama. I used to cheer for every skill evolution, and even as a child, i understood the underlying messages.
Today, much of the determination and resilience I possess originates from this epic anime.

Denji’s journey, brutally simple yet captivating, personifies the chaotic struggle for purpose amidst despair. The anime brilliantly translates the manga’s atmosphere with top-tier animation and an impeccable soundtrack, capturing the violent intensity of battles while connecting the audience to its most melancholic moments.
Each character gets their spotlight: the brutal Denji, the charismatic Aki, the eccentric Power, the terrifying Makima, and the endearing Himeno. All are carefully developed, showcasing their human side and motivations ... to the point where they feel like a family. Furthermore, the anime explores themes such as sacrifice, survival, and the relentless pursuit of happiness and purpose in a cruel world. Chainsaw Man is a visual spectacle paired with a profound reflection on human fragility.

Death Note has a creative plot with many twists and turns, telling the story of student Light Yagami who discovers a notebook with the power to kill anyone who writes their name in it. When Detective L is introduced, a game of cat and mouse begins. It's the type of anime that I would recommend for any type of person to watch, the themes covered here are very well in-depth and explored despite being a short and objective series. The anime leads us to reflect on the characters' moral dilemmas and excitedly follow where everything will end. Death Note is the ideal choice for lovers ... of suspense and mystery and why not for lovers of philosophy.
