Kingdom Second Season Review: Completed Review.
As the title of my review shows, this is in fact the second season of the Kingdom Anime, from here I will tell everyone to watch the first season before watching or reading this review, mini-review within a review, Kingdom season one is good, but the production costs to make it were quite low, but they increased in the second season quite a lot, so it's definitely worth a watch if your into action and history with more action thrown in.
By this point I don't want to be seeing any Mountain Trolls who haven't seen the first season reading this.
...
*cough* Well then back to the actual review we go! As mentioned above about funding, many people were disgruntled by the animations of characters of the series, the movements felt odd and the characteristics of those movements felt out of place, as for the second season, the studio's fund has been improved.
I don't watch anime because some people think it's the best of the best or the worst of the worst, I usually tend to watch it because I enjoy it, if the story is the best or the worst, it doesn't matter so long as I enjoy it, from this point I can relay Kingdom Second Seasons story points to you. The anime is not one big shot where to hero saves the day or gun-blast's everywhere with mecha warriors or super heroes crashing down from the skies and blowing up stuff. It's simply an animated storytelling of the Warring States Period during the Chinese History, some parts are true whereas some bits are just fantasy. There is lots of action within this season and everything piled up is very enjoyable, but that's not all what makes the series good.
This season portrays the History of the state of Qin, protagonists Xin, Zheng and many other primary and secondary characters mentioned in the first season, it takes a step back from non-stop bloodshed like it's predecessor and introduces more realistic relationships between characters which are both happy and sad.
Warring wise, this season focuses on the state of Wei, and it's Army Commander Lian Po, whom is just like Wang Qi but of another nation. Many new and old characters are brought into this season throughout it and many surprised will lay wait to those that watch it. But the story is ultimately revolved around the King's wish to unite China and Xin's wish to become the Greatest General under the Heavens. Within the Story there is now competition between Xin and becoming the Greatest General as two new generals both from high ranking families join in to take Xin's wish, both are smart 300 man generals, where as Xin's still the truthful idiot we all love.
Moving on from the simple basics of the story we move onto the instrumentals of the series, the songs throughout the series played during the series fit each scene with amazement, sad scene music with sad parts where as happy music with happy scenes, for those that do pay attention to everything in an anime, this may make you cry, as the instrumentals along with the feelings of the situation may make you sad or even cry. Next we have the opening and endings of the series, it follows the same as the first season, one opening and three endings. Just like the first seasons opening it's annoying, but over time it drives it into your skull to make it decent where as the endings, all done by the same band are decent.
Having watched the entire second season, I will say it's not the best anime out there, but it is enjoyable it takes another step from the first season and brings it up a notch. hoping for great things for the anime in the future, the only problem is waiting for that future to happen. If you've watched the first season, then by now you've wasted your time enough not to watch the second season, so go watch it, if you haven't watched the first season, go watch it now. *Damn those pesky Mountain Trolls*
Overall I'm etching to give this one an 8/10 because it's enjoyable and it's been improved compared the the first season. The story is quite better in this one while the music has improved. As I said the funding has improved thus the quality of the anime will always improve. There has been two seasons as of yet, and anyone who has watched it is anxiously awaiting the third season to begin.
Well thank you for reading my review, hope this helps you get the feels to watch Kingdom Second Season.

The joys of life all in one.
This review is a re-hash to a previous one that I wrote quite a long time ago, after re-watching it recently, and continuing on with the actual light novels for the series I decided to re-write the review into better proportions.
The story of the Twelve Kingdoms starts off with Youko, a student of a high-school in Japan. This world quite a normal world to our own kind; is suddenly turned upside down by a fate of the Heavens placed upon Youko. A man appears before her whilst in school, kneels before her and announces she's the Queen of the Kingdom
...
of Kei and that he will serve her, his name is Keiki. This is the main summary from the plot of the anime, but we are only focusing on the anime itself.
There is a world which in fact contains Twelve Kingdoms, within these kingdoms each kingdom has a ruler, and each ruler has it's Kirin, these Kirin are magical unicorns and they serve the King/Queen and only the King/Queen. Both of these people can live forever along with their subordinates until they fall off the wrong foot with the heavens and die.
Kingdoms grow with the aid of their King/Queen, and some kingdoms wish that not to happen so they secretly try to not allow a Kingdoms new ruler to ascend the throne. Keiki has his own creatures who are loyal to him, so they are like his personal army to protect the Royal Family, thus Keiki is taking Youko to see the Kingdom of Kei, winged beasts attack them and they scatter through the Shokuu, from there Youko has to fend for her own. Humans who pass through the shoku are called Kaiyaku these people cannot speak the language of the people unless they are officials of the court or in royalty.
The story is ultimately about Youka ascending the throne, but it does expand to open for new stories, and new books within the series based off new characters including Kings/Queens and even Kirin. It teaches you the rights and wrongs about the world which may apply both in the anime and to real people of this world. Only people chosen by the Kirin can ascend the throne,
but there are false rulers who want the throne but do not receive blessings of the heavens. In Kei the former rulers sister took the throne illegally and it's all about Youko's journey to remove and succeed the throne in the interest for her people and Keiki...
The light novels have been going for quite a number of years and have progressed the story of both Youko and a number of new characters you'll meet within the tales of the anime. I hate reading books myself, but this anime had such an impact on me, I liked it so much, I picked up reading the light novels, it goes to show there are miracles somewhere. Sadly it's quite
a hard series to get ahold of, that includes both the light novels and the anime, if your really interested in watching this, then don't hesitate in messaging me, and I'll hook you up, that also goes for the light novels, sadly the light novels go for minimum sixty dollars a piece.
If you like action, adventure and slice of life which includes wishdom, then the Twelve Kingdoms is for you, I have it rated 10 on my list, because it's worth that in every aspect as it teaches you lessons in life, while entertaining you with a great story. The characters are quite unique, as I said some are human and some are not. Youko's best friend is a Hanjuu, this is a hybrid between man and beast, he looks quite dumb but infact he's one of the smartest characters in the series and he carries a huge proportion of the story on his shoulders which influence the final build of the anime for Youko and new characters.
Story: 10/10 - Truly magnificent.
Art: 8/10 - Quite an old Anime, so some feel disgruntled by the quality.
Sound: 9/10 - Sound is great, opening is calm, ending is smooth.
Character: 10/10 - Amazing Characters
Enjoyment: 10/10 - Truly enjoyed this anime, I shall put forward another recommendation.
Overall: 10/10 - This anime truly deserves a 10 out of 10, it's a masterpiece in itself and to me it's great, I would like to debate to anyone who watches it and thinks it's not good, with an honest opinion.
This anime made me change my life style and interests quite a bit, so it's worth a watch to see what it may do for you, it might
even lead you to read the books that I've already started on, I thank everyone for reading this review.

Short but long with Laughter,
Senyuu is a short series of an anime, consisting of five minutes per episode, overall it's only about three minutes, when you take into account the opening introduction and the music ending of the anime.
I waited over sie months for this anime, presuming it may be long and entertaining. randomly sitting around on crunchyroll... which I pay for but rarely use... start watching it, finished it in less than one hour... so most people want to know the basics?
Well, the Demon Kina millennium ago brought havoc to the world, then he was sealed by a Legendary Hero... current time a new
...
Demon Lord appears which summons monsters and brigade of strong demons.
King of the anime gets the descendants of the legendary hero to go kill the Demon King... so the story is plain... but why is it good? The character models are drawn sometimes in such a troll or simplistic way that makes you laugh, they get straight to the point while swaving and making fun of things from other works.
This review is kinda bland for most audiences because the story is so plain it's easy to spoil it all being only one hour long series.
Characters are random, don't know the voice actors, the ending music is alright, was it worth the six month wait? - no... but did I enjoy it? - yes.
So watch it at your own peril... you may like it, or you may hate it, but at times it can be funny.
So enjoy !

This Anime would not be well knonwn to the common eye, originally a friend
told me about it, which I reluctantly researched here and further aside.
I came to the conclusion that I'll get it and give it a go in the near future.
I flicked through some shows that I was going to watch having taken a break
from watching the 10th last episode of Beelzebub. Watched the first episode,
which I thought was only 24 mins long turned out to be a double episode.
Paced myself and got into it, the opening song doesn't really appeal to you
until you start watching and watching it, by episode 20 you'll like
...
it.
As for the endings, composed of 3 different ones, #1 and #3 won't appeal
to most people as they're quite bad, but #2 was brilliant.
The artistic style of the anime is weird, at some points it looks like
it hasn't been hand drawn digitally or on paper, but like a game with
people on axcel movements, but you'll overcome that if you continue
watching the show.
There's two main protoganists, Zheng and Xin. Zheng is the King of Qin,
who has a goal to unit China under one king, while Xin's goal is to
become the Greatest General among the Heavens and serve under Zheng.
It's quite a simple story, but throughout the anime you meet new people,
new stories unfold and new paths are forged.
Many people will be turned off by the low score of this anime, but heathe not,
this anime may be a seven out of ten, but does not subsuquently mean it's bad.
As the story is quite simply, the anime is overly enjoyed, I've had a break
for summer holidays for over three months, and throughout that time, I
barely watched more then one episode of an anime all through the day.
Normally I watch it at night time, when it's not as roudy.
Continuing above... After watching the first 5 episodes, I got into the anime
and I started watching it during the day, taking breaks eat, rest or play
League of Legends (3 matches from level 30 on EUW!), only anime's I'd of
done this for would be Naruto, Bleach and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
But it's not the greatest anime you'll come across but hey, it's not about being
the best, it's about whether you enjoyed it or not, doesn't matter what other
people think about it, so long as you enjoy it, that's all that matters.
As this review is just about finished, I will say, for those whom liked
FMA or Bleach's Voice actors, then this would be for you. If i'm not mistaken
Xin is Kurosaki Ichigo and another person is Alphonse Elric.
It's quite weird hearing Ichigo in another anime, but oh well,
give it a go, see what happens, and most of all, enjoy!
