That was this shows main redeeming quality, for me this show was kinda boring with nothing every happening but the world these girls are in is the most interesting part. I enjoyed the fact of in a world like theirs they find things we use and see everyday weird which kinda makes you think, how would we describe a clock or how the Earth orbits without being taught it in school. This show makes you rethink and puts life into a new perspective and for that i enjoyed it, but at the same time the show was boring and very uneventful.

[contains some spoilers] I cant be as ruthless as other reviewers on this site but I can say my two cents.. The show takes Mech robots, makes them a weird sexual due with one male and female while denying them any details or answers to the world around them and force them to fight aliens. Thats the gist of the Beginning.

Introduce love into the mix and kids being kids at the age of puberty become curious.

Plot twist. Role models are actually evil.

Plot twist energy source humans have been using is actually ancient animal fuel milk.

Plot twist. If you weren't already confused with ... the first species of aliens here comes another

Space Time.

All in all I enjoyed this show at times but the ending fully and totally killed my mood and liking towards this show. Zero Two had he redeeming qualities but Robot Zero Two haunts my dreams. I enjoyed this show up until There was apparently an all out space war against two "Alien" species we just learned about.

In conclusion:
Zero Two = Yes
Robot Zero Two = oh god no, call the exorcist.

Alright imma try and ignore the little awkward teaching session that Rimuru takes at the end of the second arc and talk about the rest. I whole-heartily enjoyed Slime as I thought it was different and unique. Its hard to explain why I enjoyed it so much but the Fantasy and kinda D&D feel I got from the show was there for me. The show begins with the Rimuru gathering our first major side characters and then builds off their stories and the world around them as well as reintroducing characters seen early on again later on throughout the show. For me one the shows ... overall redeeming qualities was "Great Sage" as she gets some sass later on in the show and it provides some great comedic effect. All in all this show holds an almost D&D vibe for me as well as comedy. Although it had a bumpy part in the second arc I hope to see more adventures of our one and only Slime.

If your looking for a sports anime with character development this is the place! you can see the personal struggle each character is having and want to root for them when they do good and feel bad for the when they do bad. This show puts you behind the eyes of each character and being able to witness the struggles they face when up against a powerful foe. The conflict between characters is displayed beautifully and the way they battle it out is shown like no other. For both sides of the net you can feel the drive these characters have. In the end its ... a show about guys playing with balls.
