Honestly... don't jump to conclusions, the first season was a pleasant experience, despite certain grotesque scenes, but this second season is boring, and takes place from the perspective of a protagonist who becomes sad and unmotivated after being abandoned by a girl from 15 years old, while he must be around 50 years old if we consider the age of his past life (and I don't know where the hell a damn man with a mental age of 50 would be so sad about being abandoned by a 15 year old girl).
Furthermore, Rudeus still had several other more important concerns than being abandoned by
...
Eris, such as finding his mother (which should be his main objective), but the stupid author seems to give up on this plot where Rudeus would save his mother, creating a lame excuse saying who found her and turns the anime into a boring slice of life of a degenerate protagonist who can't stand up straight because he was abandoned by a girl whose mental age is about 35 years younger than his, he may even like Eris, but to be honest, he shouldn't even fall in love with a child, and I'm not talking about this for moral reasons, but he has to be an idiot to fall in love with a girl so young, since he's not a guy in his 20s or 30s, but at least 40/50 years. That's why the work ends without a clear direction, we even see a part of Rudeus's life, but we no longer know what the character's main objective is, the author leaves it very vague, and in my opinion that's a problem.
I could still forgive the author, but I just couldn't stand the episodes that spend every moment trying to show how much Elinalise offers herself and has sex with everything and everyone, as if anyone cares about this shit, I don't know if the author is a degenerate, but this makes me very suspicious. 20 minutes of the episode showing the elf having sex with every guy she meets, without adding anything to the narrative, was what made me hate this part the most.
The anime is only saved by the animation that makes the experience cool, it's like Nanatsu no Taisai, if you remove the animation there's nothing left.
