All I can say is that this anime was reminiscent of Higurashi: When they cry series. Except, albeit with a different plotline, it was better. I thought the series would end at episode 12 or 13 (I binged the whole 25 eps btw). When it reached that point, I wondered what else they would do for another 12 more episodes. It didn't fail to surprise me that the plot just gets deeper and deeper.

The way they handled the mystery and gave out bits of information just enough to keep me hooked. I appreciate that they embraced the plot's supernaturalism and did not keep ...

I'm writing this review fresh off of binge-ing all ten episodes on Netflix. Very minor spoilers included.

The premise of the show started off really really well. Before i stated watching, I though this was going to be a revolutionary series in ways... but i guess i expected to much. Episode 1 really set the mood and believe me, as someone who has experienced the terror of earthquakes, it gave me goosebumps. When I thought everything would continue for the building up on the such great groundwork of the intro, it all went slowly downhill from there.
