"Do people fear of dying or are they afraid of not being remembered?"
Let me start-off with a question that I might just heard someone said before but don't know actually from whom. Considering this anime heavily tackles death and having to suffer the consequences of having an almost eternal life, I might really come to an understanding of what I fear the most within the two.
Let me just also begin by saying that is my first time writing a review here at MyAnimeList even though I've been here years now and already watched like just 300+ titles. Well, I thought that it was just only
...
fitting for me to do a review considering where I am at life right now. Let me just add that I am mainly an anime person that I rarely read manga and I really just throwing my life binging a lot of anime recently that it is becoming concerning (I just actually rewatched every episode of this anime since yesterday even though I am already watching it weekly, along with 8+ airing anime and was writing this review after the last episode just aired). I am worried that I am just wasting my life at this point because I also just recently graduated from college, in-between looking for a job and is just lost looking for where my next chapter in life would be. I don't know what to do with my life, It felt like that I may be actually in my 'journey's end'.
I am literally and honestly just looking for a reason to live at this point. I may be just also writing this review so that if I may ever see this again in the future, I would be reminded of how it made me feel back then and how it reminded me to properly view my perspective in life. This anime really made me feel that my life is important and was inspired to do something actually meaningful for once, and every anime that does that deserves a 10 on my list. Let me tell you that if you are looking for an anime that contains fast-paced action and cool animation sequence every episode this ain't it chief, although it occasionally does have cool fight scenes from time to time and has a great animation, this still might not be everyones cup of tea. What I am trying to say is that if you are looking for an anime that will encourage you to do something life-inspiring or just to make life somewhat meaningful, then, this might be it!.
This anime is a slow burn and a reminder that our everyday life should be considered as an adventure and every adventure is a long journey with lessons and memories along the way. It is a reminder that we should value our life because it is not just our own. We leave traces of our existence so that the future might see. We need to cherished the present because it doesn't come back another way around. We need to cherish the people that matter to us because they are all what we got in the end. What matter is that we must live our life for today and make it meaningful even in the littlest of ways. Every part of the journey would always have an end and we will get there some time in our lives so why not make what we have now exciting?. Frieren: Beyond Journey's End is a rare anime and an anime that I might remembered as something that encourage me to live on. The story of Himmel and the great party of heroes made me realize that I may not be afraid of actually dying but I was rather afraid of not being remembered.
