This is underrated so I chose to overrate it. As per-usual, those who read the source material are heavily influencing the negative reviews 🙄 and consequently hurting the author and their prospective fan base. No better way to say “I really enjoyed your book” than by hitting them straight in the wallet amiright?
Moving on.
There are not even an eighth as many “returnee” anime’s as there are mangas/manhwa etc and it’s a crying shame, I hope this statement ages like milk in the future 😌
So that aside, this anime was great. The characters were all distinctive, and art was well drawn and captivating

This anime is hilarious, and I don’t get what people don’t get when watching it. The title was a huge turnoff for me and so was avoided for mad long but.. wow was I wrong to make assumptions. I can only imagine that the people who hate this had gone in expecting like.. any other average tier isekai out there and were taking it seriously
So what is it that makes it so great? Where do I begin? Essentially the main plot is “OP MC is chill as fuck, but everyone wants to kill him since he’s so OP” or maybe even “People trying so ...

Handa-kun was funny, but overall a very sad story which left me kind of depressed. It’s no genius masterwork, but it surely has entertainment value.
I can see why people wouldn’t like this, and I can see why some do. So definitely give it a try if you’re on the fence and make your own decision. The characters really started to grow on me as the story progressed. It’s over the top humor for the most part, and the story as well as how some situations played out are far from realistic, so don’t expect some down to earth deep anime. Just have fun |
