I really liked this anime. This anime made you feel a certain way. It made you get attached to the animals. I mean, THEY'RE ANIMALS FOR GOODNESS' SAKE. I'm quite surprised that I liked this anime. I'm not into agriculture, but I enjoyed this anime. The reason I watched this anime was because of an anime podcast I listened to (Anime Addicts Anonymous). This anime was included in one of their Anime Oscars, I do believe. Onto da other stuff!

I really liked the way this anime looked. This was the first time that I ever saw an anime that had a look like this. ... Sure, the humans looked a little weird at first look, but, it grew on me. I grew to really like the way it looks. The humans may look a little weird, but the animals are ADORABLE. The calves are so cute looking. Pork Bowl as a little piglet is probably the cutest. *sniff* *sniff*

The story was pretty good. Well, in my opinion at least. I can't really explain why I like it, but I just do. Can't you relate? The characters were okay, a little better than mediocre. I don't think they were your "run-of-the-mill" characters, but they were pretty darn close to it. Mikage is just your average oblivious anime girl. Hachiken is your MC who likes the girl who is oblivious to his feelings. In this first season, Pork Bowl was my favorite character, if he even counts as one.

I absolutely LOVED the music for this anime. It really sets one into the mood that the creators probably meant the watchers to feel. The opening sounded strange at first, but it really grew on me. I liked the ending right from the start. I feel it really fits the anime as a whole.

The anime was extremely enjoyable. The animals really made it very enjoyable to watch. I liked to see them every episode. I grew to look forward to it. The art made it enjoyable as well. I feel like I'm just repeating what I've already stated. Oh well. That's life.

Overall, I would rate this anime a nine out of ten. I would definitely recommend this anime to pretty much everyone and anyone. It's just that amazing of an anime. :D
