god i love this anime so much despite it being just 13 episodes >.<

also MASSIVE SPOILERS AHEAD (you have been warned!)


the ending was rather bittersweet, but was still perfect and logical. i also loved how all of the characters managed to give their final goodbyes to Hitomi before she left (especially yuito's one where he talks about how hitomi made him stop being insecure about his drawings and how he helped her stop hating herself and her magic, and finally bringing colours into her life ugh that was just beautiful) (i was kind of hoping for a kiss but i guess a hug is good ... too because that scene was already everything i wanted. yuito confessing his true feelings for hitomi instead of bundling it up and talking about how they helped each other just made me want to cry oh my god)

i was kind of disappointed by what happened after hitomi managed to get back to her time period. i was hoping that she'd at least pay a visit to yuito and the other club members, but it was still great overall because hitomi narrating the penguin book he made just broke my heart into pieces T-T

(also about the grave im refusing to believe that its yuito's and im just gonna say that its her mom's because my feels cant take any more hits.)

anyways this whole anime is a solid 10/10 and such an underrated gem tbh. the art, visuals, story, characters, and everything were awesome, and i love how each character developed along the way with hitomi (i dont think sho had any development but eh i dont really mind LOL)

the only thing that im mad over is how unknown this anime series is and because of that i cant read any fanfiction or see any fanart about it (there's literally only one fic about it on ao3)

but yeah tysm to the studio and all of the people who worked so hard on this anime <3 this is such a gem and i will never forget it
